"Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi," operated by "Daiki Suisan," which originated in the Sakai Central Wholesale Market, is a kaiten sushi restaurant we visited at Namba Walk this time. They also have a takeout section called "Machi no Minato" within the store. The restaurant features a conveyor belt with chefs standing inside, ready to serve customers, ensuring cleanliness and safety. While you can order items not on the belt using a touch panel, many customers still prefer to communicate directly with the staff. During a promotion, draft beer was available for 330 yen, and the beer was served perfectly thanks to the well-maintained tap system. I ordered using the touch panel, and was promptly served with a miso soup and chawanmushi, both with mild flavors. For those who prefer a smooth dining experience, timing your orders well is recommended. I ordered a plate of overflowing ikura and salmon, but it did not quite match the photo on the touch panel, resembling a McDonald's strategy. The sushi rice was drenched in vinegar, making it less enjoyable. The fried octopus was a highlight, hot and crispy, pairing well with beer. Dissatisfied with the previous orders, I tried the sashimi assortment, which included salmon again. The fish itself was delicious. After finishing my meal and having just one drink, the bill came to 3,000 yen. Overall, while the experience was average, I couldn't help but feel slightly unsatisfied. Perhaps it was my fault for not ordering traditional sushi at a kaiten sushi restaurant where I didn't eat much sushi in the first place."

While watching a TV show at a hotel during a business trip, I heard someone talking about how good the squid legs were, so I decided to go there the next day. I arrived in the afternoon and was seated right away. Due to the pandemic, it was my first time seeing sushi rotating on a conveyor belt, and it was quite impressive. The squid legs were delicious, but the other sushi items were also very tasty. I tried the sea bream skin for the first time and enjoyed it. I wanted to have more, but it didn't come around again. It's a shame. If I have the chance to visit Osaka again, I will definitely stop by.

Looking back at the photos later, I realized I forgot to take some. I started with the fatty tuna belly, which was surprisingly delicious. The fat content was just right and it had a good flavor. On the 23rd... it was supposed to be a day out at Minami, then back home... but I ended up stopping by Daiki Suisan at Namba Walk. I don't have a great impression of this place (lol), but I wanted to eat eel. So, I ordered a sweet potato shochu on the rocks. Sushi, 3 types of eel, tuna, kampyo roll, squid, and squid with natto. The sweet potato shochu was... well, it's cheap sweet potato (lol). The kampyo roll was just right in sweetness, I didn't eat it when I was young but now I enjoy it as a side dish. Skipped the tuna. The eel arrived! Wasabi, sansho pepper, and normal... three types. Hmm, when was the last time I had eel on the Day of the Ox? The taste is... so-so. The squid was good, with a crunchy texture. The squid with natto, can't go wrong with that. I didn't pick any sushi that was going around the conveyor belt because they didn't look appetizing after some time. This place also has only foreign staff. Do they not hire Japanese people? Thanks for the meal.

It's not like a 100 yen conveyor belt sushi place like Sushiro or Hamazushi, but a 700 yen conveyor belt sushi place where the quality matches the price. The service was polite and the fried octopus was deliciously tender. The lean tuna had just the right amount of oil and tasted great.

They have a wide variety of affordable lunch options and a selection of a la carte dishes, making it perfect for casual drinks as well. I often pass by the "Dai-ki Suisan Rotating Sushi Namba Walk Store" in Namba Walk, but this was my first visit. The restaurant is separated from the neighboring one by acrylic panels. Items I tried: - Grilled squid - Seared salmon - Live tai snapper - Medium fatty tuna - Fatty tuna - Vinegared mackerel - Large cooked eel - Shrimp - Tamago (egg) - Toro-taku tekkamaki - Bottled beer The medium fatty tuna tekkamaki was incredibly delicious. I decided to visit this restaurant at Namba Walk for a quick early dinner. I thought I had already written a review after a previous visit, but it turns out I hadn't. Oh well, these things happen sometimes. I arrived around 5:30 pm on a holiday and there were about 10 other customers in the restaurant. I ordered the following items: Seared sardine for 300 yen, medium draft beer for 280 yen, lemon vinegar mackerel for 200 yen, straw-grilled bonito with garlic chips for 200 yen, shrimp sashimi for 200 yen, and Ishigaki shellfish for 200 yen. I decided to try some autumn menu items. The bonito sushi with garlic chips was a unique combination and surprisingly delicious. The seared sardine was amazing with its rich flavor. I could have eaten multiple plates of it. However, I like to try a variety of dishes so I ordered different items. After enjoying my meal, I quickly paid and left. This restaurant is conveniently located, so I will definitely come back for some sushi and drinks. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted something a little heavier to eat and it was too hot, so I took refuge in the underground Namba Walk. I decided to eat seafood... sushi. I visited the Daikisen Namba Walk store, which I have visited a few times before. It is a slightly high-end conveyor belt sushi restaurant, also known for its locations in Tobu Market and Whity Umeda. I usually avoid conveyor belt sushi restaurants because the sushi may become dry. Of course, it's the same at this restaurant. I was seated at a corner counter seat. I ordered a plain chu-hi for 190 yen (limited time offer), maguro for 100 yen, shimesaba for 150 yen, and hamachi for 200 yen. The chu-hi arrived first, which was refreshing after walking in the heat. I prepared soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi while waiting. Then, three plates were brought to me at the same time. I had a bad feeling and it turned out to be true - they brought sushi from the conveyor belt! The surface of the sushi was not fresh at all. I was disappointed because I expected to order sushi that was not on the conveyor belt. I ordered kanpyo maki for 100 yen, and it was prepared by a foreigner who seemed to be Indian. It peeled off the seaweed immediately. I finished my chu-hi with pickled ginger and thanked them for the meal.

