Mochikichi Sakai store in Nagasonecho, Sakai City
I received orders from my mother who loves Mochikichi to buy takosen and curry sen before returning home, so I visited the store. There was a long line, but I found out it was a special sale day where they also give out bottled water, so I ended up buying a lot and received water and other gifts as well (laughs).

"Mochi Yoshi" is a rice cracker shop located in Sakai City, Sakai-ku, near the Chuo Kanjo-sen Line, making it easily accessible. In addition to rice crackers, they also offer fresh Japanese confectionery and ice cream, making it hard to choose just one. They also have gift items available, which is convenient. Today, I purchased En-mochi, Sakura-mochi, Ohagi, and Curry Senbei. The En-mochi has a texture that reminds me of the Adzuki bean paste mochi from Kyoto. The sakura bean paste has a nice spring-like flavor. The sakura-mochi and ohagi were just the right amount of sweetness. The curry senbei is perfect for enjoying while watching TV. Next time, I will go back to buy some ice cream! Thank you for the delicious treats!"

There is a "Mochikichi Sakai Store" on the walking course! Mochikichi is known for their delicious rice crackers, but I love red bean paste so I tried their ohagi! Ohagi is sweet and tasty, but if it's too sweet, it can be tiring to eat! Mochikichi's ohagi is just right in terms of sweetness! I love red beans, so I feel like I could eat as many as I want! The staff's service is also good, making it a shop I want to visit again! Thank you for the meal!

I visited "Mochi Yoshi" in Sakai City. I got takeout of sticky rice cakes (filled with sweet red bean paste, matcha bean paste, white bean paste) and moist and flavorful soy sauce-flavored senbei rice crackers. The sweet red bean paste sticky rice cake was the most delicious! Once I started eating the soy sauce-flavored senbei, I couldn't stop and ended up eating several pieces.

In Osaka, there is a shop called Mochikichi that sells delicious soy sauce rice crackers along Sakai-Nakamichi. I really like their soy sauce rice crackers, which are called "Umaka Senbei", and I sometimes go there to buy them. The main store is in Fukuoka. To be honest, my favorite soy sauce rice crackers are the "Umaki Senbei" from Maruhiko Seika (>_<). The Maruhiko Seika Umaki Senbei 7 pieces x 12 bags price: 3780 yen. This! It sounds similar to... ('ω') Goho goho (''◇'')ゞ Anyway, the Umaki Senbei is unbeatable! Another delicious option is the "Umaka Senbei", which is just as good! Are they made in the same place?! I don't think so. The Umaki Senbei is not readily available nearby, so Mochikichi is convenient to buy from. I bought it. It's super delicious! And when I looked around the shop, they also sold ice cream! The matcha flavor was milky. The strawberry flavor was incredibly rich and sweet-sour. It tasted just like real strawberries. Matcha sweets are the best after all. The bitterness of the tea enhances the sweetness. Delicious! I got a membership card for 100 yen, and they gave me a cute cleaner cloth. (※Delivery available until June 30 with specified date)

On this day, I stopped by Yoshisan's shop to buy something before heading to a distant relative's house. Since it was hot, I decided to get some sweet rice cakes instead of senbei. I took them home, chilled them, and enjoyed them. They were just regular sweet rice cakes, but they made me feel the summer vibes. Thank you for the meal.

I'm glad to be Japanese because one of my favorite foods is senbei (rice crackers). There is a pet shop near the store where I buy food for my precious parakeet, and I often stop by. The store has a very impressive appearance. Whenever I visit, they serve me tea and tea snacks. There are so many varieties of senbei available for sampling. They also have delicious looking ice cream! The most intriguing item was the inari-age mori, which you can microwave and eat. It seems perfect for lunch. The store staff mentioned a promotion for this item, so I plan to check it out. The store recently introduced a point card system, so I signed up despite the 100 yen fee. I hope to receive some good deals and information. This time, I got a black stick as a gift for becoming a card member. It's delicious. I also bought a pack of senbei that was not sorted for broken pieces, which was a good deal. There were other flavors like butter soy sauce, soy sauce, and plum syrup available. I also saw some snacks I would like to try next time, like mentaiko shrimp senbei! Can't wait to visit the store again.

Mochi Yoshi is known for their gift assortments of rice crackers and senbei, but when I visited the store, I found they also offer items such as ice candy and traditional Japanese sweets. Their Enmochi is a semi-sweet treat with a smooth bean paste filling, similar to Ajari mochi. It comes in three flavors - white bean paste, matcha bean paste, and red bean paste, and the packaging is cute. They also have Yomogi dango, An dango, and Mitarashi dango, which are all slightly chewy and not too sweet. The Kinako-coated dango has a nice texture similar to Gohyakumochi. I was surprised to find Karinto (sweet deep-fried dough) as well. Although their specialty seems to be rice-based products, they also excel in making soy sauce rice crackers. The store has a spacious parking lot, making it easy to visit. I look forward to coming back to purchase gifts in the future.

