I arrived at the restaurant right when it opened, but there were about 4 groups ahead of me so it was crowded inside. I had to wait about 30 minutes before I could have my meal. Maybe because of the wait, the staff gave us a free serving of potatoes! Considering the price, I would rate it as 3.3 out of 5.

After taking a long walk around Maruyama area and feeling tired, we visited this place. I could smell the meaty aroma of the hamburgers while ordering a beer and a cheeseburger. My partner ordered a large portion of fries to share. However, this turned out to be a mistake. The fries were so delicious that I wished there was more. And to make matters worse, I also ordered a beer. What a dilemma! The cheeseburger came with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and patty. The buns were fluffy and tasty. They also pay attention to the quality of the meat. When I took a bite, the meat juices flowed out... it was a sight to behold. I ordered the regular size, but I finished it in no time. The lettuce was crunchy, the tomato was sweet. The fries were made from potatoes, so I guess they count as vegetables. Ordering the beer was the right choice. Thank you for the meal.

I used to visit this place often during my time in Sapporo, but it had been a while since I last visited. The hamburgers are still delicious with juicy meat. I also indulged in some pancakes, which were equally satisfying. The calm atmosphere allows for a nice, leisurely stay. This is my favorite hamburger place in Sapporo. I realized after finishing my hamburger that there was a menu item called the "Katsu Burger" displayed only inside the restaurant. I regret not looking around more carefully when making my selection.

A 4-minute walk from Maruyama Koen Station towards Nishi 18-chome. A burger shop that specializes in 100% Japanese beef patties. I visited around 12:00 on a weekday and was able to enter smoothly. Our burgers are made with 100% Japanese beef patties without any fillers, resulting in a meaty flavor. We use specially made buns that complement the patties perfectly. For my first visit, I ordered the following: [Sapporo Burger Large 200g 1560 yen] [Small fries 210 yen]. The Sapporo Burger contains only lettuce, tomato, and the patty. It's a burger that allows you to taste the flavor of the meat. You can choose between a peppery black sauce and a vegetable-based mild red sauce, and I chose the black one. The large size looks great with the patty slightly protruding from the bun. The taste is simple yet delicious, with the savory flavor of the meat and the aroma of pepper standing out. The soft bun doesn't overpower the meat, which is very nice. I devoured it in no time. However, the fact that it's a bit pricey due to the Japanese beef patty is a bit disappointing. But because it's so tasty, opinions may vary, but I personally think it's worth it. Thank you for the meal.

Despite having lunch on my day off, I suddenly felt the urge to eat something and searched for nearby restaurants. I came across this place that I had been meaning to visit. Since burgers are easy to eat, I decided to give it a try. The place was quite crowded when I went upstairs to my seat. I checked the menu and decided to go for the Sapporo Burger, a burger without vegetables to fully enjoy the meat. I love this kind of burger! There were options for the sauce, and I chose the black one this time. The Jack Burger (regular) with Hokkaido Wagyu beef patty was thick and juicy, allowing me to taste the richness and sweetness of the Wagyu beef. The black sauce added a spicy kick with a hint of pepper, enhancing the flavor of the meat. The melted Gorgonzola Jack cheese on top of the patty complemented the meatiness well. The bun was soft and chewy, with a crispy texture from being lightly roasted. It was simple yet delicious, allowing me to savor the meat. I left satisfied and would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I requested a little more than just udon noodles at this restaurant (what are you doing) - Sapporo Burger (regular/black/+spicy ginger ale) with no extra vegetables or toppings, just "meat!!!!!!" burger haha. It was really meaty and wild! The seasoning was just pepper, which gave it a nice spicy kick. The buns were soft and nicely crispy on the outside, but the meat was so strong that it felt like it was just a tool to eat the meat without getting your hands dirty haha. I still love the spicy ginger ale. It goes well with the hamburger. I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for years, so I'm glad I finally got to eat here! Thank you wu-ta-san!!!(((orz

You can enjoy a hamburger made with Hokkaido black wagyu beef at this restaurant! I ordered a simple cheeseburger and a mountain of fries. The buns were crispy, and the patty was made with coarsely ground wagyu beef, providing a rich meaty texture. You can choose from two types of sauce, black and red. The black sauce is spicy with a hint of pepper, while the red sauce is a sweet tomato-based option. I chose the black sauce this time, and it had a mature flavor with a peppery kick. It would be even better with a glass of wine!

