Today I ordered a curry lunch with iced coffee. It came with salad and soup for 950 yen. The curry had a gentle flavor and was very satisfying. Everything I eat here is delicious. I originally planned to get a strong coffee, but the heat made me choose iced coffee instead! Next time, I want to try the tarako pasta! Please give it a try.

The color scheme is just so cute. The interior is also retro cute. And it's delicious. The sandwich with crispy toast is delicious. The mixed juice is also delicious, and I stayed with my friends for a long time, so we even had cake.

In April of the 4th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (11:30-14:00), I ordered the crab tomato cream pasta for 680 yen. It comes with a salad and wakame soup when ordered as a single item. The pasta is delicious and has a good cost performance. It is a smoking-permitted restaurant, so please be aware that those under 20 years old cannot enter.

I was intrigued by the cute pink building of this shop. I parked at a coin parking and went inside. When I tried to order a cake set, it was still early but they were sold out. I ordered something else instead. I got a milk crepe and a cafe mocha as a set. It's allowed to smoke inside, so the place was a bit smoky. The terrace, which seemed like an extension of the indoor area, was a bit better as the wind could still come in, but... I wonder if I should have left when I heard they were sold out.

After visiting Sakai Toshiaki no Mori, we stopped by here with 2 people and had the cake set (750 yen including tax). Among the 5 types of cakes available, we chose the black sugar roll cake and Mont Blanc. They are not homemade. For drinks, we chose coffee and Earl Grey. The coffee was ground after ordering and was smooth and delicious. It was around 5:00 p.m. on a holiday, and the counter seats were about 30% full, while the table seats in the back were only occupied by us. It was nice that the order was served in about 10 minutes.

This shop used to be Coffee MUC, but it was renovated into Cafe de M with a bright blue roof last autumn. When you enter, you will see a mother and son who seem to have come from the previous shop. I ordered the Mild Blend for 420 yen as part of their service morning, where only the drink price is charged. The curved tables, wooden chairs, and stylish furnishings remain the same, but the overall impression is now brighter. The hand-dripped coffee was hot and had a slight bitterness, but it was a refreshing type that I liked. The mini salad had what seemed like a sweet summer orange, and the boiled egg was cut in half. The toast was cut in the middle and slightly flattened, but it was 2 centimeters thick. Looking at the review from when it was still MUC, the morning service was the same, but the overall impression seems to have changed quite a bit.

<Visit on October 22, 2018> While wandering around to see the Sakai Festival, I noticed a new blue tent that caught my eye. I remembered this place used to be a coffee specialty shop called Mac, but now it had a completely different name. Since I hadn't passed by this area recently, I had no idea the shop had changed. Curious to see how it was different from before, I decided to pay a visit. The front of the store had turned into an open cafe, with plenty of outdoor seating. Looking inside from the outside, I could see there were plenty of tables available. It seemed much more inviting compared to before. Upon entering, a cheerful and lovely lady greeted me. It seemed like she was the mother, and there was a young man who appeared to be her son, running the place. The son, who was the master barista, wasn't very talkative, but he brewed my coffee with care. Reading the explanation sheet on the table, it said, "MUC Ogoto store has now changed its name to Cafe do M." I learned that the store had undergone a complete renovation and a name change. I ordered the Blend Coffee Mild for 400 yen. The coffee that was brought to me had a clear and beautiful color. It had a nice aroma, a hint of sweetness, and a smooth aftertaste. It was a generous serving of delicious coffee. When I left, the mother thanked me repeatedly, and I became a fan of hers. As I thought about how the season for hot coffee was approaching, I left the shop with a satisfied feeling.

