I entered a large bakery facing Kitayama Street, but couldn't find anything I wanted to eat, so I went to Tokoha-san's place. The shop is very small, but it had a nice atmosphere. The photo only shows baguettes, but I also had croissants with cheese inside. When I warmed up the baguette, added olive oil, and ate it, the taste was really good, not overpowered by the oil.

A bakery located on a street one block north of Kitayama Street. I purchased the Toko Dog for 330 yen and the Strawberry Croissant for 340 yen. The Toko Dog is filled with plenty of curry-flavored vegetables. The Strawberry Croissant has seasonal strawberries on a custard cream base. Both were safe choices and delicious.

Located very close to the entrance of Kitayama Station on the subway in Kita-ku, Kyoto City. It's one street north from Kitayama Street. It seems to have been in business for quite some time, with a founding date of 2005 according to Tabelog. It's been almost 20 years already. The interior of the restaurant is small but stylish. All the bread looks visually appealing. The prices mainly range in the 200 yen range, which is quite reasonable for today's standards. I got the Corn Cream Stew Bread and Tokohadog to go. Both seem delicious as main dishes. The stew bread is filled with a rich stew sauce. It's flavorful and tasty. The dog is your typical hot dog. The seasoning of the vegetables surrounding the dog is good. It's nostalgic that this costs around 500 yen. It was delicious.

Located near Kitayama Station in a fiercely competitive bakery area, Tokoha Bakery is a charming find. I stumbled upon this shop on a Monday when many others were closed and decided to pop in at their opening time of 10 a.m. The selection of bread was limited, but I opted for the Tokoha Dog, a hot dog with a curry-flavored vegetable filling that had a subtle curry aroma. The sausage was relatively lean, not too fatty. The atmosphere of the shop matched the mild flavor of the hot dog. I also tried the Lemon Sunrise, a bread topped with cookie dough made with Setouchi lemon. The lemon flavor was just right, making it a perfect bread for summer. It was more of a gentle, soothing bread rather than one with a strong punch. If you're looking for bread that makes you want to come back, this might just be it.

Located on the north side of Kitayama Station, this bakery seems to be popular in the neighborhood. It gives off the impression of being a delicious, ordinary bakery in town. Thank you for the meal. ◆Red bean bun: Simply delicious ◆Corn: Plenty of fresh corn with a firm dough texture ◆Wiener: Small in size, enjoyable with a firm dough texture ◆???: A rectangular bread with almonds, moist and more like a cake than bread ◆Rusk: Resembles a Florentine, fragrant and unique

When I visited "Briand Kitayama Main Store," I found a cute bakery called "Tokoha Bakery" on the first floor of a lovely building in a corner of the coin parking lot I used. The bakery has a parking space for one car in front of the shop. I bought a hojicha cream pan, salted caramel sunrise croissant, and other items through face-to-face sales. The sweet and savory sunrise croissant with a rich flavor is addictive, and the fragrant and flavorful hojicha cream pan is delightful. I was able to encounter a wonderful shop (^^♪

Tokohabe Bakery in Kitagawa. A great location by the Kamogawa River to buy bread and enjoy it. They have around 15 types of bread, each with its own unique character. The hot dog has lots of vegetables and a delicious sweet and spicy flavor with curry and ketchup. The anpan has a strong sesame flavor, different from the usual anpan. My personal favorite is the olive bread. The slightly salty olives go well with the bread. Will definitely go back.

Tokohadog curry powder sautéed cabbage and carrots with sausage, ketchup on a corn bread hard type of bread with corn kernels kneaded in, delicious soft bread dough with plenty of chunky red bean paste, might be my favorite red bean paste bun I've had recently. Sakura melon pan with cookie dough infused with salt-pickled cherry blossom leaves on top, the sakura aroma is subtle and the strawberry cheese with strawberry and cream cheese acidity is delicious. Cream pan with plenty of runny egg, cherry danish with crispy outer layer and moist danish dough inside, and rusk caramel with a rich flavor of fragrant cinnamon are all soft and fluffy bread ===========

When you come to Kitayama in Kyoto, this is a must-visit restaurant! (^-^)/ It's about a 4-minute walk from the station. Take the 4th exit. It's a cute restaurant, so you'll recognize it right away! The shokupan (Japanese fluffy bread) looked delicious, so I bought some. There were instructions on how to eat it inside the store. I had it sliced into 4 pieces, toasted, and enjoyed the crispy texture! (^-^)/ I definitely want to come back and buy more when I visit here again!

