Draft beer (medium) 380 yen, Mega Highball 600 yen, Plain Chu-hai 320 yen, etc. Edamame, special dote-yaki, pork tempura with salt sauce, and assorted fried skewers (beef, pork, shiitake mushroom, kisu fish, pickled ginger, pork mille-feuille, squid, pork belly, yam with wasabi, etc.) Octopus with wasabi. Compared to Fukuoka's restaurants, this Osaka chain offers very affordable and cost-effective alcohol options. There is an additional charge for extra strong highballs. The menu is very diverse, with plenty of options other than fried skewers. The restaurant has a non-smoking area in the front and a smoking area in the back section.

When I was in Osaka, I used to occasionally visit this izakaya specializing in kushikatsu. The atmosphere is very Osaka-like, with a casual pub feel. The Osaka salarymen there would entertain us with funny Kansai dialect conversations, which made me feel nostalgic. The kushikatsu has a thin coating typical of Kansai-style kushikatsu, so you can eat as much as you want without getting heartburn. The cost performance is good, and the service is incredibly fast, so the turnover is also quite quick.

I had the sirloin steak set meal and the cost performance was amazing. I could eat it for 880 yen. They also have tonkatsu set meal, katsu curry, and rice bowl dishes, so the variety is quite rich. Moreover, you can get free rice refills with set meals! There are separate smoking and non-smoking areas in the restaurant, so it might be an oasis for smokers (lol).

I ended up having a daytime drink in Nakasu Kawabata, Fukuoka, and casually walked into a shop located in the middle of Nakasu Kawabata shopping street. It was past 3 pm, but there were quite a few customers, and the place was almost full. I was surprised to see so many people drinking during the day, including solo customers and groups. I sat at a table towards the back of the shop. Starting from a daytime drink set at 750 yen, I enjoyed the drinks, including a 500ml bottle of sweet potato shochu for single consumption as bottle keep was not available. The drinks were delicious and enjoyable, and before I knew it, a considerable amount of time had passed.

After finishing work! At Kamikawabata "Osaka Manmaru" I had a stressful event job in the Kamikawabata area for a long time and it finally ended around 4:00 pm. I hadn't eaten lunch yet, so I decided to go to "Osaka Manmaru" in the shopping district that was open at this time. I had a draft beer and tuna sashimi for 580 yen, and of course, doteyaki for 430 yen. Ah, it's so satisfying - the strong flavor is just what my tired body needed. Since it was still happy hour, I also had a lemon sour for 170 yen. No cover charge, and the total bill was 1530 yen. It's really cheap here.

I recently went to a popular kushikatsu chain restaurant called Manmaru, located 192 meters from Nakanoshima Kawabata Station in Osaka. The restaurant had separate smoking and non-smoking sections, which is rare these days. The kushikatsu was delicious and reasonably priced, but the other menu items were not very impressive. In particular, the sushi was cheap, but not worth trying. This place is a casual izakaya with a decent variety of menu options. The staff were unfriendly and lacked good customer service. While it's understandable for a casual izakaya to not be perfect, there's no need to make customers feel unwelcome. Just being polite would be sufficient.

Shaking in fear from the intensity of the second place, I sought refuge here. The saltiness there was intense. I decided to go for the one-coin set - edamame, cheese, and highball for 500 yen. Phew, the edamame had just the right amount of salt! I felt oddly happy. The skewers included snow-viewing daifuku, ham cutlet, and mochi. The waitress was a bit careless, but that's nothing compared to the saltiness over there. (laughs) Oh well, the snow-viewing daifuku doesn't really match, but that's okay. Just regular skewers. Good. I realize I've been a bit stingy today with three places. Time to head straight home, not too drunk.

Osaka Eat Factory group's chain izakaya in Fukuoka❗️ A place where you can feel Osaka vibes and enjoy drinking from daytime❗️ The menu is all reasonably priced❗️ Sushi, sashimi, kushikatsu, and various other dishes are available^_^❗️ As someone from Osaka, whenever I miss Osaka, I crave Osaka food, so I ended up having a daytime drink at this izakaya(^.^)❗️ Kushikatsu with pickled ginger, surume (dried squid) tempura - these are unique Osaka dishes, so I'm happy to find a place in Fukuoka that serves them(*^_^*)‼️ I also tried the tebasaki (chicken wings) which I love, and they were delicious(*^o^*) I was surprised that a glass of wine is only 299 yen(^｡^) The smoking area is separated, with a separate room for smoking where the door is closed‼️ This way, non-smoking customers don't have to worry about cigarette smoke, making it comfortable for everyone‼️

Continuing from yesterday, I went with the gyoza set meal again. I feel like I lost this time haha. It's not bad, but the cost performance of 8 pieces for 748 yen seems a bit off. Compared to yesterday's Bamiyan, it's not as good. Well, at least the rice refill is free, so I'm full now. Thank you for the meal.

I almost became a lunch refugee lol. I found a place in Kawabata Shotengai that offers various set meals. They have fried chicken, pork cutlet, salted mackerel, and more. I ordered the chicken nanban set meal and it arrived in about 10 minutes. I took a bite immediately. Delicious!!! Yes. The small pieces of fried chicken were about 7-8 pieces. Thank you for the meal.

The time from ordering to the arrival of the dishes is very short and stress-free when dining with two people. There is a smoking area in the back. The menu includes edamame, vinegar-motsu, kampachi sashimi, assorted skewers, tonkatsu, pork kimchi stir-fry, tomato slices, wiener platter, and more. You can also keep a bottle of shochu.

It was delicious. Also, it was cheap.
