This is a ryokan in Jozankei, Hokkaido. I stayed here after using the 15,000 yen dinner course. From check-in to check-out, food and drinks were always present. The check-in explanation included warabi mochi. In the room, there were kin-tsuba snacks. Before dinner, there were light snacks in the lounge. Dinner included a choice of courses ranging from 12,000 to 20,000 yen. After dinner, there were snacks and a variety of drinks at the bar. Late-night snacks included inari-zushi and honey ginger. For breakfast, there was a traditional Japanese set meal. The bar had a menu with over 7 pages of drinks, which is great for those who enjoy alcohol. The food presentation was beautiful and luxurious, but the quality of the ingredients was a bit lacking. The flounder and turnip dish was delicious, and the sashimi was fresh. The hotel requires the use of stairs, so it may not be suitable for those needing barrier-free access. Additionally, there were many bugs like stink bugs due to the location. Overall, the service was excellent, but the value for the price was questionable. I recommend this place for those who prioritize service.
