I visited for lunch on a holiday. The interior of the restaurant is small with only five tables. I didn't try the omurice, but it looked like chicken rice inside. I ordered the pork belly-style pork belly lunch set B. It comes with salad and soup. Set A also includes a drink. There was also a set that comes with a parfait. The photo may not look very appetizing with the fatty appearance, but it is actually delicious. The pork belly is so tender that it can be cut with chopsticks, and the eggplant tempura at the bottom is soaked in the sauce and tasty. It may be a bit pricey for a university student lunch when the total exceeds 1,000 yen with a set, especially near Kurume University, but the atmosphere is nice and it's good for an occasional treat.

It's great that the restaurant is close to the school! I went there with my friends for lunch. We had a fluffy omelette rice that looked delicious! It was a generous portion and very tasty. My friend also told me that the parfait is delicious, so I want to go back and try it next time!

I won't go into the details of how I ended up in Kurume, but I came here for lunch (^^) At first, I couldn't find the parking lot and accidentally parked in front of a private house, so I quickly moved. There was a parking lot for about 4 cars in front of the apartment on the right side of the restaurant. It faces a prefectural road (?) so it may be a bit difficult to park when there is a lot of traffic. Four of us entered, and three ordered just the omelette rice, while I ordered the simmered pork belly in a stew-like sauce. This place seems to serve salad and soup as the main dishes, as they were brought out together on a tray after a while. First, the omelette rice. It has quite an impact. It's a fluffy egg hat-shaped omelette, isn't it? The combination of the egg and demi-glace sauce is irresistible! However, the ladies found the ketchup rice a bit tough to finish at the end, so they passed it to me to eat (lol) I quite like it. However, because it's demi-glace, personally, I prefer it to have butter rice inside, or be slightly Japanese-style. I thought the simmered pork belly was slightly hidden behind the famous omelette rice, but to my surprise, it was delicious! Under the tender pork belly, there were two slices of eggplant tempura. These were soaked in a sweet soy-based broth. There's no way it wouldn't be delicious! I finished it in no time (lol) It's close to Kurume University, so there were college students having what looked like a girls' night out. Despite being so close, it seemed to be away from the hustle and bustle of the university, making it perfect for a girls' night out or a date! Thank you for the meal (^^ゞ

I searched and came here after eating Udon at Kurume-so. The rating was okay, but the reviews were really good, so I decided to come. It's rare to find a cafe that stays open late. It's run by a couple, and it seems like the husband cooks alone. Today, I only had dessert. There were only two seasonal chestnuts left, so we played rock-paper-scissors. I lost, so I got the blueberry yogurt. Baked apple with ice cream, also delicious. The parfait, everything was delicious. The sauce and the ice cream too. I enjoyed every bite until the last one. I will definitely go back. Last time I went, it was their regular holiday.

Recently, my wife has been exercising her "veto power" over ramen, so naturally we find ourselves gravitating towards Western-style restaurants (laughs). I'm not sure how long this place has been around, but it's my first visit. I heard that their omurice is delicious, so I'm excited to try it out (laughs). I ordered the "half-cooked egg omurice lunch set for 820 yen." The set comes with soup, salad, and a drink. I chose hot coffee for my drink. Now, let's see the chef's skills in action. When I dug my spoon into the main dish of omurice, I found chicken rice inside. Well, I wasn't expecting much from the chicken rice, so it's just average (laughs). The issue is with the "omu" and "demi." The omu is a bit lacking in egg... I wish there was one more egg. It's a shame... it would have been perfect with one more egg, giving it a more creamy texture and perfect half-cooked feel. The center, which is easy to overcook, feels like "thinly cooked egg." Creamy omurice requires great skill, but the real skill is needed when there's less egg. So, the chef here clearly has great skill. It's just a matter of whether they will use one more egg... It's all about perspective, you can think of it as advertising costs. However, most other places also have omurice with "one less egg." Reality can be tough sometimes. Let's leave the omu discussion at this and move on to the demi. The demi-glace sauce leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. It's not bad, but it's not particularly tasty either. Overall, it's like "just your average omurice." If you think of it as cafe food, it's "delicious," but if you think of it as a Western-style restaurant, it's like "hmm... just average." In conclusion, that's the feeling I got from it. It was a relief that it was non-smoking though (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

I went to a cafe on the street of the Imoi Campus at Kurume University! It was around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and on a weekday. I was wondering if I could still have lunch, but I decided to go in. There was a couple eating a parfait and some families with children. When I looked at the menu, there were not many options, but they did have rice dishes! So, I ordered an omurice and a matcha parfait. The omurice had plenty of demi-glace sauce and a very runny egg on top, which was very appealing. Inside the omurice was chicken rice, and the combination was excellent. Personally, I thought the demi-glace sauce was a bit thin. Also, the egg was too runny. The smell of the egg was quite strong. Maybe if the demi-glace sauce was richer, it could have covered it up. But visually, it was perfect! The parfait felt a bit simple. It was interesting to have rice crackers in it. It would have been better if the price was a bit cheaper. I don't think the parfait was worth the price.