One day, I felt tired and didn't feel like cooking dinner. I remembered a review about cheap and delicious takeout sushi from a place called Daiki Suisan in Namba Walk. I decided to try it out and found a great deal - 12 pieces of sushi for only 390 yen! The sushi included tuna, octopus, shrimp, squid, salmon, eel, and tamago (egg). It was delicious, especially the tamago which had a rich flavor. My family enjoyed it too. It was a great option for a quick and tasty dinner when feeling tired.

Namba Walk, which was closed due to the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus outbreak, has reopened today. As I took a stroll, I visited Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi in Nipponbashi, Namba Walk. This type of sushi restaurant serves sushi on plates of different colors, each indicating a different price. Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi originated in Sakai and has many branches in Osaka. I wonder if this type of kaiten sushi is a bit on the pricier side. In terms of content, I believe Kura Sushi offers the best value for money among kaiten sushi restaurants in Osaka.

After a long time, I took a leisurely walk around Namba Walk and stopped by Daiki Suisan for lunch. It was lunchtime, so the place was bustling with customers. Surprisingly, draft beer was only 280 yen! My wife and I raised our glasses to a toast in the middle of the day. (Our son had orange juice.) Drinking alcohol during the day on a holiday is always nice. (Although it's a common occurrence...) It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. ☆☆☆

When I feel like eating sushi, I always come here. The revolving sushi restaurant at Daiki Suisan in Namba Walk, Osaka, seems to be thriving, as it's always crowded during meal times. Since it was a late lunch on this day, I was able to get in easily. The revolving sushi makes me excited as it goes round and round. It's a counter-style restaurant mainly, with many solo diners. Besides the revolving lane, you can also order from the menu. The lady next to me ordered a sashimi assortment of tuna, which looked good, but I stuck with sushi. I love tuna, so I got the "Tuna Special" for 950 yen, a bit pricey but delicious! They also have items like fried tuna, which goes well with beer! I've never found a casual sushi place around Namba before, so this is really appealing. I might end up going back many times. I also write about solo dining in Osaka on my blog. On this day, the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line stopped due to trouble, so I couldn't go or return, and had to wait for 2 hours at Namba. I was frustrated and wanted to drink beer! I checked out a few standing bars in Namba Walk, but it was full of middle-aged men. I didn't have the courage to go in alone as a middle-aged woman. Frustrated, I wandered around, and then I saw Daikisuisan offering draft beer for 280 yen! I realized it had been a while since I had sushi. I'm fine with eating alone at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Since I hadn't eaten lunch, I was hungry. So, I decided to go in - even though it was a Saturday, it was a bit early at 4 pm, so it was about 30% full. I ordered a draft beer right away! Most of the customers were also drinking alone, enjoying beer or highballs with octopus tempura, tuna tempura, etc. I also wanted to do the same thing if I didn't have plans after this. Unfortunately, I had to stop at one glass (T_T). I had salmon onion, salmon with Kyoto miso, premium minced tuna with green onions, octopus salad battleship, and salmon with cheese sushi. They were all so tempting dishes not listed on the menu, and I couldn't help but order them when they came in front of me! I got excited about the conveyor belt sushi, which I hadn't had in a while, and forgot to take pictures, only took a picture of the beer for some reason. I ended up eating quite a few expensive plates, so the total bill was 1780 yen for 5 plates plus the draft beer! But everything was delicious, and I had a very satisfying meal. It's been a long time since I went to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant! And it was Daiki Suisan! It brings back memories! When they first started opening chain stores along the Sakai Chuo Kanko-sen, I visited for the first time! I was impressed thinking, "This is not just your regular conveyor belt sushi!" I visited during this busy year-end season wondering if it would be crowded, but I was able to enter smoothly! As usual, I focused on dishes to go with my drinks, such as kazunoko, uzaku, and fried blowfish. And of course, I couldn't leave without having some toro for the finale! It made me feel nostalgic and warm. It was delicious. Thank you.
