It's a delicious course meal. The place is located underground in Tenjin. I made a reservation for the course. The course includes meat, tempura, and crab shabu-shabu. It's a bit pricey but worth it. I had high expectations and tried it. The conclusion is, it's delicious. The meat, crab, and tempura are all delicious. However, I wish there were a bit more variety in the menu. Maybe some grilled fish or something, I wanted to eat a bit more to fill my stomach.

The website advertised a buffet for crabs, beef, and pork for 10,000 yen, even though it was not listed on the menu. However, when I asked the staff, they confirmed it was possible and I ordered it. The crabs were frozen and didn't have the shabu-shabu texture, more like a crab hot pot. But for this price, having all-you-can-eat crabs is a good deal. The staff were also friendly and the private rooms were a nice touch.

I went to a restaurant today for a farewell lunch with my colleagues from work. We had pre-ordered bento boxes and reserved a semi-private room. Although I usually wouldn't go to this place alone, the bento box was pretty good. It came with sashimi, tempura, grilled fish, salad, and chawanmushi. I had a delicious shabu-shabu lunch at Shabu Zen because it was cold. They offer shabu-shabu starting from ¥1400 in a luxurious setting with private rooms. I had the domestic pork shabu-shabu, which was tender, pink, and sweet. The vegetable platter was generous, and there were homemade sesame sauce and Japanese broth to dip the meat in. The condiments such as chili oil, yuzu pepper, and grated radish were also great for flavor variations. I finished the meal quickly while enjoying the warm atmosphere and getting plenty of vegetables. It was a fantastic lunch experience. Thank you!

Petit year-end party at Tenjin. This is a shabu-shabu specialty restaurant founded in Roppongi in 1983. They have 18 stores nationwide, with other locations in Kyushu including Hakata Hanayuka store (Daimaru Elgala), Kokura store, and Kagoshima store. This time, we enjoyed a course meal that included '2-hour all-you-can-eat beef and pork shabu-shabu & sukiyaki' with appetizers, small dishes, sashimi, and main dishes. As the name suggests, you can enjoy both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki at the same time, but this time we chose to have only shabu-shabu based on the group's preference. The beautifully arranged pork and beef slices were very appetizing. The dipping sauces included the classic ponzu and sesame sauce, as well as a special broth for pork shabu-shabu. When dipped in the sauce like okonomiyaki, it was delicious and light. We were excited to eat as much as we could with the all-you-can-eat option, but soon reached our limits... Affordable prices - Shabuzen Showadori Daimyo Store {Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City} On December 4, 2020 (Friday), I went to Shabuzen Showadori Daimyo Store. This place is located along Showa Street, a little west of the intersection of Maizuru 1-chome. It is a restaurant located in the basement of the Tenjin Kaisei Building. Previously, the menu was a bit high-priced, with waitresses in traditional Japanese attire creating a relaxed atmosphere, but due to the impact of the coronavirus, they are now offering affordable lunch options. This was the daily special menu for that day. Since this is an old review, the current menu may have changed. On that day, it was Tuesday, so the daily special was Gyudon (beef bowl). They also offer curry for 800 yen (tax included). I ordered the Gyudon for 900 yen (tax included). It came with miso soup, pickles, vegetable salad, and a raw egg. You crack the raw egg (Kikyou egg) over the Gyudon. The bowl was quite filling with rice, and the beef was tender and delicious with a gentle seasoning. I wish there was a bit more broth though. After the meal, you can choose between coffee or dessert, so I chose the almond jelly dessert. It was very delicious with a flavor of black honey and yellow powder. It was a satisfying lunch where you can eat leisurely at an affordable price near Tenjin. Daimyo 2-8-22, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. Closed on irregular days.

We went with 3 adults and 1 child who is 1 and a half years old. They provided a blanket for the child to lie down, which was very considerate for families with children. Two of the adults are pregnant, so we thought it would be a great place to come back to after they are born. The food was also delicious.

I happened to have lunch at this place and was satisfied with the meal. It was the first day of Reiwa era, so I decided to try the most expensive option, the Hakata Wagyu beef sukiyaki set meal for 4200 yen. It was a satisfying dish. The shabu-shabu also looked delicious.

I went without a reservation. It was possible to add both sukiyaki and shabu-shabu hot pots for an additional cost, which I didn't expect. The service was quick, and I was able to eat until I was full. Thank you for the meal. By the way, it came with grated yam for the sukiyaki. Eating it with grated yam was delicious. I might try visiting that restaurant next time.
