I love the sweets from the popular Western confectionery shop "Chateraise." At the hotel's buffet for breakfast and dinner, you can enjoy Chateraise products. The dining area is spacious and creates an open atmosphere. The buffet offers a variety of food options that will please all generations, making it a family-friendly option.

I used the lunch buffet and hot springs. There were a decent variety of dishes such as freshly made omelette rice, sushi, soup curry, Western food, and Chinese food. However, I wish there were more dessert options other than baked goods, yogurt, and ice cream, such as mini cakes.

When choosing a hotel for the Hokkaido resident discount, look for one with a pool and a buffet. Priority for children. The buffet at Chateraise is full of delicious cakes. But be careful not to get too much food and not make it to dessert.

The hotel stay was 6,040 yen for a single room with two meals included after using about 300 points and a 2,000 yen coupon. The actual cost was 4,040 yen! The hotel facilities were satisfactory, but the breakfast quality was lacking. There were not many menu options that made you want to eat in the morning, except for the tarako. The milk-based dishes were still there, and the reviewer did not try them due to the smell. The reviewer hoped for some changes in the menu but found that it was mostly the same as the last visit. The reviewer enjoyed the salad with wasabi dressing and the stir-fried deer meat and bean sprouts. The reviewer also recommended trying the white miso soup with seaweed. Check-in was smooth, and guests could access the hot spring and pool from 1:00 pm. The reviewer enjoyed the pool, hot spring, and sauna before checking out at 10:00 am. Upgrading to a twin room made the stay comfortable. Overall, the reviewer was satisfied with the stay and would visit again because of the proximity to Otaru and the enjoyable pool.

I had breakfast at Gatokin this morning, haha. It was a typical hotel breakfast, nothing really special. The omelette was tasty though. The variety of desserts was impressive, as expected from Chateraise. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth, but I'm not a fan of having cake in the morning, so I passed on that. Sorry for not having any photos. Thanks for the meal, I'll come back again, haha.

I want to stay somewhere. Where should I stay? As I was browsing the reservation site, I found a 2,000 yen coupon for Gatokin. With the coupon, I could get breakfast included for 5,000 yen! So, I decided to go. First, let's talk about the disappointing breakfast buffet. The buffet was held at a restaurant called Vinyu in the same hotel. The breakfast buffet was from 7:00 to 10:00, and you could come at any time. The atmosphere was nice with a high ceiling. However, the buffet selection was quite limited. If I had paid 2,000 yen for breakfast without the coupon, I would have regretted it. The main dishes were deer meat stir-fried with bean sprouts, sausages, bacon, mackerel, and salmon. There was also a strange dish called scallop, milk, and butter risotto, which was not appetizing. The curry was made with soybeans instead of beef or chicken. There was also a self-serve udon station, but the noodles were frozen and messy. On the positive side, there were plenty of sweets and yogurt, which may appeal to female guests. The drink corner had a basic selection of juices and a coffee machine. Overall, the breakfast buffet was a bit of a letdown.

As it is a hotel by Shatoreze, the variety of desserts is amazing! It's an all-you-can-eat buffet. The restaurant has a spacious and open atmosphere with high ceilings and all tables are spacious. For a limited time, draft beer and highball are only 500 yen, and glass wine is 300 yen, no matter how many you drink. I started with a toast with Sapporo Classic, which is a light and easy-to-drink beer. First, there were appetizers like salad and shrimp. There was a lot of fish, and everything was delicious. At the tempura corner, there were various freshly made tempura. I chose two pieces of shrimp tempura! The batter was a bit thick, but it was crispy. It made me want to make my own tempura bowl. In addition, there was all-you-can-eat crab, and the sushi was delicious too. The chicken curry I had at the end was surprisingly authentic and delicious! By the way, the white and red glass wines from Shatoreze called Taru Nama wine were not to my liking at all. I'm not very picky about wine, but it was difficult to drink. There were so many desserts, so it was nice to be able to try Shatoreze's sweets.

I stayed at a hotel and had breakfast in the morning. It was a buffet style, and the restaurant had spacious table seating with a high ceiling, giving a very open feeling. There were a wide variety of breakfast options, including made-to-order omelets (you can choose the filling), porridge, rice dishes, and curry. There were also various side dishes, both Japanese and Western, with a homemade feel. The omelets were fluffy and delicious! The croquettes were also tasty! The French toast was soaked well in egg mixture and served with maple syrup and sausages. I highly recommend the French toast! The dessert corner had many cakes from Chateraise. In the drink bar corner, there was a non-caffeine Earl Grey tea labeled as safe for pregnant women, and it was delicious. Overall, the quality was high. On weekends, it can be lively with children, but on weekdays, it's quite quiet, so I recommend weekdays for those who want to enjoy a peaceful meal. It's completely different from the weekend hustle and bustle!笑.

