After buying bread at Fab Land, I stopped by Here Kyoto on the way to the hotel to also get coffee. I arrived a little after 9 o'clock. There were many customers here as well, but over 80% were foreign tourists. Two women were serving, but I ended up waiting for over 20 minutes for my iced coffee and iced latte. The coffee itself had a mild acidity, which I personally liked.

The interior was simple and very stylish. The outlets were evenly spaced and seemed convenient. The atmosphere was cozy and I think it's a space that would look great in photos. I ordered an iced cafe latte, a canelé, and French toast. The canelé had a crispy exterior and a chewy inside, and it tasted authentic.

I heard that their canelé is very famous here, but I went for their French toast! I was a bit worried because the menu on Tabelog didn't show anything other than canelé, but they did have it! The French toast had a hint of salt, was crispy and fluffy, and was exactly to my liking! The staff may not be the friendliest, but they efficiently went about their work. It's self-service for both picking up and cleaning, so be aware! I was recommended the canelé, so I bought one to take home. I'm not usually a fan of canelé, but theirs was moist inside and I personally loved it!

Located about a 5-6 minute walk west from Karasuma Oike Station, near Sanjo-dori between Nijo Castle, this cafe is famous for its canelés and also offers online sales. I visited around 10 a.m. on a holiday. Despite the early hour, it was quite busy, even more so than around 11 a.m. The spacious interior has both table seating and a few counter seats. I ordered a canelé and an iced cafe latte. The canelé had a crispy exterior, especially on the top and bottom, while the inside was moist. It was creamy but not overly sticky, with a fluffy creaminess that was of a high level in terms of texture. The taste didn't have much rum aroma and leaned towards vanilla, making it a canelé that everyone can enjoy. Personally, I prefer when the rum flavor is stronger, but objectively, I think it's delicious. The atmosphere was relatively relaxed, making it a great place to leisurely spend a morning.

During my trip to Kyoto, I stopped by for a break while walking around the city. I had seen on Instagram that the canelés and café latté looked delicious, so I just went ahead and ordered them (lol). I thought it might be a place focused on aesthetics, but... the canelés were incredibly delicious!!! I had thought that the differences in canelés were just about the crispiness, but this one was fundamentally different. The outside was crispy and fragrant, while the inside was incredibly chewy. It was not just chewy, but more like... squishy, with a juicy chewiness. It was a deliciousness I had never experienced before, and I was truly impressed. I enjoyed it while dipping it in the café latté. The café latté was also delicious, with a fragrant taste of the coffee beans. Luckily, I visited during a quiet time, so the spacious and open interior made for a pleasant stay. Thank you for the meal!

I walked from Hankyu Karasuma Station, so it took a bit of time, but I'm glad I came because the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and I could feel their attention to detail in the interior. I was able to relax for about an hour! I had a café latte and a canelé. The latte art was very cute.

A stylish cafe located 5-6 minutes from Karasuma Oike. The interior is spacious and airy. The iconic and cute logo "here" can be found in various places. Ordered a cafe latte and the popular canelé. Despite the owner originally not liking coffee, the coffee served is mild and easy to drink. The latte art is very impressive! The canelé is moist, just the right amount of sweetness, and easy to eat without a strong rum flavor. The individually wrapped packaging is a nice touch. Note that pickup and cleanup are self-service! ☑️Cafe Latte Blend 500 yen ☑️Coco Canelé 350 yen

Non-smoking seats, no parking lot, rating 3.50. There is a shop on the first floor of a beautiful hotel called "Momo (Nagi) Kyoto Sanjo." Today, I took my friend to the dentist and planned to enjoy the waiting time at the café. There are many cafes and coffee shops in Kyoto. It's no wonder they are the number one consumers of coffee. ☑️Americano 500 yen. Surprisingly, the cup is a paper cup. There is also a lid, so maybe many people take it to go? The woman before me also got a takeout. I imagined something thin like American coffee, but it's very strong. I didn't particularly want Americano, but the only options were espresso and café latte, so I chose Americano by process of elimination. But it's delicious coffee. I wanted to drink it in a cup. ☑️Coco Canele 350 yen. French confectionery Canele. I don't particularly like Canele, but since this is the only thing to eat, I got one. It's quite pricey for one small piece of pastry at 350 yen. When I tried it, the outside was crispy and the inside was moist and gooey, making it the most delicious Canele I've ever had. However, I don't have many opportunities to eat Canele. It's self-service to pick up and clean up.

On my way back from buying matcha at Marukyu Koyamaen Nishinotoindori store, I stumbled upon a stylish cafe nearby (about a 1-minute walk?). I casually walked in and found the interior with concrete and foliage very stylish! Oh, it's pay first. Oh, the canelé looks delicious♪ I ordered it with coffee. It was subtly sweet, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside with a berry and lime cream that had a delicious sweet and sour taste♪ Both the coffee and canelé were delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stylish ambiance. One thing to note is that there are no signs, so it's a bit hard to figure out, but the return area for trays, etc., is at the back of the store. It's a self-service cafe, so you'll get scolded if you don't clean up. I got a bit upset and ended up writing complaints, but I realized it was self-service, so I rewrote my review. My apologies. The canelé and coffee were really delicious!

