It is located about a 5-7 minute walk from Nakasu Kawabata Station on the subway south side. I made a reservation on Rakuten Travel because it was cheap with breakfast included, so I didn't have high expectations overall, but when I entered, it felt really nice. It doesn't feel like a business hotel. The room even had a drum-type washing machine and a trouser press, making it a hotel that can be used for long business trips. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. There is a front desk on the second floor, and a restaurant where you can have breakfast and a popular restaurant for Fukuoka locals on the first floor. After checking in, you can use a card key to directly access the elevator on the first floor. Breakfast is buffet style. It seems to cost an additional thousand yen. The food lined up was colorful, and depending on how you plate it, there were quite a few photogenic items. The taste was nothing special, but it was satisfying, so the content was good. I also forgot my phone in the room due to drowsiness and accidentally walked into the breakfast area in the morning.

Breakfast at Hotel Tokyu Stay in Fukuoka, Tenjin. I always look forward to Fukuoka breakfast because I can often enjoy my favorite mentaiko. Normally, I would skip breakfast the morning after drinking too much alcohol, but in Fukuoka, it's different because of the delicious mentaiko. With white rice and miso soup, along with mentaiko, I can eat a lot no matter how I feel! The hotel also had mentaiko! Along with nametake, nori tsukudani, natto, and rice, it still wasn't enough. The side dishes included a small frying pan with thick-cut bacon, fluffy omelette, and warm potato salad. It's a mix of Japanese and Western breakfast. The presentation is beautiful and appetizing, but I had a large amount of garlic ramen as my last meal just 3 hours ago... The thick-cut bacon looks too tempting! Whether I can eat it or not depends on how my stomach feels later. First, I enjoyed the awaited moment of eating rice with mentaiko and miso soup. It was irresistible. The rice was just the right texture. I needed another bowl! I feel energized now! The food revived me. I'll have a little bit of the side dishes too. I'm sorry, but I left some of the thick-cut bacon. The rice is just too delicious! I don't usually have breakfast at home, but I always look forward to hotel breakfasts. I wonder if I should buy mentaiko to eat at home too? I always think about it, but in reality, I probably won't eat it at home. Nonetheless, I love hotel breakfasts! It was delicious!

Kyushu Travel Day 5 Part 4
Our accommodation for this day was Tokyu Stay Fukuoka Tenjin. Despite the name Tenjin, it is actually located in Haruyoshi, a bit away from Tenjin Station. In that sense, it is a hotel slightly far from the station, but it had great value for money. We booked through Rakuten Travel for 5,500 yen per person. In Fukuoka, we had a spacious 30㎡ twin room that was still new and clean, equipped with a drum-type washing machine, microwave, mini kitchen with IH cooking heater. The bathroom was separate and clean as well. Even though there are more expensive options even in remote business hotels in the countryside, I think this hotel offers exceptional value. I was a bit worried about why it was so cheap until I entered the room, but there were no issues at all during our stay. There were some dusty areas in the room, but overall, it was fine. The price must be due to efficient management. On the 1st floor, there is a stylish bar called Haruyoshi Sanchome Teppan Bar TABELI, where you can also have breakfast. The atmosphere was great and it was convenient to use.

It was the best room that made me want to come back to Fukuoka again! The room was spacious, so we could relax and use it comfortably with two people, and the washing machine was amazing! The laundry was fluffy in the morning, and I wanted to have this washing machine (lol). The breakfast was also very delicious and stylish, it was a truly wonderful two-night stay. Thank you very much.
