A night ice cream specialty store called "Mayonaka Bokujou" has opened in Ryogoku, Yokozuna Yokocho in August 2023. It is the second store of the night ice cream specialty store in Oshiage. The store offers a variety of menu items starting from 680 yen, with a 50 yen discount if you add them as a LINE friend. I tried the new item "Minna Sukina Yatsu (780 yen)", which is a chocolate and banana combination with colorful sprinkles and a crispy waffle on top. The store has a cozy atmosphere with small benches and tables. The ice cream was delicious with a perfect balance of sweetness from the chocolate and banana. The night ice cream trend seems to be popular among women who crave ice cream late at night. It is said that this craving is due to a lack of iron in the body, causing a drop in blood oxygen levels and a desire to eat ice cream to cool down and improve blood circulation.

I visited the newly opened late-night ice cream specialty shop, Mayonaka Bokujou, in Ryogoku. I tried the Mont Blanc flavor this time, which cost 760 yen. It was served in a cup with a Mont Blanc on top. The soft serve ice cream had a rich flavor but was light and easy to eat. With a variety of options available, I look forward to trying the Chocolate Brownie with chocolate sauce next time. They also have seasonal limited edition items like peach, so you can enjoy different flavors each visit. I went in the evening this time, but they are open until midnight, making it a great option after drinks or dinner.