I had the omurice for 780 yen and the daily pasta lunch for 800 yen. Today's pasta was made with mushrooms and mentaiko. The lunch came with soup, a mini salad, and a choice of juice or mini soft serve ice cream. The omurice had demi-glace sauce, but I found the sauce to be a bit thin for my taste. The pasta seemed to have too much garlic, overpowering the mentaiko flavor. I'm not a fan of garlic, but surprisingly, my 3rd-grade child enjoyed it. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a small interior.

A friend told me about a delicious Italian restaurant, so I went to check it out. I didn't catch the name, just the general location near Minami-machi Nagasawa Dental Clinic. After missing the sign and circling back, I parked in the spacious parking lot next to the restaurant. I ordered the omurice and parfait lunch set for 980 yen, with matcha and red bean parfait. The omurice was served with pumpkin soup and salad, and it looked delicious with its rich demi-glace sauce and half-cooked egg. The inside was chicken and ketchup flavored rice which tasted great when mixed with the sauce. The pumpkin soup had a light flavor. The parfait dessert was served with soft serve ice cream, matcha ice cream, red beans, and crispy rice crackers at the bottom. The matcha flavor was strong and paired well with the soft ice cream and crunchy rice crackers. The friendly owner chatted with us, although we didn't get to speak with the chef. Overall, it was a cozy and nice little restaurant.

The owner chef used to work at a large Italian restaurant in the center of Kurume with many parfait options, but now runs this relaxing space with his wife. The seating is spacious, so even when it's full, you can relax and enjoy your meal. I ordered the half-cooked egg omelette rice lunch, which was beautifully presented and a feast for the eyes. I enjoyed the hot soup and gentle salad dressing while admiring the view. There is plenty of parking space, so you can drive there.

On April 1, 2011, I visited a restaurant in Kurume City at night. Here is a brief introduction of the menu: - Omurice with half-cooked egg (700 yen) - Pizza with minced beef and mushrooms (780 yen) - Hamburg with Japone sauce (750 yen for single, 1000 yen for set) - Salmon with cream sauce (750 yen) - Cappuccino parfait with coffee jelly (520 yen) - Black sesame and white dumpling parfait (630 yen) - Cassis gelato parfait (600 yen) For dinner, I had the Mushroom and Shrimp Doria (780 yen), which had a nice crunchy texture from the mushrooms and three shrimp. The Mango and Yogurt parfait (520 yen) had a layer of peach and pineapple at the bottom, topped with rice cereal which added a nice crunch. The yogurt was not too heavy, making it a pleasant dessert. I also mentioned a previous lunch visit where I ordered the daily lunch special, which included Chicken Grill and Shrimp Herb Breadcrumb Bake. There was a discrepancy in pricing between the lunch sets with a drink or mini soft serve and the same meal with a parfait upgrade. Overall, the restaurant had a good atmosphere, and the service was decent. The Chicken Saute was juicy and tender, although the Shrimp Herb Breadcrumb Bake was a bit difficult to eat. The highlight was the Strawberry Yogurt parfait, which was surprisingly delicious with layers of strawberry and yogurt ice cream, and crispy cereal. Overall, the experience was enjoyable with good value for money.

I have been visiting this place often and the lunch here is just amazing. The salad dressing is so delicious that even though I usually don't like raw vegetables, I would make a meal out of the salad with this dressing. The soup is also made with seasonal vegetables and has a refined flavor. I usually go for the daily lunch special, which always comes with a little bit of meat and fish. The side vegetables are beautifully arranged and, of course, delicious. After the meal, you can choose between a drink or a mini dessert. In addition to the daily lunch specials, they also offer pasta and omurice lunches. My kids are big fans of the omurice here. The dessert selection is also great, so I always have a hard time deciding what to have. Highly recommended.

The request was for delicious omurice, so I chose Cafe Mo.Cre, a place I was visiting for the first time but had heard good things about their omurice. I had trouble finding the parking lot and had to drive past the restaurant at first. Once I found a spot to park, I saw a sign on the door directing me to the parking area, which only had space for about 4-5 cars. After parking, I went to the restaurant but there were no available tables, so I had to wait for about 4-5 minutes on a bench outside. Finally, I got a table and saw that the menu offered a choice between a regular lunch and a version that came with a parfait. My partner ordered the omurice with half-cooked egg, so I decided to try something different - the pork belly lunch with a parfait. As expected, the omurice received high praise. The pork belly lunch, however, was also impressive. It came on a plate with a Japanese-style broth, eggplant tempura, and tender pork belly that could easily be separated with chopsticks. It was soft and flavorful, complementing the rice well. The meal also came with cup soup and salad, along with the parfait, all for 1,150 yen. I felt that the parfait could have been a bit more creative, but overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

I went to lunch with a friend. There were regular lunch options and parfait lunch options. We ordered the omelette rice lunch from the parfait menu, which cost 980 yen. Many other people were also eating this dish. The half-cooked omelette rice was topped with demi-glace sauce. It came with salad, pumpkin soup, and a parfait for dessert. The parfait had about 4 different flavors to choose from. It was a satisfying dessert for a lunch set. It had been a few years since I last had omelette rice. As I ate it, I thought about how delicious it was. Other lunch options included daily specials like pork and salmon dishes, daily pasta specials like bacon and mushroom pasta, beef curry lunch, and braised pork belly dish. The menu was not extensive. Thank you for the meal.
