I bought a CD with a signature from Miyuji-san. The live performance was amazing! Miyuji's upcoming event "2020 Spring" will be held from February 11th. The venue is Harajuku Crocodile in Tokyo. The event starts at 6:00 PM and the entrance fee is 4,000 yen in advance or 4,500 yen at the door. Don't miss it!

I was invited to a friend's live performance and went to Harajuku Crocodile between Shibuya and Harajuku on Meiji Street. It seemed a bit closer to Shibuya. I walked from Miyamasuzaka down Meiji Street towards Harajuku, and when I saw Jingumae Koen Park on my left, I crossed the signal ahead and found the live house on the right side of Meiji Street on the basement floor. It's a historic live house with a slightly American atmosphere, with playful crocodile displays here and there. There are counter seats, candle-lit table seats, and drinks and food available to enjoy the live performance. The sound system is good too. The live performance is seated, so it's safe for people of all ages. I ordered pasta and salad for food. The salad came quickly, but the pasta took an hour to arrive, haha. But it had a nostalgic taste with lots of ketchup. The staff at the restaurant are friendly, but the final bill can take a while as there can be a long line at checkout. It might be good to introduce payment methods like PayPay or LINE Pay.笑笑 Harajuku Crocodile 03-3499-5205, Tokyo, Shibuya-ku, Jingumae 6-18-8, New Sekiguchi Building B1

I have visited this place a couple of times before, but this time was for a friend's major debut live♪ The system here is that you pay for your ticket along with your food and drinks after the show, instead of paying for the ticket at the entrance like in other live houses. This can be a concern for those who are used to paying for each order separately and might accidentally leave without paying. The food menu is quite extensive with options like pasta, curry, and ginger pork(*^^)v. It's worth noting that this place is completely non-smoking, which might not sit well with the high smoking rate in the music industry, but it seems to be the trend of the times.

Today, I was invited by my senior to Crocodile in Harajuku. Another acquaintance of my senior also joined us, making it a group of three. The performers at Crocodile were TRANSFORMATIONSATSUKI (vocals), Hiroshi Sawada (bass), Satoshi Kaseda (percussion), Hironori Akiyama (guitar), Akira Ishiguro (keyboard), and Makoto Fujiwara (drums). The guest vocalist SATSUKI is the main vocalist of Zoo, and she gathered this band to perform together. I knew Sawada, who plays with char, but I didn't know that Ishiguro was a former member of Seikima II, and Akiyama has supported artists like aiko, Keisuke Kuwata, and Totus Matsumoto. They mainly covered Western music, but their arrangements were quite intricate and interesting. It was a shame that there were very few audience members. It was my first time at Crocodile, and I was impressed by the grand bar counter and flashy crocodile display. The menu seemed quite extensive for a live house. However, we didn't really eat during the performance, so we started with beer. We ordered some fried potatoes as a snack and continued with beer throughout the night. It was my first time seeing Sawada's Funk style, and it was quite entertaining. The music discussions before, during breaks, and on the way back home were also enjoyable.

I went to Harajuku Crocodile for the first time in a while. I always find the crocodiles on the ceiling surprising (lol). It's a place to enjoy music, so as long as there's alcohol, it's fine. But when I get a little hungry, I end up ordering some food. This time, I ordered a sausage platter! Don't expect much from the food. Among them, the prosciutto sandwich was decent. As long as you can have a good time with the music, that's all that matters. They have a good selection of beer and whiskey. So having mixed nuts on the menu would be nice.

I went to a live show of a band. It was rock and roll! There were lots of guys with pompadours and leather jackets, and girls with ponytails and polka dot skirts. It felt like the 70s! They were like the real Isao Bitoh! We felt out of place in our regular clothes, so we quickly drank our beer and left. But it was fun (laughs). Thank you for the experience.

Today, I went to the long-established live house "Crocodile" in Harajuku and tried crocodile meat! I was invited by a friend to visit the well-known live house "Crocodile" in Harajuku. It was my first time going there and the atmosphere was nostalgic and retro. The venue was packed with people, and the live performance by a band formed by music school teachers was really enjoyable. The live house offered a variety of drinks and dishes, including crocodile dishes like "Crocodile Karaage" and "Crocodile Fried Rice". I decided to try the "Crocodile Karaage" and also ordered a ham and tomato sandwich and chorizo spaghetti. Overall, it was a fun day enjoying the live music, drinks, and food at Crocodile. The crocodile meat was surprisingly mild in flavor, almost like chicken. The sandwich was delicious too, although it got a bit dry towards the end. I recommend visiting Crocodile for a great live music experience along with good food and drinks.

