Shatoreize is now a well-known and affordable sweets chain store that offers a variety of Japanese and Western confectionery. They have a wide range of sweets that are reasonably priced, making them very popular. I visited on a weekday and found that the prices are indeed low. It's perfect for a quick snack or to serve unexpected guests. The lineup is impressive and the store was quite busy. I decided to try their famous Choco Barkey ice cream, which is known for its great value at only 64 yen per bar. The ice cream had a crispy chocolate coating and a decent flavor. It may not be outstanding, but it is a crowd-pleaser. Overall, Shatoreize offers a variety of affordable and consistent quality sweets that are perfect for everyday use. If you have the chance, it's worth a visit to one of their stores. The quality remains the same no matter which store you visit.

The standard size of the Chateraise store is comfortable. The rice cakes bought in the basement of the department store are three times cheaper. I purchased yomogi rice cakes with red bean paste, strawberry shortcake, ice candy, frozen pizza, and melon bread. They were all delicious. It would be great if they also sold milk. It's a shame they only have yogurt.

I tried a snack similar to Chateraise's Raisin Butter Sandwich and it was delicious! The name of the snack is Chateau Lezan. It was so good, perfect for bringing as a gift.

Shatoreze's Choco Bucky can now be bought at Life, and their Choco Mochi, Dorayaki, and other snacks are so cost-effective for enjoying at home. Shatoreze is a friend to the common people. If I had a separate freezer at home, I would probably buy 2-3 more bags of ice cream. For now, I chose sweets mainly for children. Looking forward to the evening.

On New Year's Eve, I decided to bring some tea sweets to my aunt's house for dinner. Instead of going to a nearby dessert shop, I took a walk to this place. I bought a Japanese apple pie for 550 yen. Originally, I planned to get the premium apple pie for each person, but since we were having sukiyaki at my aunt's house, I chose this one to share among three people. The pie crust was crispy and had a great buttery aroma and flavor! The apples on top had a slightly crunchy texture and were juicy. I warmed it up a bit in the toaster oven, which was the right choice! It was my first time trying out Chateraise, and I was impressed by the delicious apple pie they offer. I didn't buy the premium apple pie this time, but I have high expectations for it!

There is a new store opening between Teramachi Station and Momodani Station! Due to COVID-19 prevention measures, there was a limit on the number of people allowed inside, so I had to wait about 5 minutes outside the store. The store isn't very big, so thanks to the limit, I was able to take my time looking around. You can buy items individually, so it's easy to end up putting a variety of things in your basket, but today I was just checking things out. I ended up buying our household favorites, Choco Baki, and a few snacks. All the items in the photo cost less than 1,000 yen in total! The cost performance is really great! I couldn't wait to get home and try the cream puffs and eclairs. They were delicious with lots of cream. Although Shatres is a bit pricey, the freshly baked apple pie looked delicious, so I'm determined to go back and buy it next time!
