I went for the first time at night, even though it's close by. I was a little hesitant about going alone since there were no counter seats, but the food was delicious and the drinks were great. I'm thinking I'd like to invite someone next time.

Lunch for the first day of work. A 500 yen chicken cutlet set meal. The cost performance is good.

I went to have lunch with my colleagues at a restaurant and ordered the chicken cutlet set with demi-glace sauce. The taste was not particularly delicate, but it had a sufficient amount of food for lunch and I think it offers good value for the cost.

Today, I came here to this place. It seems to be a chain restaurant specializing in skewers and yakitori for the night, with a coffee shop, a Chinese restaurant, and a convenience store on the same premises. When I arrived at 1 o'clock, I was surprised to see many customers already there. The slightly dimly lit interior had a kitchen space on the right side that couldn't be seen from the entrance, with table and sunken kotatsu seats that provided a moderate level of privacy. The menu for lunch was quite diverse and reasonably priced, catering to individuals as well as groups of colleagues. After some thought, I decided to go with the fried chicken set since this is a yakitori restaurant. I ordered the "fried chicken set" which came with 6 large pieces of chicken, spaghetti salad, cherry tomatoes, and shredded cabbage. Squeezing some lemon over the hot and juicy chicken, it was delicious, although the rice was disappointing as it was mushy and almost paste-like. It was a shame considering the recent trend of chain restaurants focusing on high-quality rice. Despite the rice mishap, I managed to finish the meal. The service was brisk and attentive, allowing me to relax and enjoy my meal. Overall, it was a good experience, and I look forward to coming back again. Wheelchair accessible, washlet in the back, and plenty of shared parking available.

We visited as a family and noticed that many other tables were also occupied by families. It seems to be the norm at this place. Nevertheless, we had a great time thanks to the family-friendly atmosphere. The food was typical for an izakaya, but what stood out was the family-friendly environment. It would be nice if they could also have a non-smoking section.

On this day, I had work in Hirakata City. My partner for the day was N, who I had lunch with at Tenkaippin Yamashina Store before. After finishing our morning task, we decided to stop for lunch before heading back to the office. We ended up at "Kushitora Hirakata Store" near JR Fujisaka Station, as there were limited ramen options in the area. We initially planned to go to another restaurant but ended up at Kushitora by chance. It was our first time visiting this restaurant for lunch. The interior was dimly lit with a lot of cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant. Despite that, we ordered the Chicken Katsu Tamago Toji Set Meal and the Demi-Glace Chicken Katsu Set Meal. The food was surprisingly delicious, with a generous portion of chicken katsu and flavorful side dishes. Overall, it was a satisfying meal despite the smoky environment.

I was attracted to the one-coin lunch, but ended up changing to the 580 yen ginger pork dish. The restaurant offers a variety of lunches ranging from around 800 yen. In the evening, it turns into an izakaya with tables separated into spaces for four people each. There are quite a few families dining here. The ginger pork dish had a generous amount of bean sprouts, even overflowing. But I have no complaints about the portion size. The meat was surprisingly delicious and made the rice disappear quickly. The staff were efficient and the lunch is cheap, making it a good option for families. Despite this, the restaurant seems to have low ratings... Well, this is just my opinion based on the lunch experience.

The assorted skewers were decent with a crispy texture, but the flavors were just okay. However, the tamagoyaki lacked seasoning and tasted bland. The scallops were small and overcooked. The seasonal recommended yellowtail nigiri that was on the menu was forgotten until we reminded them after finishing everything else, and we still had to wait. The rice was strangely warm and didn't taste like sushi rice, with thin, oddly red toppings that made us doubt if it was really yellowtail. The sushi itself was small and looked nothing like the photos. The prices were reasonable, but anything other than the skewers was disappointing. I don't think I'll visit again. The staff were somewhat friendly, but lacked attentiveness. We ordered sushi but didn't even get served tea. Maybe it was self-service?

Passing by the izakaya chain "Kushi-tora," specializing in kushikatsu and yakitori, I couldn't resist the temptation of the daily set meal for 780 yen! It was past 1 pm and I was the only customer in the empty restaurant. The staff greeted me warmly and I ordered the daily set meal with 10 pieces of kushikatsu. The atmosphere was a bit lonely with the quiet background music echoing in the large empty space. The set meal arrived on a big plate with cute skewers, each one fried to perfection. The salad was average, and the side dish was a vinegar-soaked glass noodle. It seemed like the restaurant was more lively at night, but the energetic staff's loud voices felt somewhat hollow in the quiet environment. Despite that, the food was delicious! Thank you for the meal! Maybe they could lower their voices a bit and still be heard just fine!

There was a new restaurant called Kushi-Tora nearby, which seemed like a big franchise, so I hadn't gone there before. But on this day, all the other places were crowded, so I decided to give it a try. When I entered the restaurant, the staff were energetic and it had a casual izakaya vibe, which was nice. The food came out surprisingly fast, which made me wonder how they prepared it so quickly. However, the seafood sashimi and sushi, which were advertised as being sourced directly from the origin, turned out to be quite disappointing. The fish was not as tasty as I had hoped. Overall, the flavors were too strong, but at least the alcohol went down smoothly. I don't think I'll be going back, but for those who do, I would recommend sticking to the skewers.

We went as a family of four on Sunday. It was around 8 o'clock and the restaurant was full, so we had to wait for about 15 minutes. While waiting, we looked at the menu and decided what to order. The seasonal menu recommended the buri (yellowtail) sushi, so we decided to order that. We usually order the 10-piece sushi set, but we were swayed by the staff's recommendation since it was in season. Typically, we order the popular 10-piece kushikatsu set, tsukune set, kamameshi, and chicken karaage. The tsukune is especially delicious. The texture of the coarsely ground meat combined with the sauce is exquisite. The chicken karaage is also recommended as it can be eaten lightly with grated ponzu sauce. Even with four people, it turns out to be surprisingly affordable, so it's one of my favorite restaurants.

It's a great place for drinking parties as it has semi-private rooms. You can order all-you-can-drink courses along with food. The staff is energetic and comes to your table quickly. They also clear empty plates promptly. I would love to go back again.