I visited this café that caught my attention♪ It's a café that I've been wanting to visit once I come to Kyoto. Since I visited first thing in the morning, there were few customers and I was able to relax in the shop! It's a stylish and cozy place with a nice atmosphere! This time, I ordered a café latte and a coconut canelé. The latte art was lovely♡ Even though I'm not a fan of coffee, I enjoyed the café latte♪ It was easy to drink as it had little bitterness! The coconut canelé was also delicious♪ I would like to visit again♡

A must-visit cafe in Kyoto! here@here.kyoto Cafe Latte for 550 yen Cannele This shop near Nijo Castle blends in with the streets of Kyoto and is a super stylish cafe. The Cannele (my personal favorite LOL) was crispy on the outside and moist inside, really delicious. The cafe latte was also tasty. They serve the cafe latte hot with a Cannele on the side. It was too hot to handle (it was a scorching hot summer day). The interior is spacious and stylish, and the staff are also stylish. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday, so it felt like a private reservation (LOL). The customers who came in later were stylish and creative-looking, mostly young women like college students. The customers were fashionable and excited to be there alone. In the end, I, who looked like a traveler, felt a bit embarrassed and moved on to the next shop (LOL). The merchandise with the shop's logo "here" on T-shirts and bottles was also cute. Definitely check it out when you're near the national treasure Nijo Castle.

Located a 5-7 minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station, here is a stylish cafe that becomes packed from lunchtime to evening due to its popularity. You can enjoy a leisurely time combining coffee with canelé. It's rare for such a stylish cafe to provide power outlets, making it appealing for working while charging. This time, I had an iced cafe au lait and canelé. The canelé, with its crispy surface, is a perfect sweet treat when you want something slightly sweet. Its rich sweetness paired excellently with the superb coffee's bitterness and flavor! This very popular and stylish cafe among women, so be sure to visit. Thank you for the meal! *Instagram food account: https://www.instagram.com/shunsuke.naka/ (Over 10,000 followers!)

It was within walking distance from the hotel where I stayed, so I went to buy canelé before checking in, but they were sold out, which was disappointing. They told me they would have canelé the next morning, so I went there right after they opened. Canelé - ¥350 They were in a stylish triangular bag, but it was recommended to eat them on the same day as they were slightly opened at the top. I tried it in between travels, and it was a canelé with a crispy texture, less pronounced, with a strong taste of egg yolk and sweetness. It's a canelé that even children would enjoy. It was a stylish shop with a glass front that made me think of a beauty salon, typical of Kyoto. I regret not being able to have coffee.

I visited around 1 p.m. on Saturday. It was lunchtime, but I was able to enter the restaurant easily and there were about half of the seats available. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's easy to spend time chatting or just relaxing. The cafe latte and canelé were delicious, not mind-blowing, but good. I think it's a nice place overall, focusing more on the ambiance and comfort than just the taste. It's located in a quieter area of Kyoto, away from the main streets, so I recommend this place if you're tired of crowds!

I visited around 3:00 PM on a holiday. I ordered an iced cafe latte for 550 yen and a canelé for 350 yen. The first sip of coffee was delicious! The latte had a nice aroma, not too strong, and the coffee itself was rich and tasty. The shop was bustling with young women, and it operated on a system where you order first and then find a seat. The interior was clean, simple, and natural. It felt a bit intimidating to dine in alone, so I opted for takeout. There were two bench seats outside the shop, and at first, I thought they were for waiting in line. Some people were taking their takeout orders and sitting there, so it seems there are various ways to use those seats. I enjoyed the canelé at home the next day. Perhaps it was crispy the day before. I like the moist texture of the canelé on the second day, reminiscent of a rich castella cake. I prefer canelés with a rum flavor, but this one was sweet without the rum taste. Even though I had it at home, it paired well with coffee.

The review was very positive, so I was curious about the canelé. The place was almost full when I visited, so I only bought the canelé I was looking for. It was wonderful. Certainly, it's the number one canelé in the world. A friend who recommended it also liked it, and the location is easy to find - just head straight south from Okuninushi Shrine. I feel like I'll definitely stop by when I visit Kyoto.

During my food adventure in Kyoto, I decided to check out a cafe that caught my eye. The place I headed to was here cafe. The open glass door and simple, minimalist design with plants inside created a stylish and spacious atmosphere where I could relax. It was a sunny day in September, so I ordered an iced cafe latte. I also got the Coco Cannele that I was looking forward to. The cafe latte, rich in milk, had a pleasant coffee aroma that gently wafted through my nose. The Cannele was inspired by the one the owner encountered in Paris and recreated through trial and error. Its cute round shape was appealing. When I took a bite, the outside was crispy while the inside was chewy. The rum flavor was just right, giving it a satisfying taste.

About a 10-minute walk west from Karasuma Oike in Kyoto. Facing a quiet street, with an open façade. The interior is quite spacious and has a sense of openness. Order at the entrance and then take a seat. On this day, I had the following: 1. Cafe Latte Blend 550 yen (by the way, a single is 600 yen) The blend is from Guatemala, Brazil, and Ethiopia. It had beautiful latte art. 2. Coco Canele 350 yen "here" is Coco Canele. It had a substantial texture and was delicious. Towards the back, there is a full-fledged kitchen, making me wonder if they will expand the food menu or even hold cooking classes. It's a cozy café.

I ordered a canelé, affogato, and iced latte at this café I've always wanted to visit. The atmosphere is light and lovely! They really care about their coffee here, and the affogato was delicious. Having it with a canelé was also tasty! It's nice to have a hot latte with a canelé too. The area near Karasuma Oike is like a café kingdom, perfect for café hopping.
