At 19:30 on a regular day, when you enter the Kishiwada Kankan restaurant, you will be greeted by a food ticket machine. If elderly people enter without knowing, they may be surprised (laughs). Everything is meat, so you can't immediately tell from the images and decide. When you choose the beef fillet cut steak and press "Next," you will be taken to a screen to choose additional meat. If you don't need additional meat, you have to press "Add to Cart" to proceed. At first, you may go back to the initial screen to check if there are only sets available, and it may take a second attempt to understand. Finally, press "Total Amount" for payment. There are various payment methods like barcode, credit card, electronic money, etc.
After completing the payment on the convenient payment terminal, a receipt will be printed, which you need to hand over to the staff to receive a call bell. Meanwhile, the food will be served in the order of tray, pickles, rice, miso soup, fork, water, and then the meat. If you are unsure, the standing staff will guide you to avoid any confusion (laughs). Once you receive the sizzling meat, take it to your table. There are also solo seats available, including tables and tatami mats.
For those who dislike rare meat, remember to flip the meat periodically. Personally, I prefer to cook the kimchi as I don't like it rare. The meat is tender and delicious, better than what you would get at a family restaurant. The bowls for miso soup and rice may seem cheap, but considering the price, there's no room for complaints (laughs). Be grateful and enjoy the meal, or you might face consequences.
The smell of grilled meat may stick to your clothes, so paper aprons are available for those who are concerned. Overall, it's worth the price. Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/
