I'm "Noronori," who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. I wanted to eat shabu-shabu~♪ There were things I wanted to buy, so I came to Aeon Mall in Kitahanada. I've eaten at Shabu-ya before, so I felt relieved! I remember it was delicious and fun. I wanted to eat gyutan (beef tongue), so I chose the all-you-can-eat gyutan course. It was 3,409 yen because it was the weekend rate. You can choose the broth, so I chose white broth and red miso broth with medium spiciness. There were various sauces and condiments available, so even if you're dining alone, it's fun and exciting. I want to go again! Thank you for the meal.

Shabu Leaf is a shabu-shabu restaurant located on the 4th floor of Aeon Kitakamata. It is known for offering shabu-shabu at a reasonable price. I visited during lunchtime. The buffet option costs an additional 100 yen on weekends and holidays. The price is slightly cheaper for toddlers and elementary school students. Shabu Leaf offers plenty of vegetables such as finely sliced vegetables, leeks, chives, komatsuna, bean sprouts, lotus root, daikon, and vegetable salad. They also have white rice, seaweed rice, and curry sauce. While there are not many types of broth available, there are various condiments to keep the flavors interesting. You order the meat using a tablet, and the dishes are served by AI. There are not many side dishes, which allows you to focus on enjoying the shabu-shabu, which I personally find to be a good point. Wearing a mask and gloves due to the COVID-19 situation may be a hassle, but the seating is divided and has a high back, so you don't have to worry about your surroundings. Thank you for the meal!

This time, I went to AEON Mall to buy a birthday present for my daughter and decided to eat at the restaurant area before heading home. I have been to this restaurant a few times before, but this is my first time posting on Tabelog. One difference from my previous visits is that the ordering method has changed to tablets. It's part of their COVID-19 measures. The price ranges from 1199 to 2699 yen for lunch and 1599 to 3099 yen for dinner (an additional 100 yen on weekends and holidays). There is a 100-minute time limit, but lunch on weekends and holidays is shortened to 80 minutes. You can choose from 2 types of dipping broth for the shabu-shabu. The types of broth are as follows: - White miso - Tonkotsu-style white soup - Chicken soy sauce - Hokkaido scallop and sweet shrimp soy milk - Authentic sukiyaki - Yuzu salt - Red miso stew For an additional 100 yen, you can add grated daikon to the yuzu salt broth to make a yukimi nabe broth, or make the red miso stew broth into a medicinal herb-style fire pot broth. You can order additional meat through the tablet, while vegetables, rice, sushi, and dessert are buffet style. There are so many options that it's hard to decide what to get. Dipping the meat in the broth and eating it with ponzu or sesame sauce is a blissful moment. Not only can you enjoy a variety of meats, but you can also get plenty of vegetables for a balanced nutrition. It's great to be able to eat like this at such a reasonable price. Whether it's "Karahoshi" or "Shabu-ya," the recent efforts of Skylark are commendable. Thank you for the meal~.

I returned home early in the morning and decided to have a family meal at a restaurant in Aeon Mall. After wandering around the restaurant area and changing our minds a few times, we finally settled on this place. I had actually planned to come here from the beginning. We chose the all-you-can-eat pork loin (1,699 yen + 100 yen excluding tax) with a drink bar (249 yen excluding tax). The extra 100 yen was because it was New Year's Day. We could choose between two types of broth, the basic white miso and the Hokkaido three-bean milk broth. The meat was only pork loin, but there were also vegetables, ramen, udon, salad, rice, curry, and desserts available for all-you-can-eat. Although it was slightly over budget, we used the Aeon card for the 10x points and got approval from our family's finance ministry to pay with the card.

I went to a shabu-shabu restaurant called "Shabu Leaf" in Sakai City, Kita-ku. It is part of the Skylark Group, with over 250 stores nationwide. Normally, I don't feature chain restaurants in this blog, but if there are exceptional points or good deals, I will make an exception. This time, I noticed that they added beef ribs to the menu, so I decided to try the "Beef 2 Types & Three Pork Course" for 1,699 yen plus a holiday surcharge of 100 yen. I always prefer the basic white dashi broth, as I believe it complements the meat the best. I don't need vegetables, so I only took ponzu sauce and grated daikon from the buffet corner. The first plate had pork loin, pork belly, chicken thigh, beef, and beef ribs. I quickly finished the pork and focused on the beef and beef ribs. The beef was lean and slightly tough, but the richness of the meat was satisfying. The beef ribs added the punch that the lean beef was missing, making the meal more enjoyable and worth the price. I continued to enjoy the beef and ribs, but eventually, the richness made it hard to eat a lot. However, the quality of the beef ribs improved with each refill, with beautiful marbling and juicy flavor. I also had curry udon and ponzu udon to finish off the meal. Overall, the beef had a stronger flavor, making it more satisfying, but also harder to eat in large quantities.

