Due to the coronavirus, the windows of the restaurant were blacked out for a long time, but recently they were removed and the inside became visible. When I peeked inside, there were 5-6 groups of male customers (half of them were foreigners). Since there were also solo customers, I decided to enter the restaurant. When I entered from the front, everyone's eyes were on me. The restaurant is an Irish pub with a billiard table in the middle and a very spacious atmosphere. I first ordered at the counter on the left and then brought my drink myself, while the food was brought to me later in a cash-on-delivery style. I ordered a Kirin draft beer for 800 yen and an aperitif plate for 1000 yen. The plate was generous with bacon, ham, mortadella, camembert cheese, salad, watercress, olives, pickles, and sauerkraut. One pint of beer was not enough, so I ordered a Guinness half-and-half for 1000 yen. It was good value for money. Later, female customers also entered, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, so I stayed for a long time. It seems like a good place for a meal or a snack, so I would consider revisiting.

I often use this shop for meetings and light late-night snacks. The store is spacious with many seats and plenty of TVs. The staff is quick and efficient, making it a comfortable place to be. You order and purchase at the counter, making it simple to use. The business hours are long, so you can use it in the morning, afternoon, and evening without worry, and takeout is also available. They can also deliver to your room for guests staying at the hotel. They have a wide variety of alcohol, with two sizes available. The food menu includes pasta, pizza, and garlic shrimp, which are all delicious despite being a bit junky. On this day, I had persimmon-wrapped prosciutto, which had just the right amount of salt and was delicious. I will definitely go back again.

There is a pub on the first floor of APA that also serves breakfast, starting at 7 am, which is great. They have taken thorough measures for COVID-19, with gloves and alcohol spray available. They offer a variety of vegetables and bread, allowing you to make your own Eggs Benedict. They also have crispy bacon and fried potatoes available in the morning, which is a nice touch. Next to the lobby of an APA Hotel, there is an Irish pub. You pay at the counter and carry your own drinks, but they bring the food to your table. The cost performance is good and everything I've tried is quite delicious. The menu consists mainly of junk food. Originally founded by former Yokohama Marinos player Yamada, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. It's not too quiet or too noisy, and the seats are comfortable. It's conveniently located nearby, so I use it occasionally. Thank you for always providing a good experience.

The season has turned to early autumn, and the surroundings are enjoying the autumn atmosphere, but my companion was still saying, "It's still hot, let's go to the pool, let's go," which was a noisy period. Somehow, they found out that the pool was still open at APA Hotel, so we went for a swim. We arrived at APA Hotel just a short walk from Shinjuku Sanchome. After a short wait, my companion also arrived. Before swimming (or rather, playing in the water), we decided to have lunch at IRISH PUB Peter Cole inside APA Hotel. It was just the right time for a reasonably priced lunch. I ordered the daily special Pork Ginger, and my companion ordered the Clam and White Wine Vongole Bianco. We also ordered a Heineken and a Kilkenny to go with the meal. Lunch included all-you-can-eat salad, bread, soup, and soft drinks, which was a great deal. The Pork Ginger, with summer vegetables on the side, looked appetizing with its beautiful colors. When I took a bite of the meat, the spiciness of the ginger hit first, followed by the subtle sweetness of the tender meat spreading in my mouth. The green's slight bitterness and the red's soft acidity were distinct in this sauce, making it delicious in a subtle way. This sauce also paired well with rice, and the rice was also delicious. The salad was fresh and crunchy, with okra and onions adding a nice touch. Even the boiled egg was a satisfying addition. The consomme soup had the right amount of saltiness. The sandwiches and bread, which I initially thought were nothing special, turned out to be surprisingly good. The sandwiches had a moist bread texture, and the croissant with sugar sprinkled on top had a light sweetness and was delicious. I apologize to all the bread skeptics for my preconceived notions. I only had a bite of the White Wine Vongole Bianco, but the clam broth with thin pasta cooked just right was delicious. We were full from the meal, including the great deals, so thank you for the meal. The spacious interior allowed us to enjoy our meal leisurely. The staff were efficient and left a good impression. There was a lottery ticket attached to the coaster, and we won, so when we went to exchange the prize on our way out, there was a party going on. It might be a nice place for a small gathering as well. The pool was a bit cold due to the sunlight, but the water inside was warm, making it just right for splashing around for the last time. This was my second visit, and as they say, "You won't catch a cold if you don't catch the wind," so fortunately, there was no catching a cold this time. I visited before the Rugby World Cup. At that time, I wondered what the prize was when I saw the seal. However, there was not much excitement at that time, but later on, it became very lively. The prize is kept carefully in a treasure chest, which seems to be more common among men. I think it was a wonderful decision to make such a difficult decision during the time of the coronavirus. Personally, I am grateful for your efforts. This summer, I will go to APA Hotel to enjoy the pool in a different location.

