hasshydeshita
After having two bowls of ramen, I finished shopping and bathing, and then went to my younger sister's house in Hassamu. There, I received a stamp on the documents related to the hospitalization, and then ended up chatting with my sister for a while, so I ended up leaving Hassamu close to 6 pm. We decided to have dinner before heading home, so I took my sister and my nephew (in 8th grade) to Tokuya-san. There were quite a few customers, so the booths were all taken, and the three of us sat at the counter. The order was a set meal for my nephew, tempura bowl for my sister, and I chose the tempura bowl with kakiage. Since there were mostly set meals, it was my first time trying a tempura bowl. My nephew's set meal arrived first, and he dug into the tempura, salted fish roe, and the free refill kimchi, finishing the first bowl of rice and moving on to the second. By the time he was on his second bowl of rice, our tempura bowl group also arrived. The owner, who was frying the tempura in front of us, poured the tempura sauce over the tempura bowl in a performance, and I started eating, thinking "it's a bit much..." It was quite a lot. Although the fried food was stronger than my preference, it seemed to be balanced out by the tempura sauce. The sauce was slightly sweet, not too sweet, and surprisingly easy to eat. The fried food may have been a bit too strong, but the pumpkin and shrimp tempura were delicious enough, and it could be a little weaker. The side dishes were excellent, with miso soup, kimchi, and most importantly, the salted fish roe was delicious! It was so good that I think it could be called a salted fish roe set meal (with kakiage) (laughs). By the time we finished our meal, my nephew had finished his third bowl and seemed to want another, but I gave the order to "not eat too much and go home to study," and we left the restaurant. In the end, I arrived home around 11 pm that day. The next day, I had to prepare for an event in the morning, so I went to bed early.
