Every year, for the annual event, I stay overnight once a year. The regular hotel for this occasion is always here. I have stayed here five times in the past five years, and each time I have had the "healthy breakfast". I realized that I had never reviewed it before, so this year I took some photos. Recently, hotel prices around Shinbashi have gone up, and this hotel, which used to cost less than 10,000 yen five years ago, is no longer as affordable. However, it is still cheaper than nearby hotels like TI, AP, and LM, and the free "healthy breakfast" is a great perk. You can even choose your pillow. Now, about the healthy breakfast on this day. There weren't many dishes, but there was stir-fried mixed vegetables, broccoli and chicken stir-fry, simmered dried daikon radish, rolled omelette, grilled mackerel, salad, and pickles. There was also rice, miso soup, and bread. On this day, there was also a clam and green onion sauce to pour over the rice, creating a delicious Fukagawa-don. The Fukagawa-don, with clams and green onion sauce, had a great dashi flavor. The simmered dried daikon radish was lightly seasoned, which was great for those concerned about salt intake. The mixed vegetables were full of healthy vegetables. The grilled mackerel had just the right amount of fat, giving it a nice flavor. The miso soup with plenty of fried tofu, along with a cup of oolong tea from the drink bar, completed the breakfast. It seems like it's more fulfilling than when I first stayed here five years ago. Anyway, I nourished myself with a healthy breakfast and started work at 8 AM. I managed to get through this year's event.