I had some business in Kitayama and searched for a bakery near the station. I found this place. I arrived at 3:45 pm on Saturday, and there were no other customers. When I opened the wooden sliding door, I saw the showcase. It seemed like the type of bakery where you ask the staff to get the bread for you. There was a quiet female staff member behind the counter. When I asked for recommendations, she kindly explained that the freshly baked items were this and this, and the seasonal products were marked. There was a sakura bean paste bread among the seasonal items. I bought a Dark Cherry Croissant for 230 yen, two Berry Croissants for 230 yen each, two Cheese Cream and Cranberry breads for 210 yen each, two Chocolate French breads for 170 yen each, and a Tokohaba baguette for 230 yen. I think the total was 1,680 yen. They all looked delicious, and I might have bought too much, haha. We enjoyed them at home with my family. The Dark Cherry Croissant had a delightful combination of custard cream and cherries, creating an enjoyable Danish pastry. The pie crust had softened a bit over time, but it was still delicious. The Cheese Cream and Cranberry bread, shaped like a crescent moon, contained cheese cream and cranberries, offering a delightful and satisfying taste with each bite. The Chocolate French bread had a cute round shape and chocolate inside. It was not just a childish bread but truly delicious, with a substantial hard crust that was filling. We enjoyed them for breakfast and snacks with the family, and all were generally well-received. I would love to have a bakery like this nearby. I will definitely visit again when I'm in Kitayama. Thank you for the delicious treats.

Heading north from Kitayama Baptist Church, you will come across this restaurant. It's an easily recognizable location. I tried their bread basket. To be honest, it wasn't delicious. I believe bread should have a crispy and slightly elastic crust, with a moist inside, giving it a unique bread flavor. However, the crust was too crispy, the inside slightly hard, and it wasn't very tasty. Perhaps their specialty is sandwich bread.

I parked near Tokoha Bakery when I came to listen to the reverberation at Kitayama Concert Hall during an event. It's my first time posting even though I've been here several times! If you're just buying bread, there's parking right in front of the store, so it's convenient. Lately, they've had mostly hard-style bread, so try something fun occasionally! The small shop is full of tempting bread - so many choices! First, I got the sugar- and milk-free sandwich bread for 310 yen - great idea, I immediately froze it! Focaccia for 170 yen, always visually appealing and just the right size and delicious! I ended up buying lots - walnut bread for 230 yen, bacon cheese for 230 yen, and chestnut crunch for 210 yen. Now off to the concert hall for the orchestra performance! The theme is France, so French music in the morning, and in the afternoon, there's a reading of "Peter and the Wolf" by Michiko Haneda! In between, there's a French market in Kyoto for a feast! Autumn is full of events everywhere! It's event food, but each dish is delicious and beautifully presented. Here's a simple review for you!

After getting off at Kitayama Station, walk towards the church and take the road in front of it. It's my first time walking here, but at the T-junction, you'll find this restaurant at the dead end. The entrance is not very wide. I bought a hot dog for 300 yen and a bread with cream cheese and raspberries. I ate them at the botanical garden. The former was full of volume and had a nostalgic taste with cabbage sautéed in curry powder. The latter had cream cheese inside the moist dough. I am satisfied. The Prefectural Botanical Garden after the typhoon was also tough. Thanks to the wind, in this country with a lot of precipitation, it has developed richly, but there are also issues.

I stopped by a bakery in Kitayama that looked delicious when I passed by before, so I came back to Kitayama after a long time and got some takeout. I had olive bread, a hot dog, and a sakura bread. They were all unique and delicious.

I recently moved near this neighborhood, so I dropped by. They don't have a wide variety of bread types, but the selection process is enjoyable thanks to the appearance and arrangement in the display case. You can even reserve your favorite bread ✔️✔️ They have savory and sweet bread, making it a nice place to stop by casually. If you have close guests, it seems like a good place to treat them ❤️

At first, I was taken aback by the stylish appearance, and though I found it a bit hard to enter, I opened the door of the cute little shop. Inside, there was a small and charming shop with a face-to-face counter. I decided to purchase the focaccia and shokupan that had caught my eye. The shokupan was of such good quality for its price, I think the cost performance is excellent! Since it's nearby, I will definitely come back again!