I was craving a delicious hamburger, so I went in search of one. The pathway leading to the restaurant was cute and exciting. I was guided to the second floor. I chose the type of hamburger, sauce, and toppings before placing my order. I ordered a Junior Burger with tomato sauce and bacon topping. I also ordered a set drink of cola. After ordering, I realized I forgot to order onion rings! I decided to just let it go this time. I tried to eat the burger with my hands, but it was difficult so I ended up using a knife and fork. The taste was a bit bland for me, so I added ketchup and mustard to enhance the flavor. Thank you for the meal.

It was a hungry afternoon, and I was lured by the delicious aroma wafting outside to visit. Due to the winter of 2022 under the influence of COVID-19, the first floor seems to have seats only for single customers. Last time, I ordered a hamburger with lettuce and other vegetables, but this time I had the Sapporo Burger without any vegetables. Personally, I found this one, without vegetables, to have a more concentrated meat flavor and tasted even better. Sapporo Burger 950 yen, Potato S 170 yen.

Visited during a business trip to Sapporo on July 16, 2021. Conducted preliminary research on Tabelog before the trip and had some prior knowledge that it might be a unique restaurant. Since it was right after opening, I was the only customer. They had the usual hamburgers, but what caught my attention was the "Sapporo Burger" that I had seen during my research. It's a burger with just buns and a patty, no lettuce, onion, or tomato. Just meat and bread. It felt very straightforward, so I was curious to try it. I ordered it with black pepper sauce. While waiting, I couldn't help but wonder if this was a frog burger in disguise. When the burger arrived, the patty made from 100% Tokachi beef seemed properly cooked. The steak and black pepper sauce both had strong flavors but didn't overpower each other. It felt unique and original.

In the midst of a crowded takeout orders, I was lured by the delicious smell wafting outside and decided to dine in. I was asked if I was okay with waiting before entering. From the counter seat, I could see the kitchen which was interesting to watch. The food was freshly made and very delicious. The fluffy buns, juicy patty, and crispy fries were delightful. As I was leaving, I was apologized to for being busy, but I thanked them for the meal. The hamburger and small fries cost 1220 yen.

A hamburger shop with a frog character that stands out. The patty is said to be delicious. You can also choose from spicy sauce or sweet sauce! It was a little past 3 o'clock, so it wasn't crowded and we were able to relax. The hamburger I chose was over 1200 yen for just the burger, so it feels a bit expensive, but I'm satisfied.

I visited a hamburger restaurant in the Maruyama area because I remembered how delicious the burger was when I visited their branch in Nishi 11-chome a long time ago. Since there was no dedicated parking lot, I used the nearby coin parking. I arrived for an early lunch and there were no other customers. Although the first-floor seats were available, I was guided to the second-floor table seats. I ordered the "Sapporo Burger (Regular) for 950 yen", "Potato (S) for 170 yen", and "Drink Set A for 260 yen" listed at the top of the menu. You can choose between the spicy "black" sauce and the mild "red" sauce, so I chose the "black" sauce. The burger was ready in about 10 minutes. It was wrapped in paper and looked like a cute frog. The patty, made from 100% Tokachi beef, had a firm and meaty texture, allowing you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the beef. The black sauce had a spicy flavor with a hint of pepper, but it didn't overpower the deliciousness of the meat, so I personally recommend it over the red sauce. With the regular size patty of 130g and the added potato, I felt satisfied. Although the buns may have been a bit lacking compared to the strength of the patty, I think it's a delicious burger, so I recommend it when you want to eat a gourmet burger.

There is no parking lot, but when I parked at a nearby coin parking, they gave me a service voucher for next time! I chose the Junior Jack Burger (100g) with Onion Rings & Potato drink set! I chose the black (spicy) sauce! The flavor of the pepper was strong and very delicious...◎ The Jack Burger had cheese which was rich and the hamburger inside was very delicious! I thought it would take longer after ordering, but it didn't take that long for the food to be brought to me.

