Iwata-ya "Minematsukake" is a shop located in the basement of Iwata-ya department store in Fukuoka. They have been in business for over 100 years and specialize in kamaboko (fish cake). They offer a variety of kamaboko products, including skewers with a sea aroma, croquette-like items with plenty of vegetables, and more. The shop has a long history, originally founded in Nishi Nakasu and later expanding to Shin-Tenjin. It's definitely worth a visit for a taste of traditional kamaboko.
