The Ebisu store is located near the Shibuya Hashi intersection and has a wide variety of items available. - Shine Muscat Shortcake @615 yen (tax included) --- The Shine Muscat is delicious, and the sponge cake is light and fluffy. The harmony with the light cream is wonderful, melting in your mouth from the first bite. A delicious shortcake. - Pure Fresh Milk Crepe @496 yen --- The top is caramelized and fragrant, with beautiful layers of crepe and cream. I went to the Melon Festival for a limited time! Melon shortcake, praline, chocolate, and fluffy souffle cheesecake made with freshly squeezed milk from Yatsugatake contract farm. They were all delicious, but the melon was really good. And of course, the souffle cheesecake was consistently good. The staff at cake shops are usually kind, but the staff at this store seemed a bit cold and it was disappointing.

I went to see baked goods for souvenirs and ended up buying freshly made baked goods in the store as well. The freshness of the freshly made items is truly strong. The appeal of a store that produces and sells directly is high. Of course, the packaged products were delicious as well, so I think this store is versatile and useful.

YATSUDOKI, a sweets shop using ingredients from Yatsugatake, has opened in the south and east of Ebisu, so I went to the east store near Shibuya Bridge. They offer specialties such as apple pie, croissants, and leaf pie freshly baked. In addition to cakes and baked goods, they also sell bread, frozen foods, and aged wines. With a wide variety of options, it's hard to choose. After much deliberation, I ended up buying the following items on this day: - Premium Apple Pie (399 yen): Made with seasonal Japanese apples and custard cream wrapped in a pie made with European fermented butter. The sponge at the bottom uses special breeding eggs. It was a satisfying milk crepe. - Raisin Financier 4 pieces x2 (1274 yen): These were bought as souvenirs for friends. I also tried the "YATSUDOKI Premium Apple Pie," which was quite large. The crust was crispy, and the filling was packed with apples. It was also very tasty.

I found a shop while passing by and decided to go in. Inside, there were individually packaged baked goods and cakes displayed in the showcase, available for takeout only. I purchased the following items: - Homemade sweet red bean paste and butter croissant for 194 yen. The croissant was small, moist rather than crispy, with chunky red bean paste. I got off at JR Ebisu Station, walked out of the east exit, and found a shop called "Chateraise PREMIUM YATSUDOKI" after crossing the Shibuya Bridge on Komazawa Street towards Meiji Street. This shop opened on December 10, 2021, and offers sweets made with the blessings of the fertile land at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake, the pure water of Shirakawa, and the rich natural ingredients nurtured in the area. I bought the YATSUDOKI Premium Apple Pie for 399 yen and enjoyed the satisfying size with a crispy crust and plenty of apples inside. I also tried the homemade red bean paste and butter croissant for 194 yen the next morning, which was a delicious combination of Japanese and Western flavors. In these difficult times when traveling is challenging, the presence of such shops is truly appreciated.

Shatoreeze is often underestimated, but I actually quite like it. I was really impressed when I tried the parfait at their slightly upscale line, Yatsudoki, in Ginza. Unfortunately, it seems like it closed down quickly. Yatsudoki has opened a store in the building where Conrow is located, on the first floor. It's a sales-only store, and I'm a bit worried about its longevity due to the sporadic foot traffic in the area, but I really hope they do well. Conrow, located just above Yatsudoki, has the best balance of taste and price in this neighborhood, in my opinion. It's even better than Blue Papaya. There's a popular Thai restaurant just beyond Conrow, but I haven't tried it because the prices seem a bit high from the start. Conrow, on the other hand, is affordable and delicious, with dishes under 1000 yen. I've only tried the Massaman curry, but if it's similar to the one in Shibuya Conrow, then the Green Curry and Gaeng Gai are likely also top-notch. Sorry, that turned into a review of Conrow rather than Shatoreeze. While browsing the products with snow on my head, I decided to go for the Apple Pie, which looked shiny and large. I also bought a Butter Dorayaki for a snack the next day. There are so many tempting options here; the Strawberry Roll Cake looks delicious, and the Milk Crepe and Mont Blanc seem great too. However, the Apple Pie was too crispy on the outside and not very juicy inside, making it unsuitable for eating at work. The crust falls apart easily. I think it might have a different impression if I warm it up a bit at home, use a knife, and add some cream. I originally planned to have the Butter Dorayaki the next day, but since I was a bit disappointed by the Apple Pie, I decided to try it on the same day. It was delicious! The buttery flavor was slightly stronger than other similar items, making the red bean paste stand out. And it's only 120 yen! Other people who tried the cakes said they were delicious as well. I visited YATSUDOKI, which opened in Ebisu a while ago! YATSUDOKI is the premium brand of the familiar Chateraise, and I had been wanting to visit it for a while but had trouble finding a location. However, it opened in Ebisu, so I went to check it out! There are two stores in Ebisu, one in the east and one in the south, both relatively close to the station. The Ebisu Higashi store is located along the street towards Hiroo from the east exit of Ebisu station, near the Shibuya River! The interior of the store does not have an eat-in space, it is takeout only! You can see the kitchen from the side of the entrance, and the store has quite a depth. Cakes and apple pies are displayed in glass cases near the entrance, while baked goods are displayed along the walls, and ice cream is at the back! The staff were very polite and even recommended some items! • Pure Milk Crepe (469 yen) - A milk crepe with layers of crepe dough and cream! There is a thin layer of sponge cake at the bottom. The milk crepe on top is soft and cuts smoothly with a fork. The surface of the milk crepe is coated with a syrupy substance. The sweetness of the cream is just right and doesn't linger, allowing you to enjoy the milk crepe continuously! • Yatsugatake Minamimura Contract Farm Fresh Milk Custard Choux (270 yen) - One of the main menu items, a cream puff filled with cream made from carefully selected eggs, milk, and cream. The skin is relatively thick, and the cream inside is rich. The cream, with a hint of vanilla, has a light texture and a gentle sweetness! During the interior construction period, I was curious about what kind of shop was opening here. I pass by this shop on my way to the station almost every day, so I was watching the progress of its completion. Then, just before the opening day, I noticed that it was already open! It seemed to be a pre-opening period, so I decided to go in. I bought a Premium Apple Pie, a Silk Sweet Potato Pie, and a Chestnut Pie. The apple pie had a very light and crispy pie crust and the apple filling inside was not too heavy or overly sweet, so I could easily eat a lot of it if I wasn't careful. The sweet potato pie was moist and had a nice level of sweetness, thanks to the Silk Sweet used in it. The chestnut pie had a large chestnut right in the middle, making a big impact and easy to eat. Inside the shop, they also sell cakes, ice cream, wine, and more from Shatoreze, and it's conveniently located near the station, making it easy to visit. It seemed like a place where you could easily get something for a gift or treat. I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

I ordered two regular size soft serves, but the machine was making strange noises and only a small amount of cream was coming out each time. After struggling for 5 minutes, I was given a small size soft serve that was clearly not the regular size. The staff then tried to make the second one, but the machine still didn't work properly. They offered to refund one of the soft serves, but I was disappointed with the whole experience.

I purchased a custard pudding for 270 yen, financiers for 160 yen, and madeleines for 160 yen. The custard pudding had a nice balance of not being too bitter with caramel, and the taste was very delicious for the price of 270 yen. It would make a great gift for a friend's house as a dessert that can be described as tasty.
