Visited the store to purchase sake for New Year's. This is a local liquor store that is closely connected to the community, specializing in selling alcohol only. Previously, they participated in the local "Ropponmatsu Walk" (a drinking event in the area) and only opened for corner sales on event days. I remembered the store because I had used it before during those events. The store is neatly organized with a wide variety of sake, mainly focusing on famous ones from Kyushu and the surrounding areas. They also accept local premium product vouchers, which was convenient for shopping. I purchased the familiar Dassai 23 polished sake (6590 yen) and the striking ReiZan ReiZan Junmai (2340 yen), a collaboration with Fist of the North Star. It is a refreshing Junmai sake brewed with Kumamoto Prefecture's sake rice "Hananishiki," and the bottle is also beautiful. With a clear layout, it's easy to find what you're looking for in the store, even with a wide selection.

Ropponmatsu Bar Walk... Third stop! Heading to "Takahashi Saketen," the southernmost location on the map. It's rare to participate in a corner bar at a liquor store. However, this place also has a physical store in the back where they seem to be skilled at making dishes. The interior of the store doesn't have a wide variety of alcohol, with selections like Kubota and Kanbei for sake, and Takarayama for shochu. They don't even have beer, giving it more of a select shop vibe. On the Bar Walk menu, you can enjoy Kubota's Junmai Daiginjo for 300 yen! They also offer fresh sake for standing drinking. The Junmai Daiginjo has a well-polished aroma, and the fresh sake has a unique scent. As for the food, they serve a platter of three items: crab miso, simmered egg, and miso-marinated cream cheese. The crab miso has a satisfying texture and is very delicious. Since it's a standing bar, we didn't stay long and finished up.
