I have often eaten Vietnamese food in America, but mostly just pho. From appetizers to desserts, it is light and easy to eat, and I was surprised by the variety (compared to America). The dishes look beautiful and taste great. It's a great place to go with friends or on a date, but I think it's also fine to go alone.

It was my first time trying Vietnamese cuisine! It was healthy and delicious. The pho was seasoned with cilantro, chili, and lemon to suit my taste, giving it an elegant flavor. Anyone can enjoy it without any resistance. I regret not being able to try Vietnamese coffee at the end.

This is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Daimyo Garden City. They have both counter and table seating, offering open and refreshing Asian and Vietnamese cuisine. We started with a plate that included classic dishes like fresh spring rolls and pho. The stir-fried water spinach and shrimp was deliciously spicy. The cod hot pot was also very tasty, especially when eaten with rice. They also have a selection of wines available.

I visited Lotus Palace located in the newly opened Daimyo Garden City. There are many classy restaurants in Daimyo Garden City, including the Ritz-Carlton. This was my first time visiting Lotus Palace, although I know they have a branch in Hakata. It might be the most delicious Vietnamese food I've ever had. The assorted spring rolls were especially delicious! I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

Stylish lunch spot serving Vietnamese cuisine in the hot area of Akasaka, Fukuoka, where the Ritz Carlton is located. It's a popular dining area where everyone gathers. Vietnamese cuisine is known for its fresh spring rolls, which are usually part of the lunch set here. They are delicious, especially the shrimp. The pho is also tasty, as well as the noodle dishes. The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere, and if you can get a seat on the park side, it's a lucky find. But I can't help but be curious about the open terrace at the neighboring Pietro. It seems hot now, though. Overall, it's a delicious restaurant.

We ordered the 6,600 yen chef's choice course for two people. Everything we tried was delicious! It's rare to find a high-end course where every dish is tasty, but here, each dish was not pretentious and genuinely delicious. It made me realize how deep Vietnamese cuisine can be. I forgot to take a picture of the spicy red noodles at the end, but they were also delicious! The wine was good too. I also looked at the a la carte menu, which was very appealing. There were some Vietnamese dishes that I don't get to eat often. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant. I will definitely come back.

Last week, I had lunch at "Lotus Palace Daimyo Store" on the 2nd floor of "Daimyo Garden City" that opened recently (*^^*). I chose the Lotus Plate for ¥2860 (tax included). The portion was good for me that day, but they didn't have pho as a single item. The avocado and shrimp fresh spring rolls, shrimp fried spring rolls, cha gio pork and shrimp steamed spring rolls, sweet and sour green mango salad, pumpkin and kikurage coconut milk soup, and Saga Arita chicken pho (small) were all tasty as I like ethnic cuisine. However, all the spring rolls had the same sauce, and the green mango salad was a bit too sour, so I got a little tired of the similar flavors. Also, the soup was lukewarm, and the pho came out after I finished the first plate, so it wasn't piping hot. In terms of portion size, it wasn't that big, and the price felt a bit on the high side. I would be more satisfied if it was around 1500 yen, I guess?

Before I knew it, the tenants at Garden City (Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka) had opened. Well, I was not in Fukuoka last week, so I was surprised. I immediately went to explore. The new tenants were crowded with people. Popular shops had lines and were full, and lunch was over. Around 1:30 PM, I visited a restaurant where I could be seated right away. It was the first branch in Fukuoka of a popular authentic Vietnamese restaurant from Tokyo, Hakata Kuten, in Daimyo. The atmosphere was natural as always. The inside of the restaurant had counter seats and table seats. There were two women sitting at the counter seats. When I entered, a female staff member came out and asked if I preferred the counter seats or the table seats, so I chose the table. But when I entered, a male staff member said, "I have prepared the counter seats." And I was seated facing the staff members in a corner because the washing area was in front of me. I ordered the Saga Arita chicken pho set (1980 yen) from the lunch menu. The ingredients were explained to have a focus on Kyushu produce. The complimentary drink was cold lotus tea. First, I had shrimp and pork spring rolls. Then, the main dish of chicken pho. The condiments were served separately - bean sprouts, coriander, lemon, and chili. I mixed them all in, squeezed the lemon, and enjoyed the delicious Kyushu Arita chicken and the slightly generous amount of noodles. The staff members were locals, so I could expect a taste close to the original. However, in terms of cost performance, it was completely different from the Hakata branch. During my meal, a man who came in after me was seated at a table, which lowered my excitement.

I didn't have much time, so I ordered a simple dish. The taste was good. I'm not sure if the server was new or in training, but I think they could move a bit faster. I was a bit concerned about the female server.

The price is a bit high. It's good for a lunch once in a while, but I don't think I can go there frequently. The taste is gentle and delicious.

The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's a place I definitely want to visit again.
