Recently, when it comes to souvenirs, the Olive Sand from here is the top choice. It's great for friends coming from out of town or as a reasonable souvenir when going back home. As a resident of the neighboring town of Kichijoji, it's nice to have a local feel to the sweets. Nowadays, most manufacturers are nationwide, so it's quite difficult to find sweets that are only available in Tokyo... well, you can also buy them online. Even for those who don't like olives, there's no olive taste, so it's okay. The cookies sandwiched are light and elegant. The cream is not too sweet, with a good balance. It goes well with coffee, tea, and wine. Other baked goods like tarts are also delicious. I would love to visit the restaurant someday.

Olive sandwich at a restaurant in Musashi-Koganei. A popular item that sells out quickly even though it's just a tenant. When you open the bag, you can smell the olive fragrance. It doesn't have a strong taste, but it has a refined overall balance. It's sweet but not overwhelming. It's subtly amazing.

Caramel Nut Tart: A tart with nuts that I couldn't quite tell if it was caramel, but I enjoyed the crunchy texture with fewer moisture. Fruit Tart: A classic tart with simple and delicious baked cheese. The crust was also crispy and nice.

I bought a lucky bag for 2160 yen, but the contents are only worth 2200 yen, so there is no sense of getting a good deal at all. It's the worst.

I received an "Olive Sandwich" from a colleague that looks just like a raisin sandwich. It has a crispy biscuit texture. Inside, there is a fluffy cream and olives!! They use olives harvested in the Andalusia region of Spain. Not only does it look like a raisin sandwich, but the olives also look like raisins. But when you eat it, it has a salty taste and the aroma of olives spreads in your mouth. Oh, this is an olive. That's the feeling. It goes well with black tea or coffee, but it makes you want to drink white wine. It was a dessert that made me want to drink white wine.

Yesterday, my daughter and her husband had errands to run, so I took care of my two grandchildren. In the evening, when my daughter and her husband came to our house, they brought a souvenir of assorted baked goods from TERAKOYA in Kichijoji. Out of the 5 items, my wife chose her favorites first, leaving the rest for me. Today, I ate the Florentine on the right end. The ingredients include sugar, margarine, sliced almonds, corn syrup, honey, and salt. The crispy texture of the almonds and the perfect balance of sweetness made it quite delicious.
