This is a café located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building at the intersection of Shin-Midosuji and Miyakojima-dori. During lunchtime, they offer light meals as well as hamburgers and chicken dishes. I ordered the hamburger, which came with a fried egg, Napolitan pasta, salad, rice, and coffee/tea for 800 yen. The Napolitan pasta had a slightly spicy kick, which was a pleasant surprise considering the price. Payment is required upfront in cash, and smoking is allowed, so be mindful if that's a concern for you. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Outside of lunchtime, they offer a variety of hamburger options.

Atmosphere... Despite being small, it's surprisingly calming with a wood grain design. Cost performance... ★★★★★ (excellent). Budget... up to ¥1000. <<Key Points>> It's very affordable. Despite being right in the middle of Umeda, probably not many people know about it. All seats are smoking, which is a downside for me personally. It's a café facing a big intersection in Doyama, but surprisingly not crowded at all. Entrance is a bit dark and slightly intimidating. ◯Hamburger set (¥980) comes with a huge hamburger, plenty of salad, a mountain of potato salad, a half-cooked egg, and rice, all for ¥980 including coffee. To be honest, it's a steal. The hamburger has a cozy and delicious taste reminiscent of a café. Overall, a satisfying café experience right in the heart of Umeda! It was delicious. Note: I focus on cost performance rather than Instagrammable aesthetics. I post carefully selected reviews of Osaka restaurants, so please check out my Instagram @gogogohan.jp.

Coffee, salad, fried egg, ham sandwich, all for just 500 yen. It's delicious and clearly well-made, as it takes a little time from ordering to serving. The restaurant has a loft-like area where you can take off your shoes and relax. It was quite an interesting experience.

Slightly suspicious atmosphere. But the location is quite good, along a main street. But there's something strange about it. Going up the stairs and opening the door on the second floor, you enter a room with a loft on the second level. The loft prohibits shoes, so you have to take them off before going up, but once you're up there, you can stretch your legs and it's quite spacious. The menu offers a value set with either pilaf or Italian food. I ordered the Italian. First, a salad is served. The Italian dish comes with a fried egg and simple ingredients. The portion size is normal, maybe slightly small. I ended with a hot coffee as my drink. All in all, I think it's a good deal for 600 yen. Thank you for the meal.

There is a discussion about different names for spaghetti dishes in Japan, with "Napolitan" being used in East Japan and "Italian" in West Japan. I suddenly feel like eating spaghetti from a café. The classic topping of ketchup and Parmesan cheese is a must. The sausage (it may actually be ham) dances in your mouth as it mixes with the noodles. It's a great deal at 600 yen (tax included) with salad and a drink. The name here is still "Italian spaghetti" from the old days. But if you really want Napolitan, they have that too. The sunny-side-up egg on top might be a signature dish here, just like it is with pilaf.

The rice dish, more like a baked dish than pilaf, is priced at 600 yen including tax. The soy sauce aroma tickles the nose with a traditional flavor. The sunny-side-up egg on top is definitely a high point... the runny yolk melting into the rice mellows out the flavors. The rice is a mix of fluffy and moist... when you take a bite, the steam warms you up. It feels moist, but not sticky, more on the fluffy side. Being able to feel the shape of the rice in your mouth is what makes it special. And by adding the sunny-side-up egg, the steam covers it, bringing out the moistness. A salad and coffee or tea included at this price for lunch is what you call a reasonable deal!

I revisited the restaurant on 20181006 and the hamburger is still the best here! Without hesitation, I ordered the 300g one!

I revisited after a long time on June 21, and the business hours have been extended until 10 pm. The hamburger I ordered was delicious! This taste is hard to come by, similar to Kirinya in Kiyama-cho, Miyaki-gun, Saga Prefecture - a tender and juicy burger.

I used it for breakfast. The hot coffee is strong and delicious. The cup is slightly large. Next, I'd like to try going for lunch.

