To Katsushin-san, whom I visit regularly. The food was still excellent as always. In particular, the sesame tofu with fresh sea urchin and the cream croquette with whole edamame and topped with crab meat were outstanding. The quality is top-notch and the cost performance is excellent, I am truly satisfied. Thank you very much.

There are many unique combinations of ingredients at this kushikatsu restaurant that you won't find elsewhere, which was enjoyable. However, from the perspective of wanting a sense of unity between the coating and the ingredients, it may not go beyond the realm of typical kushikatsu. The coating is not as crispy, but rather has a slightly firm texture, similar to tonkatsu. If this is a new style of kushikatsu, then it's okay. The options for dipping sauces are salt, dashi soy sauce, and sauce, but the sauce was not that great. In terms of cost performance, it is good for the current times. The salad is delicious. The price is reasonable, especially if you plan on drinking alcohol.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating 17 delicious skewers one after another at this restaurant! I used to think that creative skewers were expensive and hard to visit, but Katsushin was very welcoming and took the time to explain each skewer, making me feel comfortable. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant!

I visited this place for the first time in about 2 years. When it comes to going to a tempura restaurant, I always think the first round is the most delicious, haha. It filled up quickly in no time. The stylish atmosphere is celebrating its 7th anniversary. Great value for the money! I heard that the owner used to work at Panco Tei and Kawa to Yama, which I found very convincing in terms of creativity. The ingredients are good, and the young corn and potato with truffle butter were very delicious. The only thing is that the batter was a bit too hard...I wish it had a more fluffy texture.

I often go to a nearby kushikatsu restaurant. They have a lot of creative skewers, and everything I've tried there is really delicious. Especially the angel shrimp, firefly squid, bitter melon champuru, and the classic potato butter with truffle salt were amazing. Thank you very much.

Some of the dishes include angel shrimp, conger eel from Awaji Island with Kamo eggplant, wagyu beef skirt, young corn from Okinawa, octopus and okra, bonito, goya champuru, turban shell and maitake mushrooms, spicy cod roe, Sasuke pork, crab, golden threadfin bream with purple shiso, turban shell and myoga, lotus root, truffle butter potatoes, firefly squid with squid ink, herring roe with kelp, and shiitake mushrooms.

I had been recommended this restaurant by a friend and it had caught my interest for a while. Just looking at the a la carte menu in front of me made me really excited, and I found out that there are several courses composed of items from that menu. It's so thrilling to wonder what will come out. When the dishes arrived, my friend and I enjoyed guessing "What is this? Maybe this one?" with excitement. Before I knew it, we had enjoyed 2 bottles of white wine. It was surprising. This is definitely a restaurant I want to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was invited to go to the gourmet restaurant "Shoshin" in Kitahorie and had the "Service Shou Course" ★ Salad - Angel's Puffer Fish and Matsutake Mushroom - Saga Beef Ichibo - Ginkgo and Naruto Kintoki Sweet Potatoes - Iburi Gakko with Tartar Sauce - Cold Yellowtail with Daikon Radish - Kujo Green Onions and Mozzarella Cheese - Tsukune (chicken meatballs) - Button Shrimp and Sesame Tofu - Truffle Butter Potatoes - Clam Chowder with Scallop and Broccoli - Spear Squid and Sprout Cabbage - Koji-pickled Sea Bream with Nozawana and Sea Bream Dashi Chazuke - Mashed Peach Soda - HEARTLAND Original Skewers Despite being a one-person operation, the timing of the dishes coming out was great, and the dishes were hot and delicious. Each bite was enjoyable with different flavors. It's very reasonably priced, delicious, and seems to be quite popular as the reservation seats were full on that day! I definitely want to go back to eat here again.

I went to a kushikatsu restaurant in Horie that was said to be delicious. The owner seemed to have worked at WASABI in Hozenji, and had a strong creative spirit. The taste of the batter, which is the base of kushikatsu, was average at first. If this improves, the restaurant could become delicious no matter what is fried, but it's not easy to come across. The combination of ingredients was well thought out, and on this day, there was sea bream with daikon, crab and kiss fish wrapped in mitsuba, and tandoori chicken with curry, all showing plenty of originality. Overall, the kushikatsu provided was satisfying and had good value for money. There may be a lot of young people, which may not be a concern, but the creativity and seasonal feel go hand in hand, so if something out of season is served, it's hard to get excited.

I made a reservation and visited the popular kushikatsu restaurant Katsushin in Horie. Surprisingly, smoking is allowed! I asked for the recommended course. There were many unique dishes and I was excited to see what would come next. The eel was delicious♡ The glass of champagne went down smoothly. Thank you for the meal.

Nostalgic area. I remembered there used to be a company around here as I walked a bit before entering. It's a small tempura skewer restaurant. The owner is running the place by himself. The service is great, with perfect timing for getting the tempura. I ordered the recommended service course for 2900 yen, which includes 12 tempura skewers. Of course, there are also plenty of a la carte options. While waiting for another person, I started with a beer and eggplant water. Once we were all together, the course started. First, a salad. Then, of course, shrimp tempura. From there, more and more tempura skewers kept coming, but honestly, I can't remember them all and tempura doesn't look the same in photos. There was a round ball that seemed like croquette with truffle inside. There was also a skewer topped with salmon roe. In the end, with delicious sake and not too greasy tempura, I was completely satisfied with this restaurant. I realized I need to start taking notes on what I eat at tempura restaurants from now on.

I found a hidden gem of a restaurant (^o^)! They serve creative skewers and offer a great selection of sake. The beer and sake go down smoothly. The curry, aside from the fried dishes, is also delicious! They even have a tempting late-night meal set on the menu. I'll have to try it next time. Thank you for the recommendation! I revisited a trendy and delicious restaurant in the area recommended by an old friend. This place seems to be quite popular and reservations are hard to come by. The reason for its popularity is the reasonably priced creative deep-fried skewers. This time, I had only the recommended and delicious items deep-fried for me, about 10 skewers. The deep-fried saury with ginger was delicious, and the juicy mackerel with crispy ginger was irresistible! We also opened a bottle of wine and finished with a rice bowl topped with plenty of seaweed. All this for only 5000 yen! It was a great time with my old friend, and time flew by quickly. I will definitely come back again! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I've been going there for about 3 or 4 years now! Every skewer I try is absolutely delicious! The combination of ingredients is skillfully done and always tasty. The menu changes with the seasons, so it's always exciting to visit! The food is so delicious that it makes me feel happy while eating! I'm not a big fan of fried food and can't eat a lot of it, but the skewers here don't give me heartburn no matter how many I eat! You can go alone or introduce this delicious skewer restaurant to your friends! It's affordable even if you eat a lot by yourself, and it's unfair how every skewer is so impressive... Personally, the final dish of Tamago Kake Gohan (raw egg over rice) is a must-try, no matter how full you are, I always eat it as a finishing touch! The chef is a bit shy and quiet, but he sometimes strikes up a conversation which is just right! I've taken many people there and they all love it. I highly recommend you to try it and I guarantee you will love the taste!!!