This is a hotel buffet located inside the Gato Kingdom Hotel. The spacious interior with a high ceiling creates an open atmosphere, and there are plenty of tables with good social distancing measures in place. It's quite crowded on Saturday night. You start by taking gloves from the center of the restaurant. Non-alcoholic drinks are all-you-can-drink! And the alcoholic drinks are very cheap too! Sapporo Classic beer is 500 yen, and a glass of wine is 300 yen. I couldn't resist ordering some drinks. I started with the salad corner, with fresh vegetables, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and marinated items. Then I got some sashimi, including amberjack and sweet shrimp. I also had some crab. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! The croquettes were homemade and had a strong potato flavor. The milk pot with salmon was creamy and delicious. The roast beef was moist and had a good amount of lean meat. I wish they had served it with wasabi instead of ponzu sauce. The chicken curry for the finish was also tasty. In the dessert corner, there were many half-sized cakes from Chateraise, as well as ice cream. I saw a family putting ice cream on melon soda, which was cute. I didn't make it to dessert, so I regret that. Everything is self-service, so it can get a bit busy. There are many families with children making noise, so if you're okay with that, I recommend it.

I stayed at this place for breakfast during my trip to Hokkaido. They had a kids' corner with children's dishes, bibs, and bottled baby food. They also provided baby chairs for use. It was great for families with infants and toddlers. Due to COVID-19 measures, the staff served the buffet-style breakfast. They made omelets with your choice of ingredients right in front of you. There was also Japanese food like udon and scallop rice. The baby scallops in the rice were delicious. The variety of side dishes was a bit limited, but as expected from Shatoreze, the dessert section had a great selection of cakes. Since most guests were families with children, it's a family-friendly place.

[Sapporo City, Hokkaido] This resort hotel is located at the northern edge of Sapporo, almost in Ishikari City. It has a bubble-era atmosphere. I stayed for 2 nights on a Friday and Saturday. I visited on an HIS tour, so the price is a mystery. It shouldn't be too expensive, probably less than 10,000 yen per night. The hotel has a large pool and hot springs. There are water slides too. It feels like a bubble. At night, there were fireworks. Bubble feeling. (Or Atami feeling. In the end, it's a bubble feeling.) It makes me worried about the management. ~Morning~ Chirp chirp. This time, I only had breakfast. The breakfast venue is a hall with a high ceiling up to the 11th floor. Bubble feeling. I'm not sure if the tall palm tree is real or fake. I feel like this is not the kind of production you should do in Hokkaido. Do it in Miyazaki. The breakfast was like a good hotel buffet. There were no scrambled eggs, but the omelette I had instead was delicious. They cook it right away when you order, and there seem to be various toppings available. Being a Chateraise hotel, there were big cream puffs and French toast, lots of sweet treats. I had the French toast with lots of whipped cream. I ate too much for breakfast. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

【2018/07/02】Family of 3. 【Breakfast】 7:00-10:00 (last entry 9:30) In the evening, they were carving roast beef when they made omelets. You can add bacon, cheese, corn, green onions, etc. to your liking. The freshly made omelets have a gentle taste from the morning. The breakfast buffet had less cake and more fruits, yogurt, and vegetables. The local yogurt was delicious. There were also French toasts and a variety of bread. Staying in a single bed with breakfast buffet costs around 7500 yen, which is reasonable. Even if you don't stay, there are many great deals with the pool such as lunch buffet, dinner buffet, dessert buffet on weekends. [Date of Visit: July 2, 2018] Visited with a family of 3. [Dinner Buffet] 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Last entry at 8:30 PM). In addition to a live demonstration of roast beef, there were also seasonal Hokkaido dishes available. There was a station where you could make seafood bowls, but the variety of sashimi was limited. With a cake shop on site, there was a wide variety of desserts to enjoy. Dining in an atmosphere with a high ceiling and over 10 floors was quite a unique experience. In terms of value for money, service quality, atmosphere, and taste, I believe this hotel is excellent. Families with children would especially appreciate it. The staff's attention to detail in their service was evident. The view outside included a garden and a pool that were illuminated at night. You can enjoy dining and the pool without leaving the hotel. I would definitely like to use this hotel again.

This was my first stay! I stayed overnight with the staff from the shop where I used to work (currently closed due to COVID). The last time I went to a place like this was when I was in high school. It was nostalgic! Going back now, it's a big hotel. It has a bubbly design. There were a lot of families there. I didn't swim in the pool, just dipped my feet in. The place looked a bit worn out in some areas. The hot springs were spacious with various types of baths. The outdoor bath stung a bit on my face after a while, so I quickly got out. For dinner, we had a buffet! There were many different dishes, but the taste was just average. There was a dessert section with a variety of options, including a Souffle Cheesecake, Cheesecake Tart, and Yogurt, which I usually don't eat after a meal, but I couldn't resist this time! Everything was delicious! Breakfast was also a buffet. There were about three types of cakes, but not many. The taste was average. Even though it's in the city, it felt like a mini vacation. It would be sad if this place closed down, so I hope they can keep going. Ah, it was so much fun! (´ฅ•ω•ฅ`)♡