I visited the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant "Shabuha" in Sakai City, Kita-ku. It was the day of my annual cancer screening, so I had the day off from work. I had to fast from 10 pm the night before the screening, so I went to the screening in the morning without even drinking coffee. After about 2 hours, the screening was done, and I could finally eat something. I was looking for a good restaurant nearby to satisfy my hunger, but there weren't many options. So, I decided to take the train to a restaurant where I could eat to my heart's content, and I chose Shabuha. It was still before noon, so the restaurant was not crowded. I have been to Shabuha a few times before, but this time was on a weekday, so the prices were lower than on weekends. As an Osaka native, I usually prefer pork shabu-shabu over beef, and Shabuha offers both options. Since the weekday prices were already lower, I decided to try the Three-Element Pork Course, which includes pork shoulder and pork belly for 1399 yen. The restaurant provides the meat and broth, but other items like vegetables, condiments, and sauces are self-service. I only took ponzu sauce, green onions, and grated daikon to my table to focus on the meat. I started with the pork belly, then moved on to the pork shoulder and chicken thigh. The pork belly was rich and sweet, and I enjoyed it with the ponzu sauce and grated daikon. I had multiple servings of the pork belly and shoulder, and also tried the curry udon. I also had some chocolate sauce and crushed chocolate, followed by a soft serve ice cream and shaved ice. However, I started feeling full and couldn't eat more meat, so I ended my meal with the dessert. Despite skipping breakfast, I couldn't eat as much meat as I had expected.

There is a shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat restaurant in Aeon Mall that I have visited several times. I chose the cheapest course, but I was still satisfied with the restaurant. They offer all-you-can-eat rice dishes and desserts. Of course, I had curry as my finishing dish! It was delicious! I couldn't stop myself from topping soft serve ice cream with cornflakes and chocolate sauce. The only downside was when I asked my daughter to order hot tea at the end. The server responded with, "Can I get hot tea?" Why did they say it like that? When I confirmed the order, the server said, "Wait a moment," and disappeared into the kitchen. Why did they phrase it like that? They will obviously bring it, I thought to myself. When the server returned and asked if I had ordered from the drink bar, I said no. Then they said they couldn't bring the hot tea. What kind of place doesn't serve hot tea? I've never heard of such a thing! If I had just asked for hot tea from the beginning, I'm sure they would have brought it. I was frustrated with the kitchen's response, so I left the restaurant.

I used it for lunch on the weekend. There are all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu menus for pork and beef. Personally, I like pork shabu-shabu because it is light, so I only chose pork shabu-shabu. Vegetables are all-you-can-eat at the buffet. I particularly liked the various vegetables finely sliced. When you put these in the pot and eat them with the meat shabu-shabu, you can intake a lot of vegetables and it is very healthy. I had about three platefuls of refills (^o^;) I chose only pork loin for the meat. Adults were around 1600 yen, children were around 1000 yen, and infants were around 600 yen, I think... The meat was delicious, with no special smell or strange toughness. You can choose from two types of broth. Personally, I recommend the regular broth. There are some spicy ones, but it's better to adjust with the dipping sauce as there are spicy options there. There are also desserts like ice cream, shaved ice, and cotton candy. I think the cost performance is higher compared to other shabu-shabu restaurants. By the way, if you add beef to the menu, the price will be about 1.5 times higher. The time is 80 minutes. The whole family had a satisfying day with full stomachs (^o^)

Meat! It was a great deal for weekday lunch! Weekdays are nice... You order the meat and help yourself to the vegetables. There are many types of meat, which is fun! The vegetables can be a bit pricey depending on the season, haha. I really like those thinly sliced vegetables, so I always take a lot, haha. The dessert was also enjoyable, I made waffles! It was fun! They turned out well! This is something even kids can enjoy! I'm full! I want to go again!

I went to a shabu-shabu restaurant called "Shabuha" in Sakai City, Kita-ku. Although I usually don't feature large chain restaurants in my blog, I sometimes make exceptions when I am really impressed by the taste or find a great deal. This time, I found the deal to be amazing, so I decided to share it with you. Shabuha is a shabu-shabu restaurant under the Skylark Group, boasting 199 stores as of September 30, 2018. They offer three all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu lunch courses: Triple Pork (Loin) for 1,199 yen, Triple Pork (Belly) for the same price, and Triple Pork (Loin and Belly) for 1,399 yen. There is also a course with domestic beef and triple pork shabu-shabu for 2,699 yen. I opted for the Triple Pork (Loin) all-you-can-eat course for 1,403 yen, as it was a great deal. The restaurant provides various broths like white dashi, ginger dashi, and yuzu salt dashi. I chose the white dashi and kimchi miso dashi. The meal also includes condiments, vegetables, side dishes, and dessert. The pork slices were tender and delicious, perfect for shabu-shabu. I enjoyed the meal and found it to be a great value for the price.

