On Sunday morning, I went with my best friend to try out "Koryaikeru (Sakura Ebi)" rice snack. It is a light pink rice snack with a crispy and light texture that melts in your mouth instantly. The savory aroma of Sakura Ebi and slightly strong saltiness make it a perfect snack to enjoy with beer. Once you start eating it, you can't stop, so be careful not to overeat. It's delicious, I love it. I also tried "Koryaikeru (Cheese)" rice snack, which is a light yellow color. It has the same crispy and light texture with a hint of cheese flavor that slowly spreads on your tongue. The rich aroma of cheese also adds to the experience. It's like a super light version of cheese curls. I got a 30% discount on this item due to some breakage during delivery, but it was not a problem at all. I appreciate the eco-discount initiative by Mochikichi to reduce food waste. I would definitely buy eco-discounted products again if I come across them.

If you shop, you get a free 1L bottle of Power Water. I felt like I got a little bonus♪♪

My boss is retiring, so I visited this shop to buy a small gift. I also bought some dessert (ice cream) for myself and some souvenirs. The ice candy in soda flavor (83 yen including tax) was delicious. The premium gelato in roasted green tea flavor (120 yen including tax) had a rich chocolate-like taste with a hint of sweetness and a spread of roasted green tea aroma in the mouth. It was delicious. The burdock flavor ice cream (237 yen including tax) would go well as a snack with alcohol. It had a rich burdock aroma and was delicious. The assorted plump rice cakes salad (432 yen including tax) had a simple but tasty flavor. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went alone on a weekday morning. "Koryaikeru (Sakura Ebi)" is a light pink rice snack. It's crispy and light, melting in your mouth instantly. The savory aroma of Sakura Ebi and a slightly strong saltiness make it a perfect snack with beer. Be careful not to eat too much once you start, as it's addictive. "Koryaikeru (Cheese)" is a light yellow rice snack. It's crispy and light, melting in your mouth instantly. The cheese flavor gently spreads on your tongue, with a rich cheese aroma coming through your nose. It feels like a super light version of curl cheese flavor. "Koryaikeru (Setouchi Lemon)" is a white rice snack. It's soft and fluffy, with a gentle melt-in-your-mouth texture. The lemon acidity is pronounced, giving a refreshing kick. The slightly peppery accent adds to the firm saltiness. It's a perfect snack with beer. I love Koryaikeru by Mochi Yoshii. In addition to their regular products, seasonal limited edition items appear occasionally, so be sure to check them out.

Along with the melt-in-your-mouth texture, you can taste the subtle richness of cheese on your tongue. The rich aroma of cheese also lingers in your nose. It's like a super light version of curl cheese flavor. Among the wide variety of snacks at Mochikichi, I particularly like the Koryaikeru series. There are various flavors like sakura shrimp, mentaiko, burdock, cheese, and pizza. My favorite by far is sakura shrimp. Mentaiko and burdock are not bad, but once I've tried them, I'm usually satisfied. This time, I bought cheese for the first time, and it's quite good. I think I will buy it again.

I went alone on a weekday morning. [Koryaikeru (Sakura Shrimp)] Light pink rice cracker snack. Crispy and light, melts in your mouth instantly. The savory aroma of sakura shrimp and slightly strong saltiness make it a perfect snack with beer. Once you start eating, it's hard to stop, so be careful not to overeat. [Koryaikeru (Hakata Mentaiko)] Rice cracker snack with red bumps on the surface. Crispy and light, melts in your mouth instantly. A hint of spiciness from mentaiko comes afterwards. It could be spicier. [Koryaikeru (Burdock)] Rice cracker snack with brown burdock mixed in. Crispy and light, melts in your mouth instantly. The rich aroma of burdock coming through your nose is delightful. The seasoning is slightly salty with a hint of sweetness added. The taste of sweetener is slightly noticeable, but overall not bad. Mochikichi offers a wide variety of snacks such as rice crackers, senbei, and other traditional Japanese sweets. I always go for Koryaikeru. I like the sakura shrimp flavor the most.

I visited on the opening day. There was a long line from the morning until evening, but I waited until it got less crowded to visit. I received a commemorative item and a power drink. I think I will be using this place more often in the future.
