For Papa's birthday, we went to the reliably delicious Chateraise. It was packed as usual. We bought cakes like pudding a la mode, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, lemon tart, and chocolate. Also got our favorite ice cream Choco Bucky! Tried the new menu item Matcha Bucky too. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to go back again soon.

Located in Takashi City, "Chateraise Takashi Store" is conveniently situated near Route 26. Whenever I visit Chateraise, I usually buy ice cream during the summer and cakes during other seasons. "I never expected to find traditional Japanese sweets like this at 'Chateraise'." That was my thought when I discovered Setsubun-themed wagashi at Chateraise. Despite the strong image of a Western confectionery store associated with the name (at least for me), Chateraise actually offers a variety of Japanese sweets. Towards the end of January, I came across Setsubun-themed wagashi such as "Red Oni," "Otai Fuku," and "Masu," alongside Western-style cakes like "Setsubun Red Oni Taro," "Setsubun Yellow Oni-chan," and "Setsubun Ehomaki Roll." While the limited edition Setsubun cakes featuring demons and Ehomaki were available from February 1st to 3rd, the Setsubun wagashi were already on sale. Since I knew I'd be busy around Setsubun and wouldn't have time to enjoy sweets leisurely, I decided to get a taste of the Setsubun spirit early by trying the wagashi. When I first visited the store, it was already dark, and they had sold out for the day, so I made a reservation for two days later. Upon returning home, I tried the wagashi. The "Red Oni" was made of smooth sweet bean paste, "Otai Fuku" was a steamed bun, and "Masu" was a daifuku. While I enjoyed the "Red Oni" with its corners made of sweetened beans and the "Otai Fuku" with its red bean paste and cinnamon features, what stood out to me the most was the "Masu." This wagashi featured a colored daifuku with a wooden box pattern stamped on it, topped with roasted soybeans to represent the beans thrown during Setsubun. While I've seen wagashi resembling demons or Otai Fuku at other Japanese confectionery stores, this was the first time I had seen one depicting a box of beans. In terms of taste, the roasted soybeans added a fragrant and slightly crunchy element that complemented the gentle sweetness of the white bean paste and the softness of the dough. For those interested in the cute demon cakes or Ehomaki-themed roll cakes, be sure to visit your nearest Chateraise before Setsubun day."

My friend always brings me five apple pies whenever we meet because I mentioned that my mother loves apple pie. They are so generous! The Shine Muscat grapes were also delicious. The ice cream was surprisingly affordable and tasty. I got so excited seeing the advertisement for the sweet potato and chestnut fair that I took a picture. I really love sweet potatoes and chestnuts!

The Halloween cake with muscat jelly was delicious. The jelly in the muscat jelly tasted great, not too sweet but fluffy and tasty. The Halloween cake looked cute, but it was just a regular cake.

After shopping at a nearby bicycle shop, I stopped by Shatorize with my mother for the first time in a while. The atmosphere was stylish, and I noticed that the packaging of the Keina products, which I used to buy often, had changed. I bought some Karinto manju for the first time in a while as well. And then... the apple pie looked delicious! It was freshly baked in-store, still slightly warm. It had just the right amount of sweetness and was really tasty. I also looked at the ice cream selection and there were so many options to choose from ⭐️ Hokkaido Butter Soft Serve 561 yen ⭐️ Taiyaki Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich 367 yen - with red bean paste and vanilla ice cream all the way to the edges ⭐️ Premium Rum Raisin Ice Cream 561 yen - it was rich and the fermented butter flavor was intense. There were lots of raisins in it too. Dry Ice 15 minutes 38 yen - it's not a free service, but it lasted for more than 30 minutes, which was enough.

Delicious, relatively cheap, and consistently tasty cakes from Shatoreze★ I always make sure to stop by and purchase a birthday cake, etc. The taste is great whether it's with whipped cream or chocolate base★ When in Sakai, there is also a Shatoreze in Takashi where I go to satisfy my sweet cravings❤ When in need of something sweet, Shatoreze is always a reliable choice for delicious treats. Give it a try at least once! ✌

Today's snack time at work was a Hokkaido mascarpone strawberry roll for 180 yen before tax. The strawberry roll had a large half strawberry in the middle, and the mascarpone was the highlight with its delicious rich cream. It was a twist on a classic roll cake. Thank you for the treat.

Finally, the first Shine Muscat cake of the year. There were three varieties available, but the cheapest one was priced at 390 yen. The Shine Muscat itself was a bit pricey for just one grape. The cake consisted of jelly mousse, custard, sponge, nuts, and a bottom layer of Muscat jelly. Overall, it was a sweet cake. Perhaps I should have gone for the 500 yen one instead.

Check this out! A pudding a la mode with so many strawberries! As expected, the new creations from Chateraise are expertly decorated. It's our usual workplace snack time! When we opened the box, it instantly became more vibrant and everyone cheered. It's quite a generous portion, but when it comes to sweets, there's always room for more. We devoured the pudding and strawberries in no time! I wish I could have savored it a bit longer, but... we're still at work so we can't treat it like we're at home. Some colleagues may say I'm just eating too quickly, but I ignore them!

It's a bit early, but this week's snack is from the well-known patisserie Shatoreze! The cost performance is great, but everyone's taste buds are getting more refined so there isn't much excitement... Christmas presents: Strawberry Shortcake for 237 yen, Chocolate for 237 yen. No cake shop can match this price! Thank you for the meal.

The Halloween-themed designs are so cute! I was craving something sweet, so I decided to buy a cake from Shatoreze. In the shop window, there were various Halloween cakes on display, all looking delicious and adorable. I originally planned to buy just one, but I couldn't resist and ended up buying three because they all looked so tempting. The pumpkin-shaped one and the apple-shaped one were almost too cute to eat. However, Shatoreze cakes are not overly sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness that I find satisfying. The apple cake was incredibly delicious. I will definitely go back to buy more.

I have been to Shatres several times, and I usually go there not for the cakes or other sweets, but for the ice cream. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors which always excites me. I have always liked the chocolate banana bar, so I always make sure to buy it before heading home. They also have a variety of baked goods and traditional Japanese sweets. I recently saw a lemon cake which I'm not sure if it was always there, but I decided to try it since I love lemon cakes. It was delicious, not dry at all. They provide dry ice for purchases that need to be kept cold, which is something to keep in mind.

I usually use the Hamadera store a lot, but they didn't have the Cream Daifuku that was valid until the end of March with a coupon, so I remembered it was at the Takashi store and visited there. Similarly, the Cookie & Crunch Bar White Chocolate, which was not available at the Hamadera store, was available here! The Takashi store has a good selection of items! The Cream Daifuku set includes red bean, chocolate, strawberry, cafe au lait, and matcha Mont Blanc flavors, with 6 varieties in one bag for 588 yen, reduced to 460 yen with the coupon. I planned to buy 5 bags, but when I looked at the showcase, there was only one bag available. There were many individually sold items, so I called out to the staff and asked for a set of 5 bags. The Cookie & Crunch Bar, with 6 pieces in one bag (348 yen), was reduced to 250 yen with the coupon. I bought the vanilla, cafe latte, and white chocolate flavors. Now my home freezer is full (laughs). The Cream Daifuku is the type to eat after thawing, so I eat it when it reaches the desired firmness. It's nice to enjoy 6 different flavors. The Cookie & Crunch Bar is an ice cream that you can enjoy the texture of. I love this kind of thing! I enjoyed everything very much.
