Osaka Port Area (Kaiyukan, USJ) must be here! A restaurant with lots of bears, delicious food and drinks! (Osaka Station) Shop name: Kuma Cafe Nearest station: 3 minutes walk from Osaka Port Station Order: Morning menu -> Fried egg + bacon toast! Inside the shop: Counter seats and table seats! -> Many bears! I stayed in the Osaka Port area overnight, and in the morning I was looking for a place that wasn't crowded and found this place! From the outside, it looked a bit dark, but inside it was bright with lots of bears! I ordered the morning menu, and it was a huge portion! And it was delicious! Next time, I will definitely come back to try their pizza, pasta, or hamburger! This place is probably a hit! I will definitely visit again next time!

Bear Cafe. As the name suggests, there are a lot of bears inside the shop. Big bears, small bears, bear drawings, bear dolls - the store is filled with bears. The food is also bear-sized. If you order like you would at a normal cafe, the staff will warn you that it's a lot of food. I tend to eat a lot, so I ignored their advice and ordered anyway, only to find out that the portions were huge. The bread is big, the cheese is plentiful, the potatoes are abundant! This is bear-sized. The food is so filling that even if you try to eat a little at a time, your stomach will reach its limit quickly. If you're a bear lover and hungry, this place is definitely perfect for you.

A cafe with generous portions and great satisfaction! This time I ordered a hamburger and chocolate pancakes. They were surprisingly large and tasted amazing! The burger bun had a buttery flavor and was slightly firm, while the patty was incredibly thick! The fries were topped with powdered cheese, adding to the overall satisfaction. The pancakes were drenched in syrup and chocolate sauce, with large chocolate chips inside, making them incredibly thick as well! A must-try for chocolate and sweet lovers. The fact that you can take home any leftovers is a nice touch. The interior of the cafe is filled with cute bears, and the green light coming in through the window creates a calming atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and approachable.

I went to the aquarium after having lunch at the Bear Cafe nearby. The interior of the cafe was full of bears, but the lighting was dim and the background music was cool, giving it a cafe-like atmosphere even during the day. Due to the decrease in foreign visitors because of COVID-19, Tempozan was quiet, but the Bear Cafe was still popular among tourists, being ranked as the number one cafe on TripAdvisor. I ordered the Bear Burger and the Bear's Dog, both of which were American-sized portions. The burger patty was thick like a steak and difficult to cut even with a small knife. Even though we shared the Bear Burger between two people, it was more than enough. We couldn't finish the Bear's Dog, so we had it packed to take away. However, the chips became soggy and it would have been better to eat them in the cafe for hygiene reasons. Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the lunch as the taste didn't seem very appealing to Japanese people. It seems there was a slight generation gap as the cafe was highly rated by foreign visitors. I apologize if my Japanese taste doesn't match with the popular choice.

Before going to the aquarium to see the bears, we stopped by this restaurant because I wanted to eat bear-shaped pancakes! When I ordered the pancakes, they warned me that the portion size was large. I said it was okay because that's what I wanted! My husband got a hot sandwich and I got the pancakes. We also ordered two drinks. The pancakes had a cute bear design on them! In the end, I couldn't finish mine so my husband helped me out! But I still want to go back again! 😊

It takes a little time to cook, but the taste and portion are excellent!

There was a bear.

I visited this restaurant for lunch after visiting the aquarium. It was full, but my friend's friend was already having lunch there, so we shared a table. The owner seemed to be from Australia maybe? There were many foreigners in the restaurant. The menu was extensive, and I chose a salad. It was very healthy but had a good amount of volume and was a well-balanced salad. The other menu items also looked really delicious! It had been many decades since I last visited this area, but there were a lot of trendy restaurants now. I really liked it, so I want to go back again!

TripAdvisor seems to be ranked 1st in the cafe category (in Osaka?) so I came here. The interior of the store is full of teddy bears. There is no uniformity and the atmosphere is miscellaneous, but for some reason it feels calming. The owner is a foreigner, so the customers inside were all foreigners. The owner is friendly and was talking to every customer, which was impressive. I ordered the teddy bear pancake, and the portion was huge! I ended up eating slowly and packing it in towards the end (lol). I had it around lunchtime, and didn't need dinner. It was delicious, but honestly, it's not something I would say "I definitely want to go again!" If you live nearby, it might be good for regular use. Also, the portion is large so the price is a bit high. I recommend going on an empty stomach. By the way, the restroom was on the second floor, but it was small and the door was somehow unsettling, so it might be better to go to the nearby Tempozan Market Place.

