I discovered a smoked food stand at the end of Ura Kyobashi in search of delicious sake and delicious food. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Kyobashi Station, heading northeast towards Kyoto on the Keihan viaduct. It's not exactly close to the station, but there was a stylish stand illuminated by indirect lighting. The place is called Smoked Viaduct Stand, so all the dishes are smoked. They even have a drink called Smoked Highball. I want to try it again. The dish that left an impression on me was the Ahijo. Is this also smoked...? I wonder how they do it. Anyway, it was delicious. As for the drinks, they have a rare Scotch whisky called Ardbeg. (They're really stepping up their game...) The atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet and cozy, so I would recommend it for girls' night out or a date. (The counter is also spacious.) I definitely want to go back again.

The wait for the course meal priced at 3500 yen was quite long. It may be because of the smoked dishes... There was a long gap between dishes, and my friend and I were wondering if the course had ended. The restaurant seemed fully booked and was being run by around 3 staff members, so it must have been tough. The food was delicious, so I plan to visit again for a la carte dishes. Thank you for the meal.

I have always been curious about this chic and calm restaurant I occasionally pass by. So, my friend and I made a reservation and went there on a Saturday. We were seated at the counter and ordered the smoked platter we were looking forward to! The platter arrived in a covered cocotte, trapping the smoke inside. When we opened it, a nice smoky aroma filled the air, and it felt really stylish. The assortment was all nicely smoked and very delicious! My friend especially loved the smoked cheese, while I favored the smoked salmon! The smoked rare beef also had smoke coming out when the lid was lifted. It was self-service where you could sear the meat and egg, allowing us to enjoy both rare and medium at the same time! The meat was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth! It was also amazing with the egg! There were still many smoked menu items left to try, so I definitely want to come back and taste more! The restaurant, the food, and the staff were all wonderful!

I came to a smoked food stand located under the Keihan train tracks. Every time a train passes overhead, there is a rumbling sound from the ceiling, making it a situation where Sound Iron could probably identify the type of passing train. I quenched my thirst with a sugar-free lemon sour. The appetizer was a smoked beef soup. I was enveloped in the nice aroma of smoked food. I ordered a variety of smoked foods. A small lidded Dutch oven arrived. It seems that the nice aroma of smoked food is trapped inside the lid. When I lifted the heavy iron lid, inside there was a platter of smoked bacon, smoked sausages, smoked salmon, smoked cheese, smoked eggs, and smoked mackerel. I was surrounded by the nice aroma of smoked food. The scent was so good, it felt like eating at a campsite. I had smoked keema curry. The keema curry had smoked nuts and smoked raisins on top, and I added broth halfway through to change the flavor. When I asked for the bill, a complimentary cranberry sherbet was served. The restaurant seems to be particular about smoking, has a nice atmosphere, and feels unique in Kyobashi. The ingredients for the meal are smoked later for added flavor, so it's basically cold smoked. The taste and presentation are good, but in terms of cost performance, it's a bit of a concern. If you want to enjoy a stylish atmosphere and delicious snacks, it's great, but it might not be the best choice for a first stop. The restaurant is small and only has one chef, so be prepared for a long wait after ordering.

First visit. Found a stylish izakaya near Kyobashi. The atmosphere is very trendy and it seems like it could become popular with word of mouth. The menu is extremely diverse, with drinks even being smoked, giving off a very elaborate impression. However, the service staff seemed to be beginners? and there were many instances where things didn't quite mesh. Looking forward to improvements in the future.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the staff was good. However, the contents of the trial course were not satisfying. I wish there were more smoked dishes. The anchovy ahijo and smoked pasta were delicious.
