I had lunch here. It was delicious, but I was surprised by how small the eel was. When I was about to ask the waiter for some mayonnaise, they asked me first, "Would you like some mayonnaise?" I was also surprised by the waiter's thoughtfulness! Grilled salmon and eel rice bowl ¥978, extra rice ¥110, mini shrimp udon ¥198.

After work, I visited a casual seafood restaurant! You can enjoy seafood at a reasonable price and also have some drinks. It's more of a place where you can enjoy drinking. I drank a lot that day. The seafood was delicious as well! Next time, I'll just have a meal without drinking!

I came here because I felt like having a drink. I vaguely remember going to a place in Yokohama in the past. Well, I don't really remember haha. They had a happy hour deal with draft beer for 320 yen. Highballs and shochu were also cheap! But the food was expensive. As I was pondering this, a waiter approached me with a paper recommending a dish. "Shirako," I unconsciously said out loud. Oops, I ended up ordering shirako, even though it's not the season for it. The result? Well, you can use your imagination, but let's just say I awkwardly savored the shirako while washing it down with beer. "Don't feed autumn eggplants to your wife, don't recommend dishes to me," I thought to myself.

While walking along the Kokutai Road, I stumbled upon Isomaru Suisan. I had never tried it before, so I decided to have the Bara Chirashi Don. It looked so vibrant with Thai, tuna, yellowtail, cucumber, and egg. It was like a treasure chest of sashimi. I left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Fukuoka expecting to find decent fish due to its location in Nakasu, but I felt that the restaurants here did not go beyond being chain stores. Fukuoka's nights are long, with a lively nightlife district nearby. I plan to enjoy the nightlife leisurely.

I felt like eating fish so I went to Isomaru Suisan. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nicely set up like a seafood izakaya. As for the seafood bowl, the freshness was just okay. The staff's service was so manual-like that it felt a bit lonely. But being able to eat seafood at a low price is great.

Oh, I ended up going to three different places. I visited 'Isomaru Suisan' after a long time, and noticed that there were fewer foreign customers compared to before. There used to be a lot of customers from Korea, I guess. Inside the restaurant, I started with a highball and then had a lemon sour... I drank quite a bit yesterday. For food, I had grilled hokke fish, honbinosu clams, surf clams, grilled squid... I ate a lot yesterday. I'd like to go back again and take it easy next time.

I was inspired by a reviewer I often refer to, so I decided to check out this place for the first time. It was our third stop for drinks after work with colleagues. The interior was filled with lanterns and fishing flags, giving off a beach house or oyster shack vibe. There were many hostess ladies since it's in Nakasu. The menu was all about shellfish. We started with a highball toast and ordered various types of shellfish like surf clams, turban shells, and honbinosu clams. I'll definitely try the first stop next time.

I went in the morning because it's open 24 hours. Overall, it's cheap but... not sure why they serve sashimi for breakfast... The deep-fried Camembert cheese was bland, had to add salt to eat it. As a snack with alcohol, how is it? They have a decent selection of sake and shochu. The sushi is average, like a regular conveyor belt sushi place. By the way, at night, half of the employees are of South Asian descent.

The lights on the Kokutai Road make Isomaru Suisan stand out. I was satisfied because I could eat seafood bowl even at 2 am haha. Scallops and clams are grilled right there. The crab miso was really creamy and delicious. If only the staff were a bit friendlier, it would have been even better to enjoy the meal. 😊

It's great that you can eat seafood. The crab shell that was grilled right in front of me was delicious.
