Renovated accommodation in an old residence in Yame. The main building used to be a sake brewery. The accommodation I stayed in was renovated from a tea house. It's a bit of a walk from the main building, but walking around the town is enjoyable. Dinner was at the restaurant in the main building. It was a bit pricey, but the ingredients were good and the cooking and presentation were well done. There are many menu items that use tea, which is typical of Yame. However, when visiting Yame, I tend to consume more caffeine by having tea soba for lunch or at cafes, which can lead to shallow sleep. The service is friendly and they are trying their best. It's a nice place to stay. I would like to visit again.