I heard from a neighbor that the "inarimochi" sold at Mochikichi is really delicious, so I decided to buy some. I had noticed the sign for "inarimochi" in front of Mochikichi's store every time I passed by. The bag contains 4 pieces each of sweet and savory fried tofu and mochi, and you simply stuff the mochi into the fried tofu, microwave it, and it's ready to eat. Another recommendation from my neighbor was to try it on top of udon noodles, so I tried it that way. It was a delicious combination of kitsune udon and mochi, and the flavor was addictive. Thank you for the meal.

This is a gift I received. I received a gift from my parents' house. There were 10 pieces inside, and when you open it, there are thick rice crackers. They are not too hard, but you can eat them crispy. It seems like they are fried, and they are delicious. They are not soy sauce flavor, but more like salad flavor. I don't usually eat rice crackers much, but these were easy to eat and tasty. Anyone could enjoy them regardless of age. Thank you for the treat.

I knew there was a "Mochikichi" store in my local area, but I always felt like the place had a high threshold for entry... I had this image of customers bringing gifts with them. But since it was New Year's, I decided to try some luxurious rice cakes. When I went, I was surprised to see that it was quite crowded. There were not only rice cakes in fancy boxes, but also small bags of them. There were also rice cakes, mochi, and sweet treats to choose from. I was so indecisive... In the end, I ended up buying sweet potato chips and a type of rice cake that looked just like my favorite Maruhiko Seika's "Delicious Senbei" (I hope they don't fight over the product names). It was delicious! I love this too!!! I will definitely go back. I think I'll also buy the online exclusive assortment next time.

I visited here thinking of buying something salty for snacks with alcohol. This is a chain store with nationwide presence. The store has a parking lot with a considerable number of spaces. They sell self-fill "Rikimizu" 10L for 100 yen at the storefront, so many customers use it. They also sell ice cream outside the store. I was tempted to get ice cream too, but I passed this time. Inside the store, the staff made tea for me. You can drink tea while sampling basil cheese rice crackers. After much deliberation, I ended up buying "Wasabi Nori Rolls" this time. It costs around 370 yen. They are individually wrapped, which is not very eco-friendly... The spiciness of wasabi varies greatly among each piece. Some are very spicy, while others are not spicy at all. Personally, I prefer it to be even spicier. I was hoping for the sharp spiciness like the old "Wasabi Gold" they used to sell... There are many traditional Japanese sweets, but there are few rice cakes, with rice crackers and rice crackers being the main products. Today, they were giving out Rikimizu as a gift to those who purchased sweets, which was a nice little bonus.

Since receiving it as a souvenir once, if I were to buy senbei, it would definitely be from Mochikichi. They have a wide variety of flavors, and the small store makes it hard to choose. They have individually wrapped senbei in various flavors for gifts, but for personal consumption, the large bags are a better deal, starting from 200-300 yen. Personally, I prefer the fried senbei with strong flavors over the baked ones, and I absolutely love the Negimiso flavor from Komachi. Also, the Gobou flavor from Komachi is incredibly delicious, but unfortunately, it only comes in the assorted packs. The savory taste of the Gobou with a simple and satisfying flavor that doesn't get tiring is just exquisite. I wish they sold a pack with only Gobou flavor... (They do have a pack with only Negimiso flavor, maybe it's popular?)

This is a gift I received. I was surprised by the size. I was nervous about how it would be inside such a big can. There were various types packed in the package, and they kept coming out one after another haha. It seemed like there were three times as many as the ones I received in a different box on another day. I had my parents, who love rice crackers, try them. The mentaiko flavor had a delicious aftertaste of mentaiko.

At the end of the year, my friend sent me a tin of sweets made with mochi rice. The package was so cute that I almost didn't want to open it! Inside, there were four different types of sweets: Salad-flavored mochi festival (9 pieces), Soy sauce-flavored mochi festival (8 pieces), Ume-zarame-flavored mochi festival (5 pieces), and Cheesy fukuyoka mochi (8 pieces). The sweets were crispy and delicious, perfect for gifting. I plan to reuse the empty tin as a medicine box.

The gift from the repair company that fixed my entrance door: "Sunshine" fried rice crackers. Individually wrapped, so they stay crispy even after some time. They are crispy, slightly salty, and easy to eat without getting your hands dirty. The box is light and easy to carry despite its size. Rice crackers are generally liked by most people. Oh, and they were delicious.
