I visited on a Saturday night. I didn't have a reservation, but they had a few seats available and seated us right away. I ordered motsunabe and a few other dishes. It had been a while since I last visited, but when I tried the food, the garlic flavor was strong and it was incredibly delicious! The soup alone was so good that I wanted to take some home. The side dishes like steak and yam sticks were also delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I usually always have the most popular miso flavor, but this time I tried the soy sauce flavor for the first time. Wow, it was delicious! Just like the miso flavor, the soy sauce flavor is also tasty. Yamamoto-san never disappoints! And the domestically produced makgeolli made by a sake brewery in Yamagata is also delicious, making it the best. I was hesitant to go to Kyobashi because of the typhoon, but it was definitely the right decision to go. I visited Yama Hon for the first time, a little away from Kyobashi Station. It's about a 7-minute walk. Inside the store, there are rows of autographs from sports players. Both the owner and his father have been involved in sports. The awaited motsu nabe was delicious with a strong garlic flavor! The beef tataki was also excellent! (This is the best dish) I ate too much. The owner, with a well-trained physique and a large body, was very friendly and easy to talk to. I definitely want to go back to this place!

The garlic-infused motsunabe was so addictive. The restaurant was filled with the delicious smell of garlic. The beef tataki is a must-try. I ordered the recommended miso-flavored motsunabe. They also provide extra garlic on the table. I couldn't resist adding more garlic. I will definitely come back.

It's still cold, so I decided to have motsunabe! I walked a little from Kyobashi Station to this place. The restaurant is quite spacious, with various people's signatures displayed. The appetizer is strips of yam with a raw egg yolk on top. They instruct you to mix it with soy sauce before eating. It's a nice palate cleanser for the rich motsunabe. - Beef tataki -> It said it has a 90% order rate, so I had to try it. It's served with plenty of green onions and garlic. The garlic flavor bursts in your mouth with each bite. There were some tough parts that felt like tendons, but overall it was tender. The slightly crispy surface was delicious. - Motsunabe (miso flavor) -> I prefer miso motsunabe. The soup had a sweet undertone to the miso, which I really liked. The soup alone was so good! There was plenty of motsu in it. The thin slices of burdock added a strong aroma to the dish. For the finale, I chose Chinese noodles. I always wonder what it would be like to have porridge as the finishing dish for motsunabe. I've never tried it, so it's unknown to me. The Chinese noodles were thick and broke easily when bitten. I wish they had more chewiness. It felt like cheap udon texture.

I visited to try the motsunabe, a specialty of the restaurant. I ordered the beef tataki and motsunabe in soy sauce flavor. The beef tataki was delicious! The rare meat with garlic-infused sauce was a perfect match. As for the motsunabe, the miso flavor is recommended, but I chose soy sauce as it seemed better as a side dish for alcohol. The broth had a strong punch, and the motsu was not smelly, with plenty of sweetness. The champon noodles at the end absorbed all the flavors from the pot and were exquisite! It was delicious! It's a bit far from Kyobashi Station, but they serve delicious motsunabe! The garlic flavor is strong. They offer motsunabe in miso and soy sauce flavors, and the menu is not very extensive. I recommend the meat tataki! It is also full of garlic. I forgot to take a photo. There is no smell of motsu, and it's not too oily as the fat is removed. I love motsunabe, but some places have a strong smell or are too greasy, which I can't eat. My stomach hurts right away... For the finishing touch, they have udon, ramen, rice, and more, but I haven't been able to try them all yet... My favorite is the ramen.

The restaurant is run by a couple who used to be high school baseball players. I'll say it clearly. It's incredibly delicious! It's so addictive that I crave it occasionally. However, the next day, the smell is quite strong... (laughs) When visiting, it's recommended to bring a garbage bag or something to prevent the smell from sticking to your clothes or bags. "Seeing is believing."

The beef tripe hot pot here is seriously delicious! Yama Moto, a beef tripe specialty restaurant in Kyobashi, where even fans of Hakata beef tripe hot pot can be fully satisfied. It was my first visit in a while, and I was glad to see the owner, as well as his fiancée who used to be a flight attendant, now married with a child. We made a reservation the day before for a Saturday night. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the smell of garlic stimulated our appetite. We ordered two portions of motsunabe (offal hot pot), beef tataki with vinegar, motsu (offal), homemade pickles, grated yam sticks, and champon noodles, totaling 8,500 yen. The beef tataki was topped with plenty of grated garlic. The motsu, pickles, and yam sticks were light and well-balanced. The motsu in the hot pot was tender and delicious. The champon noodles were a must for the finale. The dessert looked tempting, but we were already full. It would be great if they offered half-size options for light eaters like us. The restaurant was bustling and the menu was easy to navigate. If we crave garlic-infused motsunabe again, we will definitely return. Thank you for the meal.

This is what they mean by a taste that becomes addictive. This time, I chose "miso" just like last time. They say the "soy sauce" is also delicious. The tataki, kimchi, and grilled hormone are all excellent, and the beer keeps flowing. It seems less crowded on weekdays compared to weekends.

