Seasonal limited edition Mizuwarabi Mochi, 3 pieces for 1,100 yen. The appearance of Mizuwari Mochi is clear and colorless, resembling a lens which is quite interesting! You can enhance the texture by sprinkling the included black honey and soybean flour on top. It's a refreshing sweet treat that is perfect as a souvenir. You can easily purchase it at station souvenir shops or department stores.

Fukushodo Shuushin is a long-established store. This time, I got their zenzai. It's not just any zenzai, it costs over 1000 yen for two servings. I hesitated to buy it, but after removing the lid, adding water, and microwaving it, it was ready. And yet, it's the real deal, delicious zenzai.

Located near Kintetsu Nipponbashi Station (North) by the Dotonbori River, Fukujudo Shu'ei ~Somoncho Store~ offers a confection inspired by the ginkgo tree-lined Midosuji Avenue in Osaka. Made with egg senbei as the main ingredient, this treat features a soft and moist texture. Inside the thin senbei, there is sweet red bean paste filling. The thin shape makes it easy to eat and delicious. It has a gentle flavor and a soft texture that is recommended for both young children and elderly individuals.

Fukujudo Hidenobu in Tezukayama is known for its traditional Japanese sweets. They have a high-class shop in Minami's nightlife district. I bought some of their famous sweets for a snack. Their signature sweet, "Fukufukufu," is a unique treat that only Fukujudo Hidenobu can make. It's not like your typical steamed cake, more like a light jelly or floating island. Their seasonal sweet, Marongurasu, is my favorite. It has a rich flavor from mixing red bean paste into the dough, a technique unique to Japanese confectionery. Another seasonal treat, Kinomitsu Kurikuri, wraps a whole chestnut in sweet red bean jelly. The sweetness is elegant and not overpowering, perfect for those who find typical yokan too sweet. My sons, who love red bean paste, said it's the best yokan they've ever had.

This review is from a blog post. The post is about trying out the specialty sweets from Fukusudou Shunshin - Fukufukufu Strawberry, Seasonal Flower Sakura, and Hanranman - as part of a "Michelin-like rating" experience. Fukusudou Shunshin is a long-established confectionery founded in 1948, with its main store located in Tezukayama, Osaka (although the headquarters is in Soemon-cho). These sweets are said to be the representative confections of Osaka, designated by the Imperial Household Agency. The Fukufukufu Strawberry, Seasonal Flower Sakura, and Hanranman are all spring-themed confections. Fukufukufu Strawberry is a steamed bun made with a blend of rice flour and a special red bean paste, with added fermented butter flavor. It is a limited-time flavor, and its appearance is unique, resembling a flattened jelly-like texture with a somewhat cloudy pink color. The Seasonal Flower Sakura is a beautiful confection made with sakura-flavored Do-Myouji Kanten (agar jelly) filled with red bean paste, symbolizing the beauty of cherry blossoms. The Hanranman is a baked confection with a pink color due to the sakura-flavored red bean paste filling. These confections are all small in size but come with a price tag of over 200 yen each. After trying these confections, the reviewer was impressed by the exquisite taste and quality of Fukusudou Shunshin's sweets. They particularly enjoyed the Fukufukufu Strawberry for its moist and chewy texture, rich fermented butter flavor, and the subtle taste of strawberries and condensed milk. The reviewer described the experience as "delicious" and felt a sense of happiness while savoring these confections. Overall, Fukusudou Shunshin's confections are worth the price, and the company's dedication to using quality ingredients and traditional techniques is evident in the taste of their sweets. The reviewer also mentioned the possibility of enjoying these confections at the Toki teahouse in the main store in Tezukayama, where one can experience a Kyoto-like atmosphere in Osaka.

I purchased the Ebisu Manju from Fukujudo Shushin in Soemon-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka. It cost 140 yen including tax. Inside, there is a sweet and smooth red bean paste filling, which is delicious. The manju is small in size, with a thin and gentle outer skin that complements the red bean paste well. It was a tasty treat. Thank you for the meal. Release date: July 2016. I received a souvenir from someone who came from Kansai, which is the "Hanamido" from Fukusudo Hidenobu. I had heard of this snack before, but this was my first time trying it. It is a rice cracker with red bean paste sandwiched in between. The rice cracker is moist and soft, and it goes well with the red bean paste. The rice cracker is designed with ginkgo leaves, which reminds me of Mido-suji. I haven't walked above ground much lately, always taking the subway. Maybe I'll walk along Mido-suji, stepping on ginkgo leaves. Thank you for the meal.

Fukujudo Hidenobu is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop based in Osaka. They offer a variety of traditional Japanese sweets, from baked goods to water-based sweets. One of their specialties is the Mizuyokan, a type of water-based sweet made with lightly solidified strained sweet bean paste. It has a smooth and creamy texture that melts in your mouth, with a moderate level of sweetness. Each serving contains 85g of Mizuyokan, providing a satisfying eating experience.

On November 20, 2013 (Wednesday), I received a mix of karinto candy and peanut senbei as a souvenir from Kashokan Fukujudo Hide Nobu. The mix of various shapes of karinto candy was very cute and a little sweet, which was soothing. The peanut senbei had a slight nutty aroma and a light texture, making it delicious. I couldn't stop eating and finished it all in one go. It comes in a can, so you can enjoy it over several days without it getting humid.

There are various traditional Japanese sweets available, but the representative specialty is the Osaka souvenir "Hanamido." It is a soft egg senbei inspired by the ginkgo trees along Midosuji Street, with red bean paste sandwiched inside. The loose and chewy red bean paste, combined with the overall moist and light texture, allows you to easily eat 2-3 pieces at once. "Hanamido" is sold in a box that has won the Prime Minister's Award, available in 5, 10, and 15 piece sets. Store information can be found at http://fukujyudou.shop26.makeshop.jp/

In March 2016, I received a gift from a friend from Fukusudo Hidetoshi, a famous confectionery shop in Tezukayama. The gift was a tin can containing two types of snacks: peanut senbei and mixed kari sugar. The peanut senbei had a strong peanut flavor and a crispy texture, while the mixed kari sugar had various types of candies that were visually appealing. I couldn't stop eating them once I started. Overall, it was a delicious treat!
