Son's extracurricular waiting time... Mother's gourmet trip in Shinjuku! Today, I visited a Turkish restaurant that you don't see often. The lunch menu seemed like a good deal, so I ordered the stuffed cabbage roll set! It came with salad, soup, and Turkish focaccia. After the meal, Turkish tea was served. The soup was tomato-based with basil, a different twist from Japanese soup. The salad had a French dressing, a familiar taste. The main dish, stuffed cabbage roll, was incredibly delicious! The tomato-based sauce with basil was a hit, especially for tomato lovers. The sweetness of the tomato was balanced by a hint of acidity. Inside the cabbage roll was a mixture of minced meat and rice, topped with sauce and cheese. I made sure to enjoy every bit of the leftover sauce with the focaccia. The Turkish tea after the meal was straightforward, similar to Japanese tea. Despite it being lunchtime, I had a relaxing meal with Turkish music playing in the background. The ambiance on the 5th floor allowed me to enjoy the view of Shinjuku on a holiday. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the delicious meal!
