A new afternoon tea sweets shop located between Yoyogi Park and Shibuya opened on 9/5. I went for a pre-opening and tried the Angel Afternoon Tea in the summer yellow version for 8800 yen. Starting with a passion fruit macaron, coconut and mango mousse, and finishing with mango kanten, I enjoyed a fruity selection of sweets. The highlight was the white peach mousse with red peach jelly inside, decorated with angel-themed chocolate, which was very cute. The balance of sweetness and acidity was perfect, and the refreshing peach flavor spread in my mouth with each bite. There are 19 types of drinks available, from black tea to herbal tea and chai, with cute angel-patterned teapots. The 2-hour all-you-can-drink option was a nice touch. The atmosphere inside the shop was calm, and the staff provided attentive service. I was able to enjoy a fresh and refreshing summer afternoon tea.
