I had a meal at Yayoiken after a long time. The store I visited is located in Morinomiya. It's a chain restaurant that you can find in various places. It's a convenient dining option. One of the selling points is that rice refills are free with set meals. Well, since I'm getting older, I don't usually go for seconds. I'm more conscious of calories and eating less. But sometimes I end up choosing a hearty meal. I picked the set with Chicken Nanban and Pork Ginger. The chicken topped with tartar sauce is delicious. And the ginger pork has a rich flavor that's hard to resist. Both dishes go well with rice. I ate a lot of rice. I'm full now. I enjoyed a tasty lunch. It might be worth trying a chain restaurant for a meal sometimes. If you get the chance, give it a try!

The outside was crispy, the inside was juicy thigh meat, and the seasoning was perfect for eating as is. It was excellent! If they could just make the pricing a little more reasonable (which seems to assume you'll want seconds), I would give it even more points.

I visited VIERRA at JR Mino Station at 09:40 in the morning. There was one group of two customers before me and after me, there was one customer dining alone and another group of two. I ordered the natto breakfast set, which was my usual choice. I also had two pieces of shrimp fry, which I got for free using a coupon from the Yayoiken app. Thank you... I had an extra serving of rice, which was served by a rice serving robot. There were four different ways to have the rice served.

JR Morinomiya Station is right nearby. I received a coupon for a change in clam soup at Yayoiken, so I decided to go in. I ordered the meat and tofu set meal for ¥860, with a change to barley rice for an additional ¥30, a mini fried chicken for ¥180, and a change from miso soup to clam soup at no extra cost, bringing the total to ¥1,070. There was a large transparent plastic partition in the middle of the table and counter, a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. It felt a bit claustrophobic, but it's necessary to get used to the new lifestyle. The meat and tofu dish turned out to be fried tofu mixed with burdock, onion, and konjac in a rich sweet and savory sauce, topped with green onions. The grilled fish was the classic mackerel, delicious even with the skin. The mini fried chicken, with two pieces, was crispy and tasty. The clam soup came in a large bowl with plenty of clams, 11 in total, and a delicious broth. It was really good.

I had a great time at Yayoi Ken for Senbero! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highballs and lemon sours were at a special price, allowing you to have 2 drinks with Senbero... The tamagoyaki was really good, right?

Stable taste, Yayoiken. The white rice is delicious. Sometimes they have limited-time dishes which are nice. I usually go for the standard menu items. There are few places around Morinomiya that are non-smoking and reliable, so when I feel like having a set meal, this is my first choice. The staff are really friendly and polite. You can enjoy your meal in a good mood.

The taste was the usual reliable Yoshinoya, so I'll skip that. The staff's service was great, and they made the meal enjoyable! The interior of the restaurant was bright and clean.

It's a slightly small Yayoiken, but being near Osaka Castle Park with lots of nature, it attracts a lot of young girls. Many people get off at Morinomiya for Osaka Castle Hall as well. I ordered the Thick-cut Kalbi Mix Set for 980 yen. It came with 3 pieces of kalbi, a small shrimp fry, and 3 pieces of teriyaki chicken. The side dishes may seem a bit small in quantity, but I liked the sweet and savory sauce. It also came with a salad. The rice, which you can refill from the rice cooker, is the most delicious and satisfying among this type of set meal restaurants. I left feeling full and happy. Oh, I'm glad to have been born Japanese. The young female staff's service was polite, and they always thank you, even from afar, as you leave the restaurant, making the whole experience warm and pleasant. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the cheapest dish, the ginger pork set meal, and waited for it to arrive after handing in my meal ticket. The seat I chose may not have been the best as I could hear the staff chatting. I ordered a Calpis juice and waited. After about 5 minutes, my meal arrived. It was tasty, but sometimes there are small burnt bits from the pan mixed in, which can be off-putting. I often eat the ginger pork set meal here. I silently pray for the pan to be cleaned properly. I also sneak in a second helping of rice. Towards the end of my meal, I noticed that the previous customer's dish had not been served, so I pointed it out to the staff. It was served afterwards. If it weren't for the chatty Calpis conversation, I wouldn't have noticed. Overall, if you do unnecessary things, you might fail, but I'll definitely go back.

Eating dinner alone at night, I went to Yayoiken where they offer set meals with unlimited rice refills. When I entered the restaurant, I first bought a meal ticket. There were so many tempting set meals to choose from, but I decided to go with the Beef Steak set which was discounted by 100 yen. I wanted to try it while the discount was still available! The friendly staff guided me to my seat and I enjoyed the pickles while waiting for my meal. Finally, the Beef Steak set arrived. The aroma of the grilled steak was mouth-watering. With miso soup on the side, I took a sip and it was delicious. I then tried a bite of the sliced beef steak and it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty! The fact that rice refills were available made me happy. I didn't expect the Beef Steak at Yayoiken to be this delicious. I was pleasantly surprised!

I'm feeling hungry, but I don't feel like cooking when I get home. I want to drink miso soup. When these three things come together, I go to Yayoiken because it's just delicious. Sometimes the presentation and taste of the rice can vary, which can be a bit disappointing. I wonder why that is. Maybe it's my own condition? But I rarely open such a large rice cooker, so it's fun, and it's enjoyable to see the big brother who eats a lot of extra rice. I end up thinking, "I have to get more too!" and end up getting more. They also serve hot tea and I really like their pickles. Among this type of chain restaurants, Yayoiken is my favorite. I love the Mix Grill set meal because it's really good value! This time, I had the Miso Katsu Nabe set meal, which was also delicious. I think Yayoiken is good at taking photos of their dishes. Their menu and food presentation always look so good. It's the familiar Yayoiken restaurant. Located at Morinomiya Station on the Osaka Loop Line. As soon as you enter the restaurant, there is a ticket machine. I chose the 580 yen ginger pork set meal. When I sat down, the staff came to take my ticket. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was more than half full. I thought it might take a while, but I was surprised when the ginger pork was served in about 5 minutes, it was fast. The ginger pork set meal comes with shredded cabbage with sesame dressing, cold tofu, rice, miso soup, and pickles on each table. Rice is all-you-can-eat (self-service). If you're hungry and want to eat a lot of rice but the side dishes are not enough, I recommend ordering extra raw egg or natto. The ginger pork at Yayoiken is on the sweet side. The ginger flavor is strong, but the sauce is sweet. Mayo is also served, so adding a little mayo makes it even more delicious. The strong seasoning makes the rice go down easily. Personally, I love the rice at Yayoiken. It's cooked just right for me. It seems like they use a little more water when cooking it. As a result, the rice is fluffy. I always end up getting seconds or thirds of rice at Yayoiken. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. It was delicious and the price was reasonable.

Located right by Morinomiya Station, I visited Yayoi Ken for takeout! I ordered the "Ginger Pork Bento Box" as planned. The bento box comes with a choice of regular, large, or extra-large portion of rice for the same price, so I went for the large size this time. I bought it in the morning and had it for lunch, and it was delicious even when it cooled down. The bento box also comes with miso soup with seaweed. The ginger pork is the most popular item on the takeout menu, and it was indeed a treat! Thank you for the meal!
