On November 15, 2022 (Tuesday), I visited this restaurant for the first time before boarding a flight back from Fukuoka to Haneda. It is a branch located inside Fukuoka Airport, known for being a pioneer of pork bone and seafood dipping noodles, and the only one outside Tokyo. When I arrived at 3:53 PM, there were only a few customers inside due to the odd timing. I purchased a ticket for the "Rich Special Ramen" and when I handed it over at my seat, the ramen arrived in about 4 minutes. The cloudy brown soup had a slight viscosity, topped with chashu, flavored egg, bamboo shoots, seaweed, and chopped green onions on thin noodles. When I tasted the soup, it had a balanced and rich flavor of soy sauce, salt, and a well-rounded broth taste. The broth seemed to consist of chicken, pork, dried seafood, and had a heavy umami taste without being overpowering. The soup also had a natural sweetness without any added sugar, suggesting the use of various vegetables in addition to animal and dried seafood ingredients. The sauce provided a moderate saltiness without masking the broth's umami, enhancing the ingredients' flavors. The noodles, cooked to a firm texture, had a subtle wheat flavor and effectively absorbed the soup. However, I felt that the broth's umami slightly overshadowed the noodle's flavor. The chashu, thickly sliced pork thigh meat, maintained a juicy texture reminiscent of confit, with a modest soy sauce flavor and a simple umami taste. The flavored egg had an ideal jelly-like yolk, elevated by a sweetened dashi, enhancing its richness. Overall, despite the somewhat ordinary composition, the meticulously crafted flavors were superbly satisfying. While the restaurant's specialty is undoubtedly the dipping noodles, I personally believe that the ramen showcases a higher level of perfection. In an era where many popular eateries rely on uniqueness, this restaurant's expansion while maintaining its traditional taste is a testament to its high quality. As someone who considers ramen tasting a lifelong pursuit, I often find solace in enjoying a meal at a reliable establishment like this one. I look forward to continuing to visit this place when I need a break from my culinary adventures. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a regular tsukemen! It was a little over 1,000 yen, I think. The soup was rich, with green onions, menma, and chashu. You could also adjust the taste with vinegar and citrus. The noodles were just the right thickness and firmness, and even though I got a regular portion, I am very full!

The prices are a bit high, but the taste is okay. I went there for the first time today, and the person next to me got their order mixed up and ended up waiting. The staff and the person making the food noticed, and they exchanged a few words, but they still served the order without saying anything like "I'm sorry" or "Please wait a moment." The person who was waiting was muttering while eating. It made me feel sad eating next to them.

I visited the restaurant at noon on a weekday and was able to sit at the counter without any issues. I purchased the rich flavor egg tsukemen (dipping noodles) for 1,200 yen from the vending machine. I helped myself to water. By 12:20, a line had formed, so I was lucky to have arrived just in time. The tsukemen arrived after a reasonable wait. I ate it as it was at first, then squeezed some citrus on the noodles, and finally sprinkled black shichimi pepper and pepper on top (recommended way to eat it). The broth was rich and flavorful, with plenty of toppings. I enjoyed it and finished it all before leaving the counter. I didn't end up adding soup to the leftover broth.

After having rich and heavy meals in Fukuoka, I felt like eating some cold noodles, so I went to Tsukemen-ya. The cold noodles had a refreshing texture and were served with a rich soup that coated them perfectly, making them slide smoothly down my throat. I didn't let the remaining soup from the dipping noodles go to waste. I added some rice to it and enjoyed a deliciously rich porridge. It was absolutely delightful.

"Fukuoka Airport Ramen" is located on the runway and is a famous chain known as "Tsujita." While it's hard to get into the Tokyo locations due to long lines, it's relatively easy to dine at the Fukuoka branch. I always order the rich tsukemen with menma, and no matter how many times I eat it, I never get tired of this authentic tsukemen. First, I try the noodles on their own. They have a great texture and flavor. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their noodles. When dipped in the soup, it tastes delicious. The flavor is strong, but you can taste the seafood essence. After eating a third of it, I add some sudachi. Ah, the scent of sudachi adds a new dimension, keeping it from getting boring. The last third, I sprinkle black shichimi. It changes the aroma nicely. I enjoyed it all the way to the soup broth. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for the first time, but I realized that I had actually been here 4 years ago. So, my evaluation is based on this visit without any preconceptions from the previous one. When I looked back at my previous review, I had criticized the lukewarm soup and the strange acidity of the soup. This time, the soup was piping hot. I didn't feel the unpleasant acidity, but I thought the saltiness was a bit too strong.

I had lunch at Fukuoka Airport and decided to stop by the ramen street on the 3rd floor. I bought a ticket for the rich ramen for 980 yen and was seated at the counter. It was just past 12 o'clock on a weekday, but the place was almost full, and it seemed like there would be a line when 5-6 foreign tourists entered. I realized after sitting at the counter that this shop was actually a tsukemen (dipping noodles) shop. The food came out in about 3 minutes. The noodles were chewy and the fish broth was rich in flavor, making it delicious. Next time, I will try the tsukemen.

Fukuoka Airport's Ramen Runway is located at Tsujita, which is originally from Tokyo. I had the rich flavored egg tsukemen there. The noodles were well-prepared as always. The color of the noodles seemed a bit yellowish to me. I personally like to sprinkle black shichimi on it early.

