I ordered ramen and abura soba. Abura soba is lighter than ramen, so it is easier to eat. The ramen has a delicious soup that becomes addictive, especially when you add extra red miso for a spicy kick. With prices at 580 yen and 680 yen, it is also affordable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First visit. Ramen for 680 yen. Purchased a ticket for salmon mayo rice for 140 yen. The salmon mayo rice had plenty of mayo and salmon flakes. A menu that could easily be made at home. The amount of rice was decent, so 140 yen might be a good deal. The ramen was on the richer side, but the taste was mellow. There was hardly any unpleasant smell. The soup paired well with the rice. The majority of customers ordered the ramen to be firm, but having it firm was just right. I enjoy the soup and noodles. The one slice of chashu was a bit lacking. The seaweed was a nice touch. Not sure what the green vegetables were, they didn't stand out too much and didn't disrupt the soup. The boiled egg was a quail egg, which was unusual. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant around 3 p.m. after enjoying food in Dazaifu. After taking a bite of the ramen, I couldn't help but exclaim, "Delicious!" The fried rice had a basic and easy-to-eat flavor. The seasoning sauce on the table also paired well with the dishes. I even thought about ordering a large serving after finishing my meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I often go out to eat with friends around 9 pm, close to when the date changes. Even at late hours, there are many customers, so depending on the timing, there may be a wait outside. I highly recommend the Spicy Negi Ramen! If you like spicy food, you must try this dish. Also, there is spicy takana on the table, so if you feel it's not spicy enough, you can add more heat. Personally, I find it spicy enough even without the takana. It's not light, but not too heavy either, and you can even finish the soup because it's so delicious. I will definitely go back to eat there. Thank you for the meal.

This is a revisit. To be honest, I hadn't been here since it first opened, so it had been quite a while. I didn't have a good impression of the ramen here before, but that changed this time. I came for a solo dinner. I bought a ramen ticket from the machine at the entrance, but was surprised to find it almost full. The reason for my revisit was because I heard from the Z generation that it was delicious. The ramen had quail eggs and spinach in it, giving it a healthy impression. The taste was great, so I definitely want to come back for lunch next time.

Located in Ohashi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, "Kaiton-ya" is a ramen restaurant known for its tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. I used to visit this place regularly when I lived in Ohashi. This time, after a two-year hiatus, I ordered the regular ramen. Upon taking a sip of the soup, I noticed that it wasn't hot, more lukewarm in fact. Additionally, there seemed to be more oil in the broth compared to before. It was a bit disappointing as it didn't quite live up to my nostalgic memories of the ramen from the past.

I visited this restaurant recommended by a senior colleague. Despite already having consumed more than one bottle of shochu, I managed to arrive at the restaurant in a very tipsy state. It was around 23:40 and there were about 4 people waiting, so it seems to be a popular place. I was seated quickly, within 5-6 minutes. I chose the char siu ramen and was promptly served within 2-3 minutes. Some reviews mentioned it as a "home-style" ramen, but to me it felt more like a pork bone soy sauce broth. It had a somewhat oily appearance, different from the Fukuoka style I had in mind. But when I tasted it, it was surprisingly delicious. The rich pork bone flavor was prominent, and the oiliness didn't bother me at all. The thin, straight noodles were firm and tasty, complementing the soup well. The toppings of white leeks, spinach, and quail egg balanced nicely with the soup, giving it a hot pot-like feel. The fatty char siu was moist and tender, enhancing the overall taste. I finished it quickly. The sweet and gentle soup warmed my stomach and felt good for my body. I can see why it could become addictive. I definitely want to visit again.

I went to a ramen shop recommended by a friend and had to come back the next day because it was crowded late at night. The staff seemed a bit intimidating. I think I had tried this ramen once when I lived in Kyushu, but this experience far surpassed that. I had been away from tonkotsu ramen since moving to Kanto, but this rich soup with spicy pickled mustard greens mixed in and thin noodles was outstanding. Tonkotsu ramen is definitely the best. Thank you!

