I knew there was a takeout-only yakitori restaurant and I had been thinking of trying it someday. That day turned out to be today. I remember my family saying they were going to a beauty salon and then to an esthetician, so they would be coming back late. I don't see the point in going to an esthetician, it's just a waste of money. After going to a super sento, I decided to stop by and buy some yakitori. The location is in Rikimu, Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture, facing the road. I arrived around 4 pm on a weekday. All yakitori was priced at 88 yen each, excluding tax. You just write the quantity on an order form. I ordered 3 pork belly skewers, 2 gizzard skewers, 2 bonjiri skewers, 2 heart skewers, and 4 enoki mushroom wrapped skewers with salt seasoning. I also ordered 3 chicken skin skewers with sauce seasoning. I ordered a total of 16 skewers, which I thought would be enough. The owner, a man in his 50s, and his wife, who I could see in the back of the shop, took the ingredients from the case, grilled them, and gave me a buzzer to wait in the car. I glanced at the case and saw that all the ingredients were fresh, they didn't pre-cook anything. After about 10 minutes, the buzzer rang, I exchanged the money and received the food to take home. It was evening by then, and the instructions said not to heat it in the microwave, but to lightly grill it in the oven for a crispy and delicious taste. The seasoning was just right, especially the salt seasoning. The sauce on the chicken skin skewers was sweet and delicious. I was satisfied with the size of the skewers for the price, but I wish the enoki mushroom skewers were a bit bigger, maybe at least 3 pieces per skewer.
