Tangmochan2
Located right at the intersection of Ginza 4-chome, with a passage leading to the underground walkway, but probably just an elevator from the first floor? This place seems to be a shop that specializes in Taiwanese-style tapioca milk, but the recommended seasonal drink is the watermelon drink. I wanted to take a break and decided to visit this place for the first time. I was greeted with alcohol disinfection and a lovely smile, and given the option of dining in or taking out. I chose to dine in and was seated at a two-person table in the center. The menu was available, and a QR code was provided. I thought of ordering bean curd, but the base was 500 yen with each topping costing an additional 50 yen, such as strawberry, mango, red bean, peanuts, etc. There were no taro balls. There were also food items on the menu, but I opted for the hot dessert of black sesame tangyuan. I placed my order through the QR code, which was located quite low. It took about 10 minutes, and the server warned me that it was hot. Indeed, it was very hot, with a strong ginger flavor. It had a large white tangyuan with black sesame filling, while the pink and green tangyuan were empty inside. The white tangyuan was soft and fluffy, and the black sesame filling was sweet and fragrant. The balance of sweetness, spiciness from the ginger, and the sweet syrup was perfect. Personally, I found the white tangyuan a bit too soft. The staff had lovely smiles and refilled my water without me having to ask, which was helpful as the dessert was hot. The restaurant was narrow, with sofas and counters having power outlets, but they were hard to find under the sofa. They also serve Taiwanese tea (no frozen top oolong tea). The lunch set is available until 3:00 pm. The strong and sweet ginger flavor was to my liking. Although it felt like I had to leave as soon as I finished eating, the secluded location was nice. The restroom is located by going up the stairs outside the store to the left. It's quite far. The underground mall exudes a sense of history. Thank you for the meal. Takeout is available.