Even though it was a new car, I accidentally got lost on a narrow road, and even though it was a new car, I suffered a deep wound from hitting a stone. On my day off, I had to accompany the car dealer for a door replacement costing 40,000 yen and additional repairs costing 10,000 yen. Using insurance would lower my rating by three levels and increase the premium. The dealer mentioned that the door damage may not affect the evaluation much. If you are confident that you won't damage the car again, it might be wiser not to use insurance. If there is a possibility of some remaining marks, maybe it's better to go with the 10,000 yen option. Feeling down about the expense, the guy I went with offered to treat me to a cafe that I've always wanted to try, the Bear Cafe. Despite arriving after closing time, we were graciously allowed in to have a quick meal before leaving. The cafe was filled with bear decorations and had a happy atmosphere. The staff spoke English but made us feel very welcome. The nearby parking cost 400 yen for 30 minutes. After finishing our meal, we had about 20 minutes left, so we decided to explore the Tempozan area to make the most of our trip. As an Osaka native who likes to maximize experiences, this was a satisfying end to the day.

GO! GO! Pokémon GO! So, for the second time, I went to Tenpozan for Pokémon GO! Let's give back to the local community, everyone! Let's take our trash with us! With that in mind, I was wandering around thinking about where to have lunch... Oh, a Charmander... caught it... Wandering around... oh, there's a cute shop with teddy bear plushies... "Kuma Café," I'll stop by! The shop is located on the east side street of Tenpozan Harbor Village, with teddy bear plushies as a landmark. It seems to be a well-reviewed shop on TripAdvisor with stickers. The interior of the café looks cozy and inviting. It's somewhat influenced by backpacker culture, but not overwhelmingly so. It's closer to a trendy café, with a slightly dim and luxurious atmosphere. A unique and nice vibe. For lunch... it might be a bit pricey (;^_^A). I had a budget of around 1000 yen, but it ended up close to 2000 yen. Well, it's all about the experience. I ordered a Bacon Bear Burger and a café au lait for around 2000 yen. (While waiting, I tried to use the WIFI, but the signal was weak, so I gave up. What a shame.) A bear-like man, who I assume is the owner, brought it to me!... and it looks so delicious! Huge portion! Sandwiched between large buns... let's dig in! Mmm, delicious! The meat and everything are pretty standard, but the overall extravagant volume is delicious! The standout is the buns. They have a crispy, delicious something on the outside! Cheese... potatoes... I'm not sure, but it's incredibly tasty! The freshly fried side potatoes are also delicious, making it feel like a feast! I had a really interesting meal!! If you're going to Tenpozan Harbor Village for a date or something, taking a step off the beaten path and coming here for a slightly pricey but special meal... I think it's worth it! Thank you for the meal!

I received a message from a colleague saying "I'm having lunch at the Bear Cafe right now!" so I hurried to the restaurant. Even though I had already eaten lunch, I suddenly felt like eating something, so I ordered the regular pancakes. What came out was two pancakes on a large plate decorated with bears, topped with whipped cream and ice cream, and even a cute mini bear pancake on the side! Everyone at the table instantly smiled. I poured my preferred amount of delicious syrup and enjoyed the meal to the fullest. I also had a casual commemorative photo taken, it was a very enjoyable moment. I will definitely go back. After visiting the aquarium, we took a break and entered this restaurant. The owner seemed to be from Australia, and there were two men managing the place. We arrived around 3pm, and they were very busy during lunchtime, so the hamburgers were sold out. Therefore, we ordered pancakes. The staff recommended sharing one between two people because the pancakes were large, but it turned out to be huge! We ordered two for nine people, and it was more than enough. If we had ordered four, it would have been too much. However, the taste was excellent. If I ever visit the aquarium again, I would like to revisit this restaurant.

There aren't many nice cafes around Osaka Port. I went to the King Tut exhibition but it was full and had a long wait. I looked around and found a cafe with animal sculptures and lots of paintings, which looked nice. I went in and saw that the coffee sizes were labeled as "Big Bear" sizes. I ordered a regular size bear coffee and my friend got a big bear. The coffee smelled amazing and was surprisingly large for the price. It was delicious and the little snack that came with it was tasty too. When I went back, I saw they had added pizza to the menu and I want to try it next time. They also had muffins, scones, and you can get takeout. It's a great place, definitely a must-visit if you're in Tempozan.
