Recently, people don't really say CO-OP or "seikyo" anymore, right? This restaurant is located next to or connected to the CO-OP along the river. It's a seafood restaurant and often has "Gyokko" in its name. I went there for lunch, not specifically for this restaurant. I arrived close to 2 pm, so the restaurant was empty and I comfortably sat at the counter. Even though it was close to 2 pm, they still had the lunch menu available until 5 pm, which could also serve as dinner. I ordered the "Greedily 10-piece set (660 yen tax included)" first. It included tuna, squid, salmon, sweet shrimp, herring, scallop, sea urchin, chopped conger eel gunkan, tuna tataki, and egg. For 660 yen, it was a great deal. The sushi arrived in front of me. I won't go into detail about each piece, but they were all delicious. The scallop was boiled, the sea urchin was white, and the chopped conger eel gunkan was impressive. Even the egg was cooked well. The rice was also good, with the right amount of vinegar and texture. Feeling a bit guilty for just ordering the set, I also got the "Seafood Chirashi Gunkan (99 yen tax included)" and the "Cherry Trout (319 yen tax included)". The seafood mix in the chirashi gunkan was tasty, and the cherry trout had a strong trout flavor with high freshness. I also had shrimp soup, and with all this, the total came to 1,078 yen. It was a satisfying and convenient meal. Thank you for the delicious food!