I went to see a stage performance at a restaurant called Crocodile, but I was surprised to find out that they serve crocodile meat! Wow, there are so many surprising things in Tokyo. Before the show, my friend and I had a few drinks and tried the crocodile meat, which was prepared like fried chicken. It was delicious, with a strong flavor and no strange smell. The smoked crocodile meat served during the show was also amazing. I wonder if the crocodile was behind all this!

Meiji Street is lined with a long-established live house♪ I was surprised that the atmosphere hasn't changed at all in many decades! I visited for the first time in about 15 years (^_^;;;) This place is primarily a live house, so they have live performances every day♪ When popular bands or events are playing, it gets so crowded that you might have to stand, so it's better to make a reservation in advance. The name of the place is Crocodile, and they have a crocodile menu! You absolutely must try this (lol) You can't talk about Crocodile without trying it (^_^) The fried crocodile and crocodile fried rice are both really delicious!!! They are unique and if you bring your colleagues here, your stock will rise! There are many drink options available. It was quite busy and I saw a girl working alone behind the counter, which seemed tough. The taste of cocktails and such is average. Keep in mind that there is a 10% service charge added to the prices on the menu, so order accordingly if you have a budget.

I went to see an acquaintance's live performance for the first time. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the food at the live house, but it was surprisingly authentic and delicious!! They even had dishes featuring the restaurant's name, "Wani" (which means crocodile in Japanese). I ordered a beer, a sandwich with prosciutto and avocado, and German potatoes. The sandwich was filled with prosciutto and avocado with a spicy mayonnaise, and it was satisfying and tasty because it had plenty of filling. The German potatoes were also authentic, with large potatoes, onions, bacon bits, and a strong garlic flavor, making it a great snack! There was more food than I expected, so my stomach was very satisfied. It's rare to be able to have a proper meal while watching a live performance!! Of course, the drink menu is also extensive, but a bit pricey.

Joe Yamagami, who was a vocalist for the Flower Traveling Band in the 1970s and also appeared in the movie "Proof of the Man," was diagnosed with lung cancer. A charity live event was held over four days to support his comeback, with many musicians performing. I attended with my wife on the first day, enjoying some salad, pizza, and beer before the live music started. The atmosphere was exciting, and the legendary "Gan-san" was no longer with us, but the staff at the venue were still very energetic. The interior was old-fashioned, with lots of mirrors and metal elements that were quite innovative at the time. The musicians, both old and young, played nostalgic songs, but I couldn't help but wish to hear the guitars of Nariemai Shigeru and Chin Shin-hui once again. Most of all, I wanted to hear Joe's high-pitched voice. I heard he made a surprise appearance on the final day. In the past, Japanese rock records didn't sell well, unlike today where CDs can become million sellers. Concerts at Yoyogi Park Amphitheater featured dozens of bands performing from noon until midnight for only 300 yen. I remembered sneaking in without a ticket once, which could have ended badly if caught. The memories of those days were vivid, with incidents like people inhaling thinner and throwing cans at performers. It was a great era, full of nostalgia for me. My wife, who came to Tokyo from Kyushu at the age of 15, used to shake a shaker at this venue 30 years ago. She saw Joe as a brother figure and was grateful for his help. Joe's role was to handle unruly men, a task he did with finesse. It was around the time I was working at DUG in Shinjuku or Juniors in Shibuya. Although we hadn't met yet, I wonder how things would have been if we had crossed paths then. We attended Joe's funeral together.

I visited a live house where my friend's ex-wife (an actress, singer) was performing. It was a live house known for its delicious food, and indeed, I think it is quite outstanding for a live house. The seasoning was well done, showing good taste. I felt the excellence of the taste in dishes like "rolled omelette." The prices were not particularly high, which I appreciated. The live performance was sold out, and there was a great atmosphere. A certain famous rock singer even made a guest appearance and sang a hit song in an acoustic version. Thanks to this, I was able to have a very enjoyable time.

A longstanding live house along Meiji Street. My favorite rock band often performs here, so I visit occasionally. They have a bar with a wide selection of drinks. The food is a bit pricey for the taste, but that's to be expected at a live house. The ham and avocado sandwich had thick bread (lol). The mixed mushroom pizza was quite delicious. The staff recommended trying the signature dish here, which is alligator, but I didn't have the courage to try it (^ ^;) They have dishes like fried alligator and alligator fried rice. I wonder what it tastes like... Just a heads up, there are some uncomfortable seats, especially the billiard seats (where the table is a billiard table), but if you're lost in the music, you'll forget about it.

The taste, service, and prices here are reasonable. When I go to this place, I end up ordering food while listening to live music. It's rare to find a place where you can enjoy live music and good food at the same time.