A frog standing quietly in a narrow alley near Maruyama Park Station... It's been about 4 years since I last visited this shop where there used to be a branch in Nishi 11-chome and I used to visit often. The shop was full at 12:30, so I decided to have a light lunch with a Junior Burger and a half portion of Strawberry Pancakes with a side of Potato S. The hamburger was made with 100% beef without any filler, and it was juicy with extra lettuce at no additional cost. The sauce came in black and red, with the red (mild) being more spicy than the black. The tartar sauce and the crispy sweet buns complemented the juicy patty perfectly... it was the golden ratio. As for the pancakes, I was expecting them to be fluffy given it's Maruyama, but they were surprisingly chewy, possibly made with rice flour. They were a unique type of pancake, not like the traditional ones. The side of potatoes was delicious even when cold, staying crispy with the perfect amount of salt. The taste hasn't changed in 4 years, and the quality remains the same. For those who think hamburgers are only associated with fast-food chains, visiting this place might change your perception...? Thank you for the meal.

When I entered the store, I was guided to the second floor. The interior of the store didn't seem to have a specific concept, but the wooden floor felt nice. I had a Jack Burger with black: spicy, onion rings & potatoes, and Sapporo Classic. It arrived in just a few minutes after ordering. I can't provide detailed food reviews or trivia as usual, but the buns were firm, the patty was incredibly juicy with a nice kick from the spices... it was delicious!

Just past 11 on a Sunday, with no previous customers and about 5 customers arriving after us. We were seated at a 2-person table on the second floor and ordered drinks: Otaru beer for 600 yen and Ginger Ale for 230 yen (A set). Lately, I've been lucky to find places that serve Otaru beer. We ordered two regular 130g burgers, one with spicy sauce and one with mild sauce. The patties were cooked to standard, with a bit of pink in the center. The burgers were wrapped in paper that turned into a cute frog, which was adorable. The patties were made of 100% Tokachi beef without any fillers, topped with lettuce, tomato, and a spicy black pepper sauce. We also ordered two sides of coleslaw and potatoes, but the portion of potatoes was so large that we could have shared one. The coleslaw was made of cabbage with a tangy dressing. We spent about 50 minutes there and paid a total of 3,344 yen for two people. The staff was very friendly, and even though it was our first visit, we thoroughly enjoyed the burgers.

Today, the weather was bad and the temperature was low, so I was in the mood for curry. However, I happened to come across Rana, a burger shop I had been wanting to try, just before the curry restaurant I had planned to visit. Despite it being the same time as my last visit, it didn't seem crowded today, so I decided to switch from curry to a burger. I ordered a large burger (200g) with black sauce (a strong peppery flavor), extra lettuce (only available on lettuce-containing menu items), and added an egg, along with the default O-ring and fries. The burger arrived in less than 10 minutes. The large patty was slightly overflowing from the buns, which is the charm of a good burger. The layers were buns, black sauce, meat patty, lettuce, mayonnaise, egg, and buns. The black sauce from the shop wasn't very strong, so I added a lot of ketchup. The burger was delicious, but the surprise was that the patty from Rana had a loose texture, so half of it flew out with the first bite, and almost all of it with the second. American burgers typically have a firm patty cooked only with meat, which adds to the enjoyment and taste. Be careful as you may need to use burger napkins to avoid a mess.

I went to RANA in Maruyama after visiting Maruyama Park. Due to the influence of the coronavirus, they only offer takeout. I ordered the Tokachi Wagyu Burger and the Zangi Burger, but I only took a picture of the Zangi Burger, which was a mistake. The Zangi Burger itself is quite voluminous and satisfying on its own. The Tokachi Wagyu Burger has thick meat with vegetables and cheese toppings, making it quite delicious. I recommend going when the store is open.

On a day off, I came with my family to have a light dinner. We ordered hamburgers and Otaru beer. In about 10 minutes, a slightly small hamburger wrapped in cute frog wrapping paper arrived. Unlike typical fast food hamburgers where a "hamburger" is sandwiched between buns, this one had a generous amount of roughly minced beef patty (hard to express accurately) sandwiched between them. You can enjoy the texture and flavor of the meat itself, and it is very delicious. It goes well with beer. My family was very satisfied and even had a parfait after the meal.
