The vegetable-wrapped skewers are delicious, but other dishes are also fresh and tasty. I personally prefer the grilled chicken skewers. The cost performance is decent. I'm already getting quite drunk by the third drink. This restaurant in Nishi Chuo is a vegetable roll specialty store, which I'm looking forward to trying for the first time! Overall, the food is delicious! What stands out in my memory is the "Wagyu beef and green onion roll" with a runny egg yolk and sweet sukiyaki sauce. The almost raw Wagyu beef melts in your mouth with the egg yolk and sweet sauce, combined with the texture of the green onion, making it incredibly delicious. I don't remember much else, but I'll definitely revisit when I'm not drunk.

We had it as sashimi, seared, and with sesame, but I wished they served it all as sashimi. It's been a while since I've had mackerel this firm and fresh. In Fukuoka, it seems like there are fewer places serving mackerel sashimi nowadays. The sesame mackerel was a bit too strong in sesame flavor for my liking. I prefer mackerel with just soy sauce to truly savor the taste. Next up, the vegetable rolls. Not your typical yakitori, these are made with vegetables, so they are healthy and guilt-free, right? There are diets like low-carb and sushi rice made from daikon, but the healthiest meal is one that includes a balance of vegetables, meat, fish, fruits, carbs, and dairy. I was skeptical about the vegetable rolls at first, thinking they would be like enoki or okra rolls at regular yakitori places. But these vegetable rolls were amazingly good! We shared 12 different kinds and they were delicious at first, but they started to feel heavy because they were all wrapped in pork belly, essentially making them all taste like pork belly. So we tried the Miyazaki beef negi roll! The fatty and tender Miyazaki beef melted in our mouths almost like it was raw. It was even better than the Matsusaka beef we had the day before at a yakitori place in Arao. The negi lacked the flavorful richness of Ano Nege or Hakata Yoka Negi, but the Miyazaki beef was so beautiful that it didn't really need the negi. It was perfect on its own! They serve raw egg on the side, so we planned to mix it with tare sauce and rice, but they were out of rice. The beer options were draft Premium Malt and bottled Classic Lager. The Premium Malt had a rusty taste and the Classic Lager was too bitter. I ordered a ginger ale and made myself a shandy with it, but I wish they had more popular, easy-drinking options like Super Dry, Lager, or Ichiban Shibori available in bottles.

Located on the street to the left when walking from Tenjin South towards Haruyoshi, past Komeda Coffee and crossing the traffic light, there is a Western-style oden restaurant next to Hanamijirou. If you walk down the diagonal road next to it, you will see a sign on the ground on your left. The restaurant spans from the 1st to the 3rd floor, with the 1st floor having a counter only, the 2nd floor having tatami seating only, and the 3rd floor having a mysterious bar counter with sofa seats. The separation of regulars and group diners is cleverly done. I visited the 3rd floor with colleagues from a food company. We ordered the lettuce wrap which was actually wrapped in pork belly. Among the skewers we tried, the most interesting were the heart and the aorta. The aorta sometimes runs out due to its small portion, but both are priced the same. The aorta had a texture similar to chicken skin but was actually the aorta, with a good elasticity and delicious taste. The side menu also had surprising options like fish and beef, but what caught my eye was the Miyazaki beef tartare. Priced under 700 yen, it was a perfect portion for two and incredibly tasty. When ordering non-staple items at a skewer restaurant, there is always some tension, but this time it was a safe bet. Overall, all the menu items seemed consistently good, making it a reliable choice for dining.

The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, with a counter on the right as soon as you enter, and table seating on the left. There seems to be a second floor as well. I ordered the chef's choice vegetable skewers (6 pieces) and a beer. Also, vinegar tripe and potato salad. The vinegar tripe is delicious! Despite the mouth sores probably caused by recent overeating and drinking, it's tasty (laughs). The potato salad has mackerel in it. Soon, the skewers arrive. They are bigger than I expected. All of them taste great. Personally, I like the green pepper and tomato skewers. My companion liked the taro skewers. You can add shichimi, ichimi, and curry powder to your liking, but I wish they had yuzu pepper available (laughs). With the generous portions, I managed to eat all 6 skewers with some help from my companion. I ended up feeling very full this time. Next time, I'll order a bit more conservatively.

I forgot to take many photos, but I tried various dishes such as sesame mackerel, chicken sashimi platter, rare chicken liver, rare chicken breast, chicken heart, asparagus roll, tomato mozzarella roll, long green pepper roll, and grilled Japanese beef. The sesame mackerel had a firm and chewy texture, and the sesame sauce added a nice flavor. Although it is a yakitori restaurant, the fish dishes were also delicious. The chicken sashimi was fresh and tasty. The rare chicken liver and rare chicken breast were cooked perfectly, with a moist and tender texture. I also enjoyed trying different vegetable rolls, which were wrapped in pork belly and juicy. One of the highlights was the grilled Japanese beef, which was cooked rare and served with sweet sauce and egg. It was absolutely delicious!