MUC, located across the streetcar tracks from Sakai Station in the direction of Sakai Higashi, is a well-known chain store in the Kansai region operated by Ueshima Trading, one of the Ueshima brothers along with Ueshima Coffee and Ueshima Foods. I didn't realize this when I visited their store in Himeji. They offer three types of morning sets, and today I chose the toast morning set for 400 yen as my second stop of the day. The seating is only at the counter, which I found interesting with its S-shaped design. The background music was modern R&B, not really matching the morning vibe. I could hear the sound of grinding coffee beans. The hand-drip coffee was hot and mild. The toast was thick at 2.5 cm, but with a generous amount of butter, making the edges a bit flat. The salad included cabbage, orange, and a half boiled egg. It seems like morning sets in Sakai have a high fruit ratio.

Average. Yet expensive.

I had work in Sakai on this day, so I went to a McDonald's that I had been to before. It had been many decades, but it was nice to see that it hadn't changed! I decided to have an iced coffee and a sandwich. The sandwich was quite large and filled me up. The coffee had that classic McDonald's taste. There were a lot of customers, both families and businessmen, so it was quite lively. The restaurant was a bit dirty in some places, but overall, McDonald's is a comforting place to be. Visited for the first time around 3:30 PM with my partner after a 800m walk. I had the Mild Blend Coffee for 400 yen, described as having a soft taste and a high aroma. MUC seems to only have counter seats, is that their business policy? I haven't seen any table seats. The interior design also seems to be unified. The coffee was delicious, and you can smoke there too, which is good. My partner had the Hot Mix Sandwich with mini salad for 550 yen, and I also had the Darjeeling Tea for 500 yen. It was a satisfying meal.

In November 2016, I visited this restaurant that I had fond memories of from a few years ago. It has been over 10 years since I last visited. Many surrounding shops have changed, but this restaurant has remained. The S-shaped counter is still the same as before, bringing back nostalgic memories. I visited alone, just like old times, and ordered a hot coffee without sugar, as I always do. I don't like the hassle of adding sugar and milk, so I prefer it plain. I passed the time playing a smartphone game while enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. I hope this restaurant continues to stay for a long time. Thank you for the delicious coffee. When I visited Sugawara Shrine in Sakai City, I walked a little and ended up at the second cafe. The aftertaste of the coffee I had at the first cafe wasn't great, so I decided to try a different place. The interior of this cafe had a retro, stylish feel with a counter in an S shape, cute chairs, lighting, and decorations. I only had a blend (400 yen) here, which had a balanced and easy-to-drink flavor. The customers were constantly changing, and the master seemed very busy but had a great presence. However, it was disappointing to see that the floor and other areas had a lot of small dust and trash, making it not very clean. I recommend them to do a thorough cleaning, especially of the coffee cups. Despite that, thank you for the meal♪( ´θ｀)ノ

I visited the well-established franchise coffee specialty store MUC that I had been wanting to try. The atmosphere inside the store is calm and pleasant, and the master has a kind tone which makes it comfortable. The interior overall has a retro and charming feel. The roof is made of stained glass-like glass, there is a large clock on the wall, cute snowman plates, and old miniature coffee sets. It's fun to look around leisurely. The hot coffee I ordered was delicious, but my wife's cinnamon coffee (600 yen) was really tasty. It had large sugar crystals and whipped cream, and the taste changed as she drank it. I do like coffee, but since it tends to become a gathering place for smokers, I often find myself going to tea specialty shops instead. This place also allows smoking in all seats.

Retro atmosphere coffee specialty shop Mac FC17 Ogoji store in Sakai Higashi, after eating the Tsukemen with silver noodles, on the way to Sakai Station, I felt a strong heartburn and wanted to drink something, so I came here. This shop seems to have been around for a long time. I like MUC's affiliated stores because they have a stylish interior. In the corner of the store, there was an acoustic guitar placed. I wonder if someone plays it? The seating is only a counter with a slightly unusual shape. This time, I only ordered iced coffee after eating. The taste of the coffee was okay. But the atmosphere is nice, so it's quite comfortable, isn't it? I think it's easy to use when you want to drink coffee slowly alone.