I visited the shabu-shabu restaurant "Shabuha" in Sakai City, Kita-ku. Despite being a chain restaurant, the prices are very reasonable, so I decided to write about this place. In a previous article, I boasted that I could eat about 80 slices of meat, but I ended up only eating 60 slices, which left me feeling unsatisfied. I was so disappointed that I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I explained the situation to my wife and decided to go back for a rematch on the next holiday. I visited the restaurant on an empty stomach, so I ordered the "Moton Pork [Loose] Shabu-Shabu All-You-Can-Eat" for 1403 yen. Shabuha offers a choice of hot pot broth, but since I found the standard white broth with ponzu sauce to be light and satisfying last time, I stuck with that. I went to the buffet corner to get ponzu sauce, grated daikon radish, and green onions. This time, I didn't take any hot pot vegetables because I knew I had to eat at least 80 slices of meat. The meat came in plates of 4 slices each, so with five plates, I had 20 slices of meat. The meat was pork shoulder, so it was not too fatty and didn't feel heavy even towards the end. I started cooking and eating the meat. It was delicious, with a subtle sweetness and a light taste. For 1400 yen, the quality of the all-you-can-eat meat was really good. I kept eating, ordering 20 more slices each time. I surpassed my previous limit of 60 slices, but eventually slowed down. I managed to add 12 more slices to reach a total of 92 slices. Finally, I had something sweet to finish off the meal and felt satisfied. The revenge was successful, and I felt relieved, but my stomach was very full. 1400 yen for this experience was definitely worth it. Thank you for the meal.

I often go to all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurants, but the cheaper plans usually have less tasty beef. However, this place had delicious meat! The sushi was also surprisingly good. Everything besides the meat was self-service, which I liked because there were plenty of condiments and sauces to choose from. It was a great experience!

I heard that Shabuya Ion Mall Sakai Kitakatada store opened in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, so I visited it immediately. There were four adults and one child in our group, so we were able to enter smoothly on a weekday. They are currently running a promotion where the drink bar is included for free with certain courses. I ordered the Iberico pork and beef shabu-shabu course, with the basic broth already decided. You can choose the other broth as well, but if you want to choose both from the beginning, it costs an extra 100 yen. It would be better if they allowed customers to choose both from the start, as the current system seems a bit odd. The vegetables and side dishes are self-service at the buffet, while the meat is ordered and brought to your table. It's a bit of a hassle to have to go get your own vegetables, but having a buffet to reduce the number of staff is understandable. However, the buffet style is a bit different from other shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat places, and it may not be everyone's preference, especially with many children around. Since it's a new restaurant, they may still be working out the rules and procedures. The sushi all-you-can-eat option allows you to order up to 8 plates at a time, but it took a while for the orders to be fulfilled. It would be nice to have staff at the sushi counter to make the process smoother. There are many other things I could mention, but I think they are still in the process of figuring things out. I'm not sure if the drink bar includes unlimited alcohol, but they offer a variety of drinks which was surprising. They may continue to improve and provide a more seamless experience in the future. Overall, I think they are successful in creating an enjoyable dining space, and I look forward to seeing how they evolve in the future. I forgot to take a picture of the shabu-shabu, unfortunately.

I had a lot of Skylark shareholder coupons, so I decided to visit Shabuya for the first time in a while. I went around noon on Saturday, so I was able to be seated right away, but after 12 o'clock, it started to get crowded. This time, I opted for the all-you-can-eat pork and beef option. I chose white miso and sukiyaki broth. While waiting for the meat to arrive, I went to get some vegetable curry. Initially, they served a set of pork loin, pork belly, beef, and chicken. The meat was thin but there was a decent amount, and the quality was not bad. There were various vegetables available which made it easy to eat. In the end, I could only have one refill of the set as it was limited to one per person for the all-you-can-eat option. Dessert was included, so I made myself some soft-serve ice cream at the end, which was also quite delicious. I paid using Skylark shareholder coupons, a 10% paper coupon I received from a previous visit to Gusto, and the remaining amount with a Jeff Gourmet card, so it was a good deal.

Shabu-shabu restaurant Shabuya, popular among JK, has a lot of shareholder benefit tickets from Skylark, and I found out that I could use them at this restaurant which is in the same group, so I decided to try it out. I visited around noon on a Saturday, and I was able to get a seat right away, but after 12 o'clock, more customers started coming in. This was my first time here, so even though it was a bit more expensive than the weekday lunch, I opted for the all-you-can-eat pork belly. I didn't get the drink bar. For the broth, I chose the standard white broth and the Chige miso as the second option. You order the meat, but you have to get the vegetables yourself. There is a good variety of vegetables, and rice, sushi, curry, and soft serve ice cream are also all-you-can-eat. Since carb-heavy foods can be filling, I tried to focus on vegetables and meat as much as possible. The pork belly slices were thin but had a good texture. However, since it's shabu-shabu only and I'm getting older, I couldn't eat as much as I thought. Well, maybe it's more about quantity over quality, but considering the cost, the quality isn't bad, which is probably why it's so popular. I paid with a 10% discount from a Skylark newsletter, as mentioned earlier, using Skylark's shareholder benefit tickets and the remaining amount with electronic money.
