It seems to be more popular among station users than Starbucks in front of it. I ordered the 550 yen mixed sandwich set from the morning menu. You can choose one drink, so I chose iced coffee. The set comes with a small side salad. I thought the salad would be Caesar dressing, but it turned out to be refreshing with large leaves and acidity. The ham and lettuce sandwich with fluffy bread and margarine was crunchy and very satisfying for breakfast. The set is quite cheap at 550 yen. It seems to be one of the reasons why it is not losing to the competition. Many elderly people also use it, and they were having a morning chat in the store. It seems to function as a complete community on its own. This place is definitely a place of relaxation at Kurume Station.

I recently wrote that I have been eating breakfast properly, but I was in a rush and couldn't eat. After arriving at Nishitetsu Kurume Station, I had a ham sandwich at Cafe Tii Kurume on the second floor of Nishitetsu Kurume Exit. The ham and cheese combination was quite delicious. I plan to continue using this cafe in the future.

There is a shop located just up the escalator from the Nishitetsu Kurume Bus Center. It's on the ticket gate floor of Nishitetsu Kurume Station, right across from Starbucks. I stopped by here before my meeting. The interior is non-smoking and the service is good. I had a hot café latte (250 yen including tax). The wallet-friendly price of 250 yen is great. It's a slightly bitter, adult café latte. It warms you up with a sigh of relief. They also have cake sets and sandwiches. That'll be something to look forward to next time. Thank you for the meal!

The staff are not particularly friendly, but they work efficiently. Hot Dog Set for ¥450: Light and crispy bun with a juicy sausage. A standard and simple hot dog that is just right. The French dressing on the salad evokes nostalgia.

It seems convenient for waiting time at the Tenjin Station and Hakata Station as well, since it is located in the station building of Nishitetsu Kurume Station. The hot sandwich set seems to have good cost performance at 510 yen. It includes 4 hot sandwiches, a mini salad, and an iced coffee. The hot sandwiches come in two varieties: ham and cheese, and tuna. The cheese is melty and may jump out unexpectedly. Delicious! It satisfied my hunger and I was very pleased. I shared it with my companion, haha. It would be great if they opened at Tenjin Station or Hakata Station too!

The hot sandwich comes in two varieties: tuna salad and ham cheese. The tuna salad sandwich had tuna and cucumber mixed with mayonnaise, which was not overpowering and easy to eat. The ham cheese sandwich had rich melted cheese blending with ham, with mustard adding a slightly spicy accent. I felt that it was more satisfying than it looked. It might be good for lunch as well. There are around 50 seats, including about 10 single seats at the counter. So, it could be a nice place to spend a leisurely time or as a meeting spot inside the station. It's a unique cafe that also serves fried rice, so I definitely want to try it next time I visit.

I also visited when I had business in Nishitetsu Kurume. Personally, if you are going to enter a coffee shop while waiting for the train at Nishitetsu Kurume, you have three choices: A, B, or C. By the way, I think only C has a charging station. I had an iced coffee. The taste was slightly bitter and a bit strong. I think the second cup was only 100 yen. It may be just basic coffee, but it's close to the ticket gate, you can smoke, it's cheap, so personally, it's more convenient.

The back of the cafe is designated as a smoking area. They offer a variety of menu items ranging from sandwiches to drinks, making it a suitable place for a light meal during waiting times. The cafe is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. One of the drinks they offer is the Ice Cafe (coffee), where coffee is frozen, crushed, and used instead of ice. Milk coffee is then poured over it, creating a rich coffee drink. The ice itself has flavor, making it tempting to scoop and eat with a spoon, but for some reason, only a straw was provided (although I could have asked for a spoon from the staff, it seemed like too much trouble), so I had to wait for the ice to melt while consuming the drink.

From the morning, I visited my clients and banks in Fukuoka for greetings. When I arrived at Nishitetsu Kurume Station, I just missed the express train to Fukuoka. With about 20 minutes until the next express train, I decided to stop by Cafe Tea on the second floor of Nishitetsu Kurume Station to have breakfast and pass the time. It had about 20 customers inside. I looked at the menu at the counter and chose the Morning Set which included a mixed sandwich, salad, boiled egg, and vegetable juice for around 400 yen. The staff was quick, and my order was ready in no time. I carried the tray myself to the table. The mixed sandwich had ham, lettuce, and egg. The salad was small but healthy, with a boiled egg on the side. The vegetable juice was slightly sweet and watery, but tasty. The sandwich, salad, and boiled egg were all delicious. It was a healthy morning set for only 400 yen, perfect for waiting for the next express train for about 20 minutes.

I arrived at Nishitetsu Kurume a little before 4:30 in the evening for some errands in Kurume City. I decided to take a break to adjust my schedule, organize my luggage, and cool off. I had an iced coffee for 220 yen, and then another one for 100 yen. The taste seemed to use UCC beans, with a unique bitterness and strength compared to places like Doutor. However, the refill price, spacious smoking area, and effective air conditioning were appreciated. I enjoyed the view from the window seat, overlooking Seven Eleven and the Nishitetsu bus rotary. I plan to take a break at Nishitetsu Kurume again when I get off the train.