I finished work for the year and had a year-end party with my colleagues at a restaurant they had reserved. It was my first time visiting this place. Even though it was only 5:30 in the evening, the restaurant was already full, so we had to wait outside until our table was ready. While waiting, the strong smell of garlic wafted out from inside, making me hungry. When our time came, we finally entered the restaurant, and the smell of garlic inside was no joke! Since we had made a reservation, our food came out quickly. We started with vinegar tripe and beef tataki, both loaded with garlic and incredibly delicious. There were also strips of yam served in abundance for some reason. The motsunabe (offal hot pot) came in two flavors, miso and soy sauce, and was brought to us already cooked. When I tried a bite, the rich soup with an overwhelming amount of garlic paired perfectly with the tender offal, making the alcohol go down smoothly. For the finish, we had ramen to fill our stomachs. However, our breath and clothes smelled strongly of garlic the next day, so it's better not to wear your favorite clothes when you go there! (lol)

I can't believe there is a shop like this! The soup that combines garlic and miso is truly deserving of the name "strongest". I enjoyed it heartily with beer or makgeolli in hand, without worrying about the smell. It's a bit concerning that there is no partition during the pandemic, but I think it's fine with the power of alcohol, garlic, and motsu!

Yesterday, I ate too much with kushikatsu, yakiniku, and motsunabe all by myself. Actually, I love motsunabe so much that before the pandemic, I would go all the way to Hakata just to stay overnight and eat motsunabe. If asked to choose 5 delicious motsunabe restaurants in Hakata, this place would definitely be on the list. I have experienced at least 3 shops that are at the same level or higher, but the taste here is exceptional. Moreover, the owner's fiancée is an active flight attendant, so the service surpasses even the top restaurants in Hakata. I no longer need to pay a high Shinkansen fare to go to Hakata just to find a better restaurant. I have discovered a restaurant in Kyobashi that surpasses Hakata's best. It's a calculation of how much money and time I've saved before I die. That's how impressive this restaurant is! Please be aware that this popular motsunabe restaurant in Kobe has a sister shop where you can only eat if they are not closed the next day. - The appetizer includes plenty of sliced yam, egg yolk, wasabi, and soy sauce. - The famous beef tataki is satisfying on its own, with a sweet soy sauce dressing and plenty of garlic. - For motsunabe, you can choose from soy sauce, miso, and shabu-shabu flavors. The most intense flavor is the miso with plenty of garlic, and the motsu is chewy. - Finish off with champon (Chinese noodles).

On this day, after work, I went to eat motsunabe with my colleagues at a restaurant called "Gyuu Motsu Nabe Senmonten Yamamoto Kyobashi Store" in Kyobashi, Osaka. I made a reservation in advance for a course meal with all-you-can-drink (120 minutes) by phone. We started with a cheers with a glass of draft beer - "Cheers for your hard work!" A drink after work is the best! The course included "beef tataki" and "vinegar motsu". The beef tataki was very voluminous and meaty, but delicious! The main dish, "motsunabe", allowed us to choose from three types of broth - miso, soy sauce, and shabu-shabu, with miso being recommended. So, we went with the miso broth! The motsunabe seemed to be about 3-4 servings. The motsu pieces were very large and chewy, with a sweet taste and excellent compatibility with the miso broth! There was also a good amount of garlic in it, giving it a punch. It was addictive, and we ended up drinking quite a bit of alcohol (laughs). We finished with champon noodles. There were PL Gakuen uniforms displayed on the walls of the restaurant. Is this place related to baseball enthusiasts...? I will definitely go back to eat again. Thank you for the meal!

While talking about beauty, I enjoyed a delicious motsunabe hot pot. I was surprised when a regular face pack seemed to generate static electricity and light up a light bulb. Maybe I should try getting some plastic surgery on my face like a certain someone (lol). The motsunabe here was surprisingly comparable to my favorite Yamachuu in Hakata. The beef tataki was also incredibly delicious, and the staff not only were kind and polite but also seemed to understand my body shape and cleverly allowed us to have two drinks each with the all-you-can-drink option, which was a lifesaver. The taste was amazing! The restaurant was clean and spacious! The staff was fantastic! The prices were reasonable. I was craving for motsunabe, so I decided to come to this place with high ratings. I'm not familiar with baseball, so I didn't really understand, but it seems like some baseball player is associated with this place because there were uniforms displayed. The motsu was plentiful and the garlic-infused hot pot was delicious. However, it felt pretty average to me. I would be willing to go back if I had the chance, but it's not a must-visit place for me.

We went as a couple after work ( ´∀`) It's been a while since I had motsunabe! I didn't realize how chewy motsu could be. The ingredients simmered in the pot were delicious! And the mentaiko rice balls were amazing too! I want to go back again!

On a holiday, four of us visited the first restaurant together. It had been three years since my last visit. On this night, the four of us enjoyed dishes such as yam and potato moon-viewing strips, homemade pickled radish, beef tataki, assorted kimchi, two servings of miso hot pot with motsu, and udon. For dessert, we had a bite-sized black sesame and kinako ice cream. The aroma of the motsu hot pot filled the air all the way outside the restaurant, stimulating our appetites. The miso-flavored motsu hot pot, with a strong garlic taste, was delicious. We all felt satisfied with our meal. We had drinks ranging from plenty of premium malt beer to chu-hai with lime. Afterward, we went to another place, mainly for drinks.
