I stopped by Yamazakiya for some errands, but the food looked so delicious that I ended up buying some to take home. I tried the dorayaki and manju, and they were both so tasty. It was a long time since I had such delicious Japanese sweets. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

An old man, sad and single with elderly family members. His parents are already halfway into the grave, with his father suffering from dementia and living in a care facility, while his mother resides in their family home. Although his younger brother lives with their mother, the old man still visits on weekends to check up on them. He often brings gifts, such as traditional Japanese sweets, to his mother who has difficulty going out to shop. On this occasion, he bought sweet potato and chestnut steamed buns from a small shop called "Yamazakiya" in a local shopping street. The buns were delicious, especially the sweet potato one. The shop may be small, but it's a good place to buy convenient and tasty gifts.