At the first restaurant, I went to Isshin, and today I am at the second restaurant, Tsujita. It seems like the noodles here are not typical Hakata style, so I decided to try it out. Their specialty seems to be tsukemen, but I'm not a big fan of tsukemen, so I ordered the rich ramen instead. When I handed the ticket to the staff, they asked me if I was sure about ordering the rich ramen. Looking around, I noticed that everyone else was having tsukemen. The rich ramen came in a deep bowl with a lot of soup, and I thought to myself, "Is this much soup necessary?" I took a bite and found that it was just a normal delicious tonkotsu and seafood-based ramen. The noodles were thick, unlike the Hakata style, more like the usual thickness in Hokkaido. The taste reminded me of something I had tried in Hokkaido before. I was planning to visit another restaurant after this, but the generous portion of ramen here has left me feeling quite full and satisfied.

I had dinner at the airport and decided to visit another restaurant for a change. I tried the Rich Special Tsukemen for ¥1290, which I had visited a few times when I lived in Tokyo, so it felt nostalgic. It's a classic tsukemen with a rich flavor that can be considered the taste of Tokyo. The price is a bit high, but overall, the quality is good, so I don't think you will regret eating here.

For a casual visit to Fukuoka Airport. After finishing my business, I headed to the Ramen Runway. Various famous ramen shops from around Japan are lined up here. I decided to try a super famous shop known for its long lines in Tokyo. I found a ticket machine at the storefront and entered the shop. The shop is famous for its tsukemen, but I felt like having a rich special ramen (1220 yen). I entered the shop and sat at the counter seats surrounding the kitchen, as I was dining alone. I handed over my ticket and in about 5-6 minutes, my ramen arrived. The toppings included two large slices of chashu, seasoned egg, and seaweed. The noodles were a special order made in collaboration with Mikawa-ya Noodle Company, and they are even transported all the way from Tokyo in a wooden box. The soup, a rich pork and seafood broth made with carefully selected ingredients, had a gentle flavor. The shop is so well-known for its tsukemen that it is often said "When it comes to tsukemen, it's Tsujita." Seeing everyone around me ordering tsukemen, I realized that I should have gone for that instead. Something to keep in mind for next time.

Hakata Airport Ramen on the runway for lunch. It's slightly crowded around midday on weekdays. Bought a ticket for the rich soft-boiled egg dipping noodles for 1180 yen and sat at the counter. Had to wait a bit. The noodles were fresh and decent in portion. The dipping sauce was rich pork bone broth, a bit light and easy to eat. Added some black shichimi for flavor variation.

A ramen and tsukemen shop located inside the airport. While they also serve ramen, the real star here is the tsukemen. The photo shows the special tsukemen, which is a bit on the pricey side but comes in a generous portion. It's delicious when hot, but loses its appeal as it cools down, so it's a bit of a shame. However, the black shichimi pepper added afterwards is a perfect way to change up the flavor. The chashu and seasoned egg are just right in terms of taste. If you have room after finishing, I recommend adding rice, or if not, try the soup wari.

Rich special ramen and pickled vegetable rice!! Total cost is over 1500 yen!!! It might be a bit expensive for lunch, but the ramen has a rich flavor, the chashu is thick, and the rice portion is generous! The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and nice!

I was heading to Miyazaki on a business trip, but unexpectedly the flight was cancelled and I was stuck at Fukuoka Airport. I decided to give up and head back home today. Since I had come all the way to the airport, I thought I would have some ramen before leaving. When it comes to ramen at the airport, Tsujita is the best choice, right? I decided to have the rich and flavorful Tonkotsu ramen. It's been a while since I last had it. However, the price has increased quite a bit. The ramen was delicious as always. I like to add plenty of black pepper. I also had some soup refills and left very satisfied. I feel like back when they first opened, there used to be more chunks of meat in the ramen. The world is a tough place, isn't it?

After returning from a business trip in Fukuoka, I visited Tsujita at Fukuoka Airport. I ordered a simple tsukemen. The broth was rich with a strong seafood flavor. The noodles were chewy and smooth, very delicious. For a change in taste, I squeezed some sudachi over the noodles, and added black pepper at the end. It was enjoyable until the last bite.

It's inside the airport, right? Good value for money. Whenever I have a business trip to Fukuoka and have some time before my flight, I always have lunch at Tsujita. I prefer ramen over tsukemen, so I always order it. But every time I buy a meal ticket, they confirm if I want tsukemen or ramen, right? Haha, they must make a lot of mistakes, huh? Haha

It seems to be a restaurant that specializes in tsukemen. This time, I ordered the normal tonkotsu ramen with rich soup (160g of noodles) for 980 yen. The noodles were medium thickness and the soup was not too thick. It came with menma and homemade Kyoto-style black shichimi pepper on the table. They pay attention to detail. Thank you for the meal.

A ramen shop I stopped by at the airport on my way back from Fukuoka. It's located inside the runway of the airport. They stay open relatively late, which is convenient for business travelers. The noodles have a firm texture and go well with the soup! You can also add sudachi for a change in flavor. They accept travel support coupons, so even if you forget to use them, you can still use them at the end, which is convenient.

Around 11 o'clock on a regular weekday, there are usually 2-3 people waiting in line at this ramen shop, which is more popular for its tonkotsu (pork bone) broth, typical of Kyushu region. I ordered the tsukemen with egg, which was rich and authentic with a strong fish powder flavor. The amount of garlic chips seems to be decreasing year by year, but the taste is still satisfying. In the end, Tsujita is the best choice...