I haven't had the opportunity to visit this place for a long time. It's located at Dodoyama intersection, which is a place that should stand out. This was my first visit during lunchtime. The location is good, but it's a bit hard to find as it's on the second floor of a building. When you go up the stairs to the second floor and enter the restaurant, the staff comes rushing down from the third floor. The interior of the restaurant is quite unique. It has a mezzanine-like area and a three-dimensional feel that kids would enjoy. Here are the lunch menu options:
- Pilaf: 600 yen
- Italian spaghetti: 650 yen
- Beef curry: 650 yen
- Handmade hamburger: 800 yen
- Chicken with black beans: 800 yen
- Chicken teriyaki pilaf: 800 yen
- Hamburger pilaf: 800 yen
- Hamburger spaghetti: 800 yen
- Hamburger curry: 800 yen
All of the above come with coffee or tea and a salad. I ordered the hamburger curry. I wish they had provided a wet towel. The salad was just a regular sesame dressing. The hamburger curry was quite filling, topped with a fried egg, which was a nice surprise. The curry had a very ordinary taste but for 800 yen with a drink included, it's quite affordable. Bon appétit!

On May 31, 2014. After shopping in Umeda with friends, we were looking for a cafe in the Nakazaki area when we spotted a cafe-like sign near the corner of Dozan intersection. It seemed like the cafe was on the second floor of a small building. We entered the building and went up to the second floor. As we opened the red door, a melody signaled our entrance, and a staff member came down from the third floor - quite a surprise! We were seated at a table. Each table was separated and had its own space, giving a sense of privacy. I ordered a Hazelnut Latte for 550 yen. The staff member prepared the drink on the third floor and brought it down to the second floor. After finishing the drink, we could leave on our own, and a melody would play as a staff member came down to clear the table. The Hazelnut Latte was slightly sweet but had a strong hazelnut flavor, which I enjoyed. The cafe had a unique atmosphere, focusing on privacy, where you could relax without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a fitting cafe for scenes where privacy is important. Thank you for the meal!

Question (corner of Doyama-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka)
After a meeting in Chayamachi, I had lunch with Ninja-san and Apprentice Photographer No. 2. There were a few unvisited shops near the office, but we passed by them. Eventually, we arrived at Doyama-cho intersection with Boatpia. The shop we visited today had "Question" written on it, but it was hard to pronounce. The shop had two floors, and we first went up to the second floor, but the door was locked. A staff member opened the door and directed us to the third floor. The air inside was hazy due to poor ventilation. Despite this, we decided to order lunch without worrying too much. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken Pilaf, which came with a drink for 800 yen. We waited for a while and were served a salad first. The pilaf was more like fried rice, but it had a strong aroma. I ended up getting the pilaf aroma on my clothes.

The hamburgers at this place are incredibly delicious. I hadn't been here since my friend brought me late at night, but when I came the other day after drinking late again... Oh, it was closed (laughs). Tuesdays are their regular holiday... I happened to have Wednesday off, so after going to the city office (to submit a change of address) and the hospital (to pick up a referral letter), I visited at 3:15 PM. Even though it was past lunchtime, they said it was okay to order. I asked, "Didn't you use to be open late at night?" and they said they are now open from morning to night only... orz. I ordered the hand-kneaded hamburger set for 800 yen, which comes with coffee or tea after the meal. I got an iced coffee with my hamburger, and it was incredibly delicious and tender! I'm glad I was able to come here before I move. As I was leaving, I confirmed that after lunchtime, the hand-kneaded hamburger set is 980 yen. I can't come during the day, so I'll visit again at night. I slightly edited the photos I took at this place when I visited on September 12, 2012. [Changes made] I deleted the photos taken with iPhone4 and uploaded the ones taken with a digital camera.

Met up with a friend in Umeda. After eating and shopping, we looked for a tea shop. Found a quirky shop in a mixed-use building with a sign that made it hard to find the entrance. Found a narrow staircase and went up. Inside, it was hard to figure out where to sit in the small three-story space, with a loft-style seating area where you had to take off your shoes. There were only five tables in total. The server noticed us from the third floor and came down. They spoke broken Japanese but had an exotic vibe. The shop had a nice woody scent. I ordered a flavored cappuccino (550 yen) and the server advised me to mix it first and then check the sweetness level. It was already sweet enough with the sugar provided. It was delicious, a nice change from my usual black coffee. The server was unusually friendly, mentioning that they had seen me earlier when I was on my bike. The shop had Ferrari flags and parts of the body on display. It was a prime location in Umeda. It was worth having tea at this price. I almost forgot I was in the city for a moment.
