Located a 5-minute walk from Kyobashi Station, next to Sakuranomiya Higashi Park, is Kōchyan, a highly recommended charcoal-grilled chicken restaurant known for its large skewers. The skewers were not only big but also incredibly delicious. The heart and breast meat were particularly tasty. Seeing regular customers ordering almost all types of skewers and sashimi, it seems like everything on the menu is delicious. I will try ordering different cuts next time.

At the end of the fourth year of Reiwa, two people visited the third stop of the Kyobashi drinking tour. They enjoyed horse meat dishes and sake with some appetizers, and then decided to move on to yakitori. They ended up at a place they occasionally feel like visiting, even though it was only their third time there. The restaurant was moderately busy when they arrived. The two of them ordered sasami tataki, toriwasakara yakitori with two bonjiri, two yagen nankotsu, and one hatsu. The yakitori was delicious with perfect grilling. They also had a few glasses of Kirin Lager draft beer. It's unclear why they only had one piece of hatsu - perhaps there was only one left, or maybe they split it in half. The memory of a drunken person is unreliable, but the bonjiri they mentioned in the review - was it really bonjiri?

The third stop for the year-end final bar hopping in Kyobashi is this restaurant. Located in a slightly core area known only to locals in Kyobashi, this yakitori place was recommended by my Kyobashi expert friend. As soon as you enter, you can feel the old-fashioned atmosphere of the place, which is really nice. And the best part is they have Hoppy! I ordered a black Hoppy and took a sip. The variety of yakitori dishes looked delicious. It's already the third stop, and I had some forbidden sake at the previous place, so I'm getting quite tipsy, but oh well. (^◇^;) I felt like eating some tataki, so I ordered that. And of course, some chicken skewers. The tataki was incredibly delicious. (^◇^;) But the chicken skewers were equally delicious. The grilled chicken cartilage was cooked to perfection. The taste level was so high that I almost felt bad for visiting this place as the third stop. The owner was also very friendly, so I'll definitely visit again. I had a great drink this year. I need to start taking some breaks for my liver next year. It's been about 7 years of non-stop liver abuse with excessive drinking. (laughs)

I visited this restaurant alone for a late-night snack after going to a bar. I remembered meeting the owner of this place at a Kanto-ni (simmered dish) restaurant a while back, so I decided to stop by. I had grilled chicken skewers like negima, seseri, pork belly, tsukune, and yagen-nankotsu. The atmosphere was great since there were no other customers, and I enjoyed chatting with the owner while savoring the delicious yakitori and yakiton. The yakitori was grilled over charcoal using a traditional iron bridge instead of the usual wire mesh or grill. This method ensured that the charcoal directly touched the skewers, resulting in a crispy and flavorful finish, especially on the skin. I'll definitely go back to try more dishes! I paired the meal with a few glasses of Kirin Lager draft beer and finished with a sweet potato shochu on the rocks called "Koijaga." It turns out that "Koijaga" means "this one" in Kagoshima dialect, not actually made from potatoes. I tried to take a picture of the bottle, but it turned out blurry, so I decided not to include it.

First visit to a yakitori restaurant on the north side of Kyobashi, on the east side of Kyobashi Chuo Shotengai, in front of Sakuranomiya Higashi Park. It seems like a place only known to locals, previously the location of the long-standing yakitori restaurant Moguratei. It's a quiet and dark place at night, with one yakitori restaurant after another, but since Moguratei had been around for almost 30 years, it should be fine! The place had a decent number of customers on this day. We sat at the counter and ordered: 1 skewer of heart for 200 yen, 1 skewer of negima for 200 yen, 1 skewer of tsukune for 200 yen, 1 skewer of chicken cartilage for 200 yen, 1 skewer of chicken neck for 200 yen, miso cucumber for 300 yen, liver sashimi for 550 yen, and 1 skewer of cheese-stuffed bell pepper for 200 yen. Each skewer had a good amount of food and was delicious. We ordered 5 skewers per person, but the portions were larger than expected, so we were quite full. The liver sashimi had a slightly pale but delicious liver. The cheese-stuffed bell pepper was also very tasty, but one skewer was enough for two people. The owner, who had a friendly demeanor, was managing the place alone that day. It's a cozy and welcoming yakitori restaurant where you can order skewers one by one. They also serve Kirin Lager for 450 yen, which is a bit rare.

I heard a rumor that this place is the best, so I came here. The handsome chef carefully grilled the chicken breast for me. The texture was so unique, almost like it was melting in my mouth. The heart was also tender and delicious.

It is located in a quite obscure place. I thought 200 yen per skewer was quite expensive❗, but when it arrived, it turned out to be quite substantial. I was happy with the draft Kirin Lager beer. However, I didn't really like the taste of the chicken itself...
