The summer break is over, and already half of August has passed. This means that there is little time left to enjoy Kanadeya's signature tomato dipping noodles "Tomato Tsukemen"! Even though I said I wanted to eat it at least 5 times during the summer, I have only had it once so far (^◇^;) I don't want to regret it, so I decided to visit Kanadeya. I used to go after work in the evenings, but due to its popularity, they now close at 10 pm, which I couldn't make it in time for (T ^ T). Furthermore, the owner's tweet mentioned that "due to the continued intense heat, the tomato dipping noodles often sell out during lunch hours," so I decided to visit right after they opened to ensure I could enjoy it. I entered after using the hand sanitizer at the entrance. Of course, I was the first customer and was seated at the front counter. I ordered the Tomato Tsukemen and Takana Don, just like last time, sorry. Because during this season, there is no other choice but to order this at Kanadeya, I can't even consider their other ramen! In less than 10 minutes, the Tomato Tsukemen arrived, looking as if it would say, "I'm Tomamen." Oh my ♡ It's so cold and perfect for such a hot day! I sprinkled the black pepper handed to me with "Please add to your liking" over the tomato and basil dipping sauce and started to enjoy it! Ahhh, no matter how many times I eat it, it's still incredibly delicious!! The rich flavor of tomato and basil is so delicious, like a drug!! It's the best!! Divine!!! I may have gotten a little carried away, but for me, this is by far my favorite Tsukemen in the world. To prevent the dipping sauce from getting diluted, I cut the noodles with water and then dipped them deeply into the sauce before slurping them up, and that alone can take you to heaven!! Whether you like it or not is a matter of preference, but I always end up shivering and twitching every time I eat it ♡ The Kanadeya specialty Takana Don was also delicious as always! Instead of the intensely spicy takana typical of ramen shops, this one had a sweet and delicious takana with mayo on top, which I also love! After finishing the Takana Don and seeing the noodles in the Tomato Tsukemen getting low, I felt a little sentimental, but after savoring the last slurp, it was time for the usual ritual of drinking up the remaining dipping sauce. I know it's not something you should do, but I just can't help but want to finish it. It's a bit uncouth, sorry about that. Well, there are still two weeks until the beginning of September, so I think I want to eat it at least once more... Actually, maybe twice. If I miss this time, I won't be able to have it for at least another year. If I can eat this, I don't mind if it's hot all year round haha. Thank you for the meal.
