Parents and I went out for a meal occasionally. We decided to try a new place. When we sat down, a cheerful waitress greeted us. When we asked about the portion size of the meat platter, she explained different options, but seemed to be pushing the more expensive one. The service was slow, probably because of the new staff. The waitress seemed frustrated. We tried the recommended meat platter which cost 5400 yen, but it disappeared quickly. The quality of the meat, especially the skirt steak, was outstanding. The menu mostly consisted of smaller dishes. I wonder how much the cost price is? Also, when the hormone was grilled, too much oil splattered. The grill should not be used for grilling meat. We were also recommended the butter-grilled squid, but the squid itself was not great and the dish was disappointing. Perhaps this place is best enjoyed with small dishes to accompany drinks. If you use it incorrectly, you may regret it. The takoyaki was delicious! It's no surprise, considering it's a takoyaki place!

I want to go to a teppanyaki restaurant! I hope I can go there safely soon. Had lunch in Roppongi Matsubara. The takoyaki and shigi-yaki were delicious. The teppanyaki is a popular spot with locals, open for lunch. They also offer takeout! They are currently open and operating while taking safety measures. Had a Black Nikka highball to cheers. How about that takoyaki? It was soft and delicious. The sauce is sweeter here compared to Hiroshima. I don't remember the taste much because I was a bit tipsy when I entered. Next time, I want to try okonomiyaki. I also want to try the yakisoba! I wonder if it's warm? This place is a rare find in Fukuoka, as teppanyaki restaurants are common in Osaka. Note to self... When I went back to my parents' house, I brought my own child and their cousins. The women in the family immediately set up a girls' night out, leaving ko-tz to look after the kids. We chose this restaurant, which has takoyaki, teppanyaki, and monjayaki on the menu. There are plenty of dishes that the kids like, so it's a good choice! We were seated on the second floor. It's packed tonight! There are a lot of families with children here. There's a teppan on the table in the tatami room, so you can cook okonomiyaki, monjayaki, and even takoyaki yourself! But tonight, with three kids, we decided to have the takoyaki prepared for us. We ordered takoyaki with sauce, salted chicken nuggets, a mountain of potato fries, boiled octopus, monjayaki with mentaiko and cheese, and okonomiyaki. The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Delicious! The kids were thrilled with the crispy chicken nuggets. The adults took care of the octopus bits. And then the monjayaki arrived! It seemed like the kids were seeing it for the first time, and they were fascinated watching it cook. Using the spatula to eat it is fun, right? This place is great for kids! The staff even gave the kids rings to wear on their wrists. If we come back for another visit, we'll definitely come back to this restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I am a regular customer at this restaurant and I want others on Tabelog to know about its wonderful aspects. About 3-4 years ago, we used to cook our own takoyaki at the table, but due to the pandemic, that is no longer possible. The takoyaki here is delicious, especially the "Appare Three Variety Mix" which is my favorite. I always order it along with a mountain of potato, which is also a must-try.

Great customer service, delicious food! The okonomiyaki was incredibly tasty! We ordered a set with three different kinds of takoyaki and karaage. Personally, I prefer the regular sauce flavor over salted takoyaki. The mayonnaise was just right. The karaage was lightly seasoned and easy to eat!

Rokumonmatsu Bar Walk offers a variety of dishes for 300 yen each, such as Lime Shochu Highball, Corona Beer, Original Takoyaki with sauce, and Grilled Butter Squid.

Ropponmatsu Bar Walk, 6th stop... the last one. There was a stamp rally going on, and if you visited 6 places you could get a coupon book, so I ended up pushing myself to finish it. Next up was "Tenshare" in the Kusagae area. This place is part of the same group as Genkiya in Yakuin, but unlike the other shops, this one is a two-story, impressive izakaya. The draft beer is served in a proper beer mug. The Bar Walk menu featured popular dishes from 3 different group restaurants. I tried the "Yawa" chicken thigh here, with plenty of grated ponzu sauce for only 300 yen. Lastly, I had the wagyu beef soup... the final soup of the 6-stop bar crawl. It was so comforting...