British pub located on the first floor of an APA Hotel near the Shimmizuhashi intersection in Nishi-Shinjuku 5-chome, extending west from Shinjuku. I stumbled upon this place while wandering around the Shimmizuhashi intersection area. I had arranged to meet with an acquaintance and their spouse, but they were running late, so I decided to go in to wait. It was exactly 5:00 PM. There were two women already inside, enjoying coffee instead of alcohol. I didn't mind and ordered a Heineken. The service style was cash-on-delivery, so I went up to the counter to place my order. I also requested some Buffalo chicken as a snack. The Heineken was promptly served and brought to my table. The Buffalo chicken was prepared, and I was given a number tag to wait for it to be ready. As I looked around the restaurant, I noticed the "Walking Johnny" character, adding to the British atmosphere. The Buffalo chicken looked quite spicy with its red color. When I tried it, it was indeed very spicy, with a rich and intense flavor that made it hard to stop eating. It was so spicy that it made my mouth hurt a bit. I finished my first Heineken and moved on to a Kirin Ichiban beer. Both beers were served in glasses with their respective logos. The Heineken was relatively mild for an imported beer, while the Kirin Ichiban was smooth with less of a distinct taste. Japanese beer is truly delicious. I continued to enjoy the beer while eating the spicy Buffalo chicken. After finishing my second beer, I left the pub. I was about to meet my acquaintance and their spouse, and it seemed like we were going to have another drinking session, so I needed to pace myself. This pub had a different atmosphere compared to chain pubs like HUB, offering a cozy place to have a light drink and some food for a beer lover like me.

Introducing an Irish pub in Nishi-Shinjuku 5-chome. The interior is very spacious and stylish, with a large screen for sports viewing. Some customers are playing billiards in groups, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves freely. They have a wide selection of beers including Guinness, Kilkenny, Ichiban Shibori, and Heineken on tap. I enjoyed a one-pound steak and roast beef with mashed potatoes while sipping on different beers. Even though my stay was short, I'm glad I came! LOL

I was surprised that the portion sizes were larger than expected for just a small appetizer. I was also surprised that they served craft beer here.

In the area of Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome, this shop stands out as spacious with a great Irish pub atmosphere. I tried the steak, fish and chips, salad, and other dishes, and they all exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. The steak, in particular, was tender, well-seasoned with pepper, and the sauce was also good. I would love to go back to eat there. Since it's a sports bar, there are two large TVs where you can enjoy watching soccer matches or the Olympics. It made me feel like I was traveling abroad.

I visited "IRISHPUB Peter Cole Main Store" located next to an Apa Hotel, a 1-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome Station, around 1 pm on a certain day in June 2018. The spacious restaurant had about 7-8 customers already. I ordered the pasta lunch (Pescaatore Bianco) for ¥780 and went to get soup and a drink before waiting for the main dish. It was served in about 5 minutes. The plate included pasta, quiche, salad, toast, and dessert. The pasta portion was a bit small, but it had plenty of seafood ingredients as expected from the name Pescaatore. I enjoyed it with clams. The quiche was of decent quality and quite satisfying. The salad was average. It would be nice if they offered a salad bar to increase the value for lunch options. However, I found the price of ¥780 for a plate lunch reasonable. The male staff's customer service had a somewhat unpleasant feel, which left a mediocre impression. I hope they improve on that by my next visit.

An Irish pub has opened on the first floor of an Apa Hotel near Nishi-Shinjuku-Gochome Station on the Oedo Line. The address is in Shibuya-ku, but it is located on the border with Shinjuku-ku. It used to be called places like Juunisha or Yodobashi in the past. The name of the station is quite bland. Two pints of beer and fish & chips came to a total of 2,700 yen. It's a typical pub style, cash on delivery. There are five beer taps with Guinness, Kilkenny, Heineken, Brooklyn, and Kirin Ichiban Shibori on offer. Guinness and Kilkenny are exactly 1,000 yen per pint. The pouring was done with care. The fish & chips consisted of three pieces of fish, each about 10 centimeters long. The batter was fluffy, the inside was soft and moist. The frying was just right. On the other hand, the potatoes were crispy and firm. The portion was generous, but it might get a bit boring. The seasoning like salt was subtle. Looking at the menu, there are also pasta, pizza, and steak, so it seems to function more as a hotel restaurant than a pure pub. The interior is quite spacious. There is a counter with about 10 seats by the window, as well as table seating. In the middle of the floor, there is a high barrel table, and the rest are lower tables. There are curtain walls that could be used to partition off some areas for private dining.