This is a recommended ramen shop in Fukuoka. When it comes to soy sauce tonkotsu ramen, this is the place to go. The rich soup and thin noodles are distinctive. The owner's personality, atmosphere, everything is great. It's not the typical Hakata ramen, but it's loved by locals.

Recently, I went to have ramen at a popular spot in Minami Ward, Fukuoka called Hakata Umigoya Ohashi. I suddenly had a craving for it, so I decided to stop by for lunch. There was a bit of a line, but since I was dining alone, I was able to get a seat at the counter right away. The ramen (extra firm noodles) had a rich and creamy soup that perfectly coated the thin noodles... it was absolutely delicious. Visited the restaurants "Kaito Ya" and "Ohashi" in Ohashi, which is known for being a competitive ramen district with many ramen shops in the area. I tried the spicy negi ramen at Ohashi. When you think of Kaito Ya, you think of soy sauce tonkotsu ramen, but their ramen is also delicious! Kaito Ya's ramen is said to not have a strong tonkotsu smell, and now that I think about it, the smell is indeed less noticeable compared to other shops. I enjoyed the soup with a salty flavor and mixed in the spicy negi. As someone who loves tonkotsu ramen, I felt a bit lonely without the tonkotsu flavor, but I can see why many people are fans of this style. Ramen is a deep world... I also added some spicy pickled mustard greens and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I asked about the family lineage of the ramen shop, but there was a long line because the neighboring shop was closed. I ordered the No. 1 popular ramen for 680 yen and a side of rice for 150 yen. The appearance looked like a traditional family-style ramen, but when I took a sip of the soup, it was a light pork bone soy sauce flavor, so I couldn't resist adding extra ramen sauce. It suddenly became a soup that went well with the family-style rice, and I finished it all in one go. The noodles were thin, so it might be different from traditional family-style ramen. It seems to be a popular shop in Nishijin as well.

I had some errands to run and ended up in Ohashi, so I decided to go to the popular restaurant Iruka-ya. Ohashi seems to be a competitive area for ramen shops. I saw so many ramen shops while walking around! Iruka-ya doesn't take breaks, so it was convenient that they were open even at odd times. I ordered the ramen and egg rice set. The modern-style tonkotsu ramen goes well with the egg rice. Quail eggs look cute but a regular egg would be better in terms of quantity. The ramen had a well-balanced taste that would appeal to everyone. The soup had just the right amount of saltiness and was easy to drink. The portion was small, so I finished it quickly. After work, I decided to have dinner and drove to Ohashi Station. It's been a while since I've been to Ohashi Station. Many of my work colleagues live around here, so it's been a while. I had already decided on a restaurant for the day. It's a ramen shop that I've been curious about for a while. I parked my car at a coin parking lot and walked towards the restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant around 20:10. There were about 10 customers in the restaurant, sitting at tables and counter seats. I was seated at an empty counter seat and checked the menu. I ordered the No. 1 popular ramen and half-fried rice set. I requested the noodles to be firm. It arrived in less than 3 minutes. It's really fast. I took a sip of the ramen soup. It's delicious. The relatively rich and mellow tonkotsu soy sauce soup. The aftertaste is refreshing. Is the soy sauce from Kyushu? That's why it feels different from Yokohama-style ramen. I felt a little out of place. The noodles are straight and thin. They have a good firmness because I requested them firm. They were a bit powdery... the soup sticks to them. Yokohama-style ramen has thick noodles, so it feels different. The chashu was a classic piece and it was soft, juicy, and delicious. It also had a quail egg. The toppings included seaweed, green onions, and spinach. They are toppings that lean towards Yokohama-style ramen. The half-fried rice was light with less oil. It seems to be flavored to go well with the ramen. It had diced chashu, green onions, and egg. I ate it eagerly. I finished it in no time. It's clear that they are conscious of Yokohama-style ramen, but the soy sauce they use and the thickness of the noodles are clearly different. It's more like Fukuoka-style ramen. They also serve abura soba and tsukemen, so I might visit again. It seems you can also change the noodles to curly noodles. It cost me 980 yen this time. I think it's reasonable. It was delicious. I'll come back again.
